Bob, once again I have stumbled across a set that I have no memory of ever having heard before - and it is absolutely one of the greatest ever - not a miscue in the carload. I hate to sound like the grouchy grandpa but listening to these multiphonic orchestras with great violinists, etc. is a joy. I am so sick of electrified noise everywhere today. Also, I am constrained to comment that Scrappy Lambert must have had a great bicycle to get him from session to session in that period - and he is great. Off to laden up some of the turkey-vegetable soup I made for the day and then back to listen to this set on a continuous loop as I edit. Happy Turkey day to all.
James have a very Happy Thanksgiving over there in the Ukraine. I bet your soup is delicious! I am experimenting with some continuous loops on the stream. I did one yesterday and wasn't present the whole time as I had to leave. It looped the same 30 tracks for over 3 hours. Happy Turkey day again to you! 🦃🙏🦃
Ah, but these were great years to be alive to enjoy the wonderful music of the era. Today we get much better fidelity, of course, thanks to your great restoration efforts, Bob. Well done.
WOW. at 30-35 mins of this compilation are great. Scrappy at his best, with Nat Shilkrat, too. A great duo. Thank you...puts a little spring in my step on this Friday in front of Labor Day!
The folks at UA-cam are to be commended for reviving and bringing to the wide public the energizing and optimistic music and accompanying images of the Golden Age of America, namely the Roaring 20's boosting the resiliency of our Western civilization facing multiple challenges, both internal and external. Greetings and blessings from Zion.😊

Sweet! Nice video presentation that went well the music selection, which is great by the way. Thanks for posting great music for those of us who love that era!
@@pax41 Hi Bob. Lovely I will be listening cos right now it is a cold rainy day and I am preparing my bathroom ceiling for painting which I will be doing tomorrow. So your music will be just perfect. 🎼🎻😀
I think people are funny in regards to the dislike situation. The reason UA-cam provides that on videos is to help the video creators. The thought process is that if we can measure the content people like, then it helps us create material that people want to see. However, I think in this case it is a response to the music being posted and not to the video material I created.
I will be broadcasting 3 Live shows tomorrow. They will be at 10AM, 2PM and 5PM Central time and each will feature a different period of music. Hope you can tune in.

Very pleasing melodies. This music appeals to me
Back in the early 70's when I first discovered this music my wife actually stopped at an antique store and found the Ruby Newman. I still have it.
I love that Ruby Newman recording, one of my favorites.
I probably had about 35 records when I picked up that one.
I love these enchanting songs they are so romantic and sweet ,no vulgar language just classy and refined .
Great set! I like all those with Scrappy vocals and also the Jack Payne side.

Los colores, los dibujos, la orquesta y el contenido musical, no se comparan para nada a esta época.
Of all these songs, I like "Kiss Me Again" best.
