Kudos for getting over the hard bit! I own a Tiger 800, so I know how hard that sort of terrain would be.
Great vid, thanks for posting.
video quality, just wow, keep up the good work.
+John Twist thanks.
MuddySump wer is this mate I'm in durham
Nice video. Really like the sound of that engine :)
Im in the Northumbria TRF so know where my local lanes are. I found this one in Adventure Bike Rider magazine. They've started putting greenlanes in there now.
"It's not cheating - it's getting home" - heh, agree.
I enjoyed the road riding there too. They were in good condition, probably helped been the only person on the road too
Thanks. It didn't look too bad when i was on foot planning it, but when your on top of it and sat on the bike it looks a lot higher
try riding the difficult stuff with your feet on the footpegs next time, n just let it roll ... oh wow I just see that this is a 10 yo comment I am answering
@@kloppskalli😂 went back to it another time just on my drz. It’s a lot easier when you’re not bothered about dropping the bike
looked like fun great views :) how do you find out where these types of roads are ?
Thanks
This looks a great trail, 85 miles away from me though. Thanks for sharing.
There's loads around there suitable for the bigger bikes
I've got a DRZ400S so should be ok on those ones, I'd be crapping myself about dropping that Tiger! Looks like you had fun!
I didn't actually know they were going to be that big till I got to them :-0
10 miles? I think my KLE would fall to bits after that. Only been to the dales once and that was on my old 690SMC, was great fun.
Tried this with a KLV1000 Kawasaki (Suzuki V-Strom clone) in 2006. Had to walk it down in gear and using clutch as a rear brake. Never again! Lol
I went back and did it on my DRZ a few times when there was a trf camping weekend down that way. It was east in the bike going both ways when you know you don’t mind dropping that bike.
Someone said on here not long ago that it’s all been levelled off now.
@@MuddySump Yeah, it was graded about a year ago. The steps are starting to reappear now though.
This road is best suited to the DR
Would of made it a lot easier
Shame it's flattened off now
Haven’t seen it for years. Have they ruined that one now too?
@@MuddySump yea, some time ago now, very boring
Thanks
