- This week I’m sharing with you a far more sedate ride than the previous weeks but nevertheless a route which I’ve wanted to try for quite some time now.
Redlands Rigg, on the North Yorkshire Moors. Nothing particularly technical about it, but very enjoyable to ride.

Seem to think the the cleveland way sweeps through at some point along this route.

Great to see its still open and a lot better maintained. i ad a bad crash on there 24yr ago hit a fresh cut drainage ditch on a Tenere 600 🤷♂️🙊😳 Ride safe mate 👊✊️✊️
This was a route I’d wanted to ride for quite some time, as it is now it’s steady away but I still enjoyed the day. Hopefully you weren’t too badly injured?

Yeah it was a decent trail, ten miles long. I ended up doing it four times just for the hell of it. 😁

Hey up Steve, bit of a long lane that one, did you do any others in the area whilst you were there ?
No I just played on this for a couple of hours trying out the different map settings. It's quite a journey for me to get there from home so time was limited. 👍
That was different very few if any obstacles this time ! Parts of that track are so straight that you could be excused for thinking that the track has Ronan origins...lol mind you I reckon the drovers that developed the track didn't want or need to walk any further than necessary ........ I think the stone posts on the moors could be Trig points
It was very tame compared with the other recent videos but then sometimes it's nice to just have a steady ride and focus on the location and scenery 👍
