Happy New Year 🎉 well done, I thought you'd have second thoughts. My hubby and I just found you on youtube. We've been living here in Pelican Waters for 4 years and thought we'd get some new places to look at around the Sunshine Coast, but now you've gone 😮 but we'll watch your old videos and enjoy your new ones. My husbands ancestors are Scottish from Applecross. All the best to you. 🙂
Hey thanks for watching! Sounds like we did a swap of locations 😊 we have heard Applecross is beautiful but also the road is a bit precarious, so we'll visit there when it's warmer weather. If you have any recommendations for there or anywhere else please share 🙂
Hi ! ive just discovered your channel. I live 5 mins walk from where you did your loony dook. Ive lived here 17 years and never been in that water ! wouldn't even go in in the so called "summer" we are having. ! Too cold !! 🥶 i also have an ex council flat, so howdy neighbours 👋
You guys are bonkers for doing that, i'm 59 born and bred in Edinburgh and have swam there as a schoolboy in the 70's, wild horses wouldn't get me into the water there in January! Interesting you call that Wardie Bay, the stone pier was known as Granton Pier when i was a lad because on the other side was Granton Harbour, the beach you were on was always known as Granton beach and if said you were are at 'Wardie Bay' the chances are most locals wouldn't have a clue what you were talking about lol
As we said in the video "It's nice once you get in" 😆 aka "I can't feel my legs" Thanks for letting us know about Granton Beach / Wardie Bay name change. There's a sign at the enterance that says "Wardie Bay" so we just assumed that's what it is called.
Well done!
Thanks 👍
Well done! Glad you are enjoying staying in Scotland x🏴
Thanks for watching. We are loving Scotland!!
The chest wasn't sore because you'd already gone past the "danger zone" - it's brutal! Congrats!
Ha ha 🤣 very much brutal!! Michael is still not sure if he has recovered 😔

@taylors-explore Both born here in Australia, so sorry I can't give you any recommendations. Enjoy.
That looks fantastic. It’s now on my bucket list.
You'll love it! Once you get warm and dry 🤣
Yup, I was one of the loons. Yesterday there were even people surfing at Wardie Bay! Haste ye back.
Ha ha, hi fellow loon! Yeah we saw the surfers, some even out there today. Such a great spot and we will miss it when we move

Wish we gave it a go before we came home.
There's always next time, it's invigorating 😁
Free Icy bath every morning 😂😌🥶🥶
It's very invigorating Edna 😂
It was too cold for me to swim at Noosa in June! I want to say well done but that’s definitely not for me.
Ha ha, it was very refreshing to say the least 😂
Yolooooo
🥶
Hard pass for me. Good for you both. Watching this video scared me, so ✔
Thanks for watching Alice ☺️ we were brave for you
