Went on the Welsh one, it was excellent. It's a lot faster than you'd expect. For the folks saying it's too small, these coasters are very new and probably expensive, once they've recouped the costs there will be more and they'll be bigger.
It looks great. I went on one in Austria 35 years ago but it was just made up of concrete pipe half’s & a basic wheeled sled. My run down was spoiled by the sled in front that had stopped. Basic stuff but good fun.
This is the first decent explanation I have seen about this . I have always wanted to know if it could seat more than one person , or if you could go on with a child . Even their own web page wasn’t clear . Thank you.
Could do with some sort of cafe/coffee shop at the bottom for waiting family members, and those who have bought the three rides and want to take their time.
@@edinburghandbeyond considering in the swiss alps the coaster is about 1.4km and it’s 9.00 CHF which equals to £8.03 I feel my opinion differs there lol
a single sled would be £210 an hour (£7 x 30minutes) as it takes 2 minutes to do the track start to finish (if it was per minute it would be 7x60), depending on how many sleds they have and judging by the 10 second spacing at around 25metres between them, track length is rounded up to 1000m.... 1000/25 = 40 sleds are able to be spaced on the track... 40x£210 = £8400 an hour they could make out of single rides x 7.5hours it's open = £63000 a day, ride is weekend only so 52x£63000 = £3276000 a year.... looks piss poor in my opinion compared to the one in Jamaica I was on.
So what if the council do benefit from it? That will help the city's infrastructure. Or do you believe that only the private sector should benefit from this facility?
9 quid is a bit steep if it was a bit cheaper like 6 bucks a go I would probably go more often but at £9 I will probably go once and not again and I only live about twenty minutes away. Surely they want to encourage repeat business? I think they've overpriced that
I don't understand how you would be able to take in any views! It was way to fast... That is a roller coaster without the loops.... I felt very unsafe just watching it!
As other people have stated another non ambitious attempt at something so underwhelming woo 🎉 the money they spend on other things like Dundee v & a I guess better than nothing 😮
Thanks for having us on the channel, nice to meet you.

I like it. It's very fun
Looks like a lot of fun. Reasonable price as well. Thanks for the ride. 😊
Thanks for the video, going to give it a go, but it looks a bit tame after 100mph at the Welsh zip line!
brilliant and informative video...thank you.....price excellent and looks about right amount fun on rides for me....thank you soo much
Thanks mate

Hi Michael 👋 excellent, that’s a must to try. Glad the camera is holding out . Very affordable too. Cheers 🍻
Yea
Other Apline coaster is in Wales Zip world, was the only one in the UK, looks like the sledges are the same make.
Looks great fun - and for a brand new ride £7 a ticket seems good value Michael 👍
Yea it great value I think
That's very reasonable, this is definitely going on the bucket list! If it's anything like the Zipworld one in Wales, it'll be ace.
Looks sound Micheal next time I’m through I will give it a blast when I’m on the dry slope
Have u seen the kids' channel before give him a subscribe nice young man
@@edinburghandbeyond will do
Looks good Michael 👍
We went on one at a park near Lancaster 30 years ago. It was great fun. Unfortunately that one no longer exists.
Aww that a shame
Brilliant 😅thanks for letting us see well done 👏
Great work Michael! Fast om the ball there on opening day🙌😁
Yea I was right in there

Thanks, u mate. Sure, you subscribe
We finally have a coaster in Scotland (Not counting looping star bc it was took down in 2019 at Cadonoas)
Fantastic
Could do with some sort of cafe/coffee shop at the bottom for waiting family members, and those who have bought the three rides and want to take their time.
Good idea 💡
Thanks for the info , looks great 👍🏼
Your welcome
That looks fun
Brilliant buddy. I'll be trying it soon. Very cheap too.
Yea good price
Looks good
Looks fun I'm just along the road too and never heard of this 😂
Great fun for the kids and you, of course 100%
Looks ok, but really, typical uk. This could and should be much longer. We always aim so small, everything is mediocre.
Money money
@@s125ish not at all, not if money is to be made. It's NIMBYism and a pathetic lack of ambition.
It's the biggest on UK but I know what u mean
And it would also feel entirely wrong if someone wasn’t whinging about it.
@@misterc5783 Haha, quite.Which was my point, haha.
Looks good 👍

Sorry, but i just have to point out the mis spelling, APline instead of ALpine on the video thumbnail.
@harrywhoudini9013 yea, I am aware my editor does this on purpose
How fast?
28 top speed
Omg that's amazing hellend . Nice alpine coaster 🎢
Hiya krispy. Fancy meeting you here! Yes, looks great. I may even have go myself. I'm only about 40 minutes away.
lol
Would be good if it lasted much longer. Over too quickly in my opinion
Very short. Under a minute?
1 min
22 sec, to come down, I timed it all depends how fast ur going 4mins up
2:40
need more of these in the highlands
@@mfslots need more of these full stop lol
@@kkrispy2009P lol true ones a good start though
Leave the highlands alone. Don’t need ugly spoiling the countryside.
Oh… was that it? For 7 quid
Yea it's OK price to be honest

I'VE NO DOUBTS THE COUNCIL WILL MAKE PLENTY OUT OF THIS.

For £7 you can't whack it.
Likes like fun, but would be so much better without the music and just the natural coaster sound with the pov
Yea I lll be honest something happens to my mic

It’s £7 for one go, £19 for 3. Did you watch the video?
I don't understand how you would be able to take in any views! It was way to fast... That is a roller coaster without the loops.... I felt very unsafe just watching it!
It's 100% safe
I am up for a group day. Anyone fancy it.
ZZZZZzzzzzzz......
As other people have stated another non ambitious attempt at something so underwhelming woo 🎉 the money they spend on other things like Dundee v & a I guess better than nothing 😮
The dundee thing is a waste of money 💰
£7 is decent for a ride, but it's bsolute nonsence price for a parent looking to take on a young child! - £14!
It's pish and boring AF, save your 7 quid for a pint 😅
Lol
Speeding up all the footage you have of the coaster makes this video pointless
It's not lol 😆
Should have built a real one shame they think so small que for five ride for one! Should be the other way about really!
Shuv yer British union
Seconded.
Saor Alba!.
