Kind of good but Lin, being Taiwanese, is also a Chinese. Lin seems to have trouble against non-Chinese players.
Did they put on a show?! Or what?! Those volleys were insanely awesome!

Gaoyuan having a slight edge over Yun-ju, making the last 2-3 decisive points in a set, being more consistent and sharper
More unforced errors by Yun-Ju.
Even through Lin Yun Ju lost this match while he was 70% capability demonstrated due to the injury,LYJ was playing very well in this match against with LGY. I'm so proud of LYJ and look forward to his match with full capability and healthy status.

@@user-ep7dp1rf1y Those 70% might be an explanation to why the rallies got so long. LYJ could not directly convert his backhand flics as well. Very entertaining to watch tho
LYJ has mainly been dissapointing for almost 2 years since the Olympics ... Whatever the reasons are , the hope of him being a credible and permanent threat to team China has significantly diminished

@@hawnt2r It wasn`t because of the Draw. Only one chinese player was eliminated by Timo in early rounds. Then, Lin Gaoyuan, Wang Chuqin and Liang Jingkun were eliminated all by Fan Zhendong, who came up to win 4-0 in the final.
In the women's game, the 4 players in the semifinals were chinese.
@@megamasterblogs but still, medalists were not only chinese. Also, they didn't have such a dominantion in terms of a game. Wanv Chuqin was not nearly as strong as he is, and some foreigners had good chances to knock out Liang Jinkun. Also, the fact that China took Zhou Qihao just shows that they were lack of good candidates, and it is also indicator of non dominance. And do not forget the men's doubles, where Swedes got the gold medals, defeating whole asia, and strongest pair Wang Chuqin/Fan Zhendong

From a spectator point of view, this was not a very interesting match. Lightning fast backhand exchanges most of the time.
LGY is way more stronger and accurate than the little Lin. What an ass kicking victory!

@@HumbleBearcat LOL! LGY beats LYJ 6 times while LYJ beats LGY twice. Head to head battles until today, LGY is stronger than LYJ. Case is closed.
哎，昀儒怎么现在连林高远都打不过了..... 往后很难的啦
之前和林高遠的7次直接對話當中，林昀儒2勝5負處於劣勢
看不出來兩個今天臨場狀況差多少嗎…
林面对左手的对手总是不适应，他打樊振东反而都没有下风，都是打到最后关键球失分的。以后要多找左手将练习。
@@brianguan5601 樊振东跟谁打都是关键球，他的打法失误多，比分上拉不开差距，拿他比不合适
@@yunlu1000 林的正手最近两年进步很多，与高手中远台对拉也不落下风，估计是年龄曾长后力量上来了并且稳定度也提高了。很多时候他距超一流就差一口气。
