That's a spike on the Sorceror's Apprentice. Mine is so small because I bought a seedling, but they grow fairly quickly so I'm hoping in 18 months mine will bloom.
UA-cam got rid of email notifications so the only way you see if someone posted a new vid is to log on to YT and it shows in your notifications (sometimes). Dumb.
I have the distinct feeling the collection will get pared down (intentionally or unintentionally 🤐 ) when the little one comes along. Dang babies require a lot of care. 😉

Haha Michael... I have a feeling you might be right with that last statement!! My sorcerer's apprentice is one of my fastest growing orchids. If I keep up with the watering, it's also one of my easiest going too which is nice!
Interesting what YT is doing ... I get notifications about the most random videos on my phone now (usually it's news or something like this). Not of the channels I actually enjoy watching!

Good luck with the move, Deanna, on top of everything else on your plate! Moving while pregnant is ambitious and when it’s all set up before baby comes, it’ll be 👌. I did it backwards (house move-in was delayed and baby was early) so it was tough to move after the baby was already here 😂. With a grandchild on the way I doubt a few (well we think its only a few!) plants will worry your parents at all. Few months and the plants will be gone, quick hose down of that area and you will never know they had been there.
