Appreciate that Marcin! Been so many places with the new camera. I’m missing the drone being in the air. Too many protected and national places around me 😋
@@CodyCarr Nice that you are trying a new camera. Sometimes you have a drone in your backpack, but you can't use it. It's a pain for a traveler and a filmmaker, but keep your head up, don't worry, it's not the last great location.
@@CodyCarr Yeah…that was nuts how some were like stuffed between trees. Looks like it’s not so much of a secret though, as those vehicles were totally picked over. 😂 I was surprised to see screws hadn’t been taken. 😜
Yeah they had been picked apart for sure. Still cool though. But weird none the least. Like I said they look like they fell from the sky and stuck in place. Some of them were doubled over backwards
This stuff is incredible. I love this type of stuff. I do the same type of videos. I love the panel van. Problem here in arizona is most the stuff was pulled out recently when metal got big.
I’m from West Virginia and the same thing happened here. As soon as the metals shot up people came out of nowhere pulling the old cars apart and scrapping them. California by far had the most old vehicles I’ve ever seen in such good shape. Another thing in WV that the roads are salted in the winters because of all the snow and ice. The old vehicles you do find here are completely just eat up with rust. Sad sad
@@CodyCarr That's sad. I am surprised to see places even except these cars as scrap. We had huge fires here recently and it showed a lot of old cars and they're gone as well. Arizona used to have a huge amount as well up until recently they were all picked through. We have a place called the Benson wash it had around 70, cars in its canyon now it's around 30 or so cars as people have cut them up and such. What happen here is usually towns have sites where people dumped cars. Im sure there's a logging or a old road above the hill. Umpqua forest there is many spots like this as well my dad said what happen a lot (Worked for forest service 23yrs) People would dump there cars off forest roads usually in a spot well known. I remember a spot in myrtle creek that had 9 cars back to back down a hill.
That’s neat! I just love the looks of old vehicles. Each one has such different character to them. Cars today lack that character being that you can’t tell a Mercedes from a Hyundai 🤷♂️.
Hey Cody, really cool, and interesting place, , and so is the change in your channel. I like it, Great camera work, and vloging. You will do well on this platform , with your style of channel. I'll tell them I knew you when you were a small channel 😎 👍👍 Siskel & Ebert Hat's off
Wouldn't it be awesome to see that on the road again as a rat rod for everyone to admire I know what I'm doing this weekend going to put my skills to work

True that! 🤘
Great stuff pal! I loved the audio bleeding in early, slow-mo, and zoom work. Sweet edit! What a kooky car graveyard!
Had a blast. Love love old cars! It looked as if they just fell out of the sky to rest in that forest. Unreal!

So are you in Shasta County or in weed
Good question 🤔. I’m honestly not sure. I know it’s near Weed and Shasta Mountain.
