dude, this question bothers me alot : how in the hell they are moving and know where to move? they are just a couple of chemical compunds, nothing more (yes, i know they are organic compounds and stuff, but still they are just some atoms connected together), why are non-organic stuff not alive?
Because they are extreme complex, and over all, organised chemical machines. Organic molecules have very interesting properties. They can form really big and complex structures called polimeres that can have an almost infinite number of shapes. They work as the tiny mechanical pieces of the cell.
thatguy2377 But this is incredible, they all consist of the same chemical elements (which is Carbon, Hydrogen, Oxygen, Nitrogen, Sulfur, Phosphorus and that's pretty much it), but it all depends on what structure they have. It is like, we can take a DNA and compare it to some other acid, even any amino acid - they consist of similar chemical elements, but DNA forms chromosomes, which can decide what we will be like, and others can just be there and play some nutritional role for our organism. This is what i am amazed of.
Unless you are satisfied with the "hur dur god did it" answers, there is hours of reading to be done even if you don't study it, merely interested. Simple and compressed answer is: they don't know, it's just the only way things can happen. At the core of biology is chemistry and physics. All the molecules and their physical features (such as size, mass, surface area, number of electrons etc) are the environment itself and they affect each other. If you tried to think of other things a cell theoretically could do during any biological process, you will run into explanations why those wouldn't happen.
haha, for a second I almost thought the background music was also the classical music I'm currently listening to. Don't mind the people calling it "creepy", I suppose they're just unfamiliar with beautiful, classical music
bruh, it’s not creepy because it’s classical music. it’s the combination of the fuzzy, unclear, unexpected music of what to most is unfamiliar. it’s creepy.

Nicholas678ful Okay so how far are you into your genetics now? It seems it hasn't helped you realize that she never said God made the microscopes to see this stuff; she thinks God made the organisms. And Crick, Watson, Flemming, or any other scientist you can name did not make these organisms. You should let yourself grow up a bit more before being enraged at someone over the internet, it just makes you look like you have to hate someone for a very dumb reason. And if you despise this commenter I can't imagine what religion you are. Hate someone who is doing harm to the world instead of someone innocently showing their faith.
eh, this is one of the reasons why I believe in God even less. But honestly, I can see what you mean. It is a beautiful video, and it makes me love this world even more. Everyone can enjoy this, religious people and non-religious ones!
The creepy music playing in the background just make this better
Sounds like the end of The Shining
It’s classical music
Oooh increíble!!!
Which type of microscope did you use? It looks like electronic microscopy, but you can't do live electronic microscopy
Horrific sound 😨
I think it's george gershwin piano concerto in f playing in the background?
awesomest thing ever seen in my life.....😍😍😍mind blown

It's creepy for me as tripophobic person, but I love to learn more about it.

It's because life does not happen by chance. Life was CREATED. What tells these cells to do what they do? A creator.

Is this is video by JPH on display at the Melbourne Museum?
What type of cells are these? Is this process Meiosis? I am not too sure...it looks like to me Mitosis.
Video from 00:29 shows shorter chromosomes and two cells dividing (dyad) and later at 00:56 a tetrad is formed
