It was pretty brave of him to do this because this pushed his younger voice to the limits of his range in 1971. So it's no surprise this is one of the songs of his past that he's going to struggle with.

it's great that he sings his old hits... but he could have gone for vocal coaching to get him some higher registers.... not "goodbye yellow brick road" highs... but this he could have done

I was in cruising in my 1969 Camero on a warm summer evening in 1972 with Madman playing on my 8 track...love this album.

Wonder why he's so scared to hit some higher notes. He does it a couple times seemingly by accident and it sounds like he has no trouble doing it!
