I have a theory. I think “grotesquerie” is the group of men. If you look at them almost everyone we recognize within the group, they have something to do with Lois.
I have no theories as to where it's going, but I have noticed that most of the characters start with the letter M, and I'm wondering if that means anything. Merritt, Marshall, Maisie, May (Marshall's now deceased student), Mayhew, Megan, McKall (Glorious)
lois said ding ding ding couple of times loud and clear and gets full shot of her up close saying it..i think lois is being hypnotized...megan might be former nun working close to charlie..charlie offered to be kill maybe in last episode since lois is doubting Charlie...charlie feared something might be exposed thinking lois in a coma state wouldnt hear anything. Megan will take up the new mantle ..xD just my 2 cents though..ryan Murphy might put a spin to things
@filmfugitives yes..because every character in her dream that has a job somehow has different roles in current reality...for example Redd was the nurse attending to Marshall but got replace by Charlie ..eddie,old lady that drives lois around forget her name..etc but only the nun and priest doesnt show up or have any characters to represent these 2 roles..
@@Remy-TCG yes, but these people could also be a part of Lois' real life (both personal and professional), and she might be using the same face and the same characters for her coma dreams.
I think Charlie brought Lois out of her need for a respirator, but she is now breathing on her own,and feels more empowered as her mind is not dependent on the respirator (Charlie), or her family, which means her job will be her focus. Her family and coworkers had to sign agreements about her coma dream studies,so she will be examining this. Crazy ending though...
If someone is hallucinating her savior to be crucified in most brutal manner then it is always going to be a problem for the real world, symbolic or not. For a troubled mind like Lois, nothing can be done except for giving her the treatment she requires, but Lois is a narcist who believe nothing is wrong with her and such people cannot be saved.
in that case, she sent her disloyal husband, Ed, to convince her father, become a part of the cult she has been running? Well, quite stretched. I guess, the closest possibility i can perceive from Mexicali group is that it could be the cult that was mentioned in the newspaper. But again, few police officers were a part of the group and then it doesn't make sense for some law enforcers to openly participating in underground meetings. It is quite unreliable.
@ 1. It’s Ryan Murphy🤷🏾♀️…I’ve watched enough years of AHS to have some semblance of how twisted things can get and 2. Merritt only interacts with the one doctor - he’s always mentioning her education. Also I would have to go back and watch what she was teaching in her class. in my theory she’s telling the doctor what to have the guys do but they don’t know a woman is behind it. Just theories though, always fun to speculate
its confusing but also redundant, there is so much religious imagery they should have used something entirely different for the last mise en scène, mixing a crucifixion with the last supper is just dumb. trails of clues go nowhere, don't know who still has any interest should there be a second season.
Explained. I can " explain" it for you. This was a total waste of time and one of the worst series in recent memories i have watched. Erratic storytelling, weird combo of both underacting and overacting from the cast. This was pure crap.

There was no real story, just twists with no reason. Crazy, chaos, nasty and mean. 😳🙄
I love Ryan Murphy's work, but this show has me baffled.

Ryan "Murphy" also :D

So this means, you still belive that Lois first come dreams were true? But didn't she get herself killed in that?

There is no season 2 and both Lois and her hubby are both in comas, each of their perspectives are shown in different halves of the season
The producers announced there will be a season 2
@ when was that! Ryan said right before the finale that there wasn’t going to be one. I’m happy if it happens though.
Wait that was the final 😩😩 i really thought we had more to go wtf Ryan you did this with delicate and that was a flop 😮
There could be a 2nd season. Calm down.
If we have to wait a year for another season I'm not wasting my time.
Season 2 would be titled, "Another go, to the Coma Dreams."
I believe Lois is under hypnosis because before she shot her partners husband he said you always was a wake and you can't kill me.

Merritt is still a suspect too. She may be using the Mexicali group to get back at Lois in a way

Dumb dumb dumb. You can't twist that much and expect people to keep investing their time. Bail.

Started great but last 3 episodes made it fall flat
It sucked
I think she’s in a vegetated state, and this is all happening in her mind.
