This is a great video describing a filipina.. Thank you Dr laway for this wonderful video.. As a filipina yes its true,, we are very loving, caring and simple.. We love to take care of our family and to be the best wife for our husband.. But yes not all filipina are nice but still most of filipina are still in this attitudes. I always see a filipina as a loving, caring person,we don't easily give up . .I believe when we love,we love with true heart, thank you for appreciating us,this helps us boost our morale despite what is happening around,I always believe there are good filipinas, you just need to be more vigilant and know well the filipina you are dating...
Filipinas indeed make excellent wives if you have a lot of patience, an open mind, a healthy since of adventure, a calm and collected demeanor (think test pilot or astronaut), and a good understanding of her culture and norms, history, and language. A big fat prescription for Valium or Clonapin (for you, not her) will help.
I had an american BF who I spoke for 3 years over chat before he came to the Philippines, however I had spotted some redflags when we met and even after his visit. I decided to break up with him. Many years after I saw his profile on FB and he is divorced and looks pretty wasted. I'm convinced I made the right decision.
Thank God that you vetted him well and found those red flag. I'm afraid that many will miss those red flags and many men will have issues, some that are tolerable and others that are impossible. Be especially keen at recognizing narcissists become they are the worst of all and sometimes hard to detect. Consider how many filters the guy has made it through such as their education, their job, what kind of family he comes from, if he has long term friends, etc. Is he a Christian? Can he do introspection and moral reasoning. If he can't self reflect, its probably a narcissist or something weird. Both me and my son have Filipina wives that we met in our mid twenties in the states, so that normal dating was easy. This is a perfect match for both us. Both of us are Engineers and met our wives, right out of college (followed in my footsteps). Those IT and Engineering majors don't have that much time to date in college and when they graduate, there's few eligible women left. Finding a Filipina champ wife is like a dream and the success accumulates over the years, because of it. Making the right match through a lot of vetting is critical.
Nice description of a local Filipina…not true with the ones raised in the USA. Yes, we are loyal to our husbands. Every Filipina have different life experiences…just like Americans. The big difference is that Filipinas are unique and special in their own way. You have the timid and shy. You also have the strong-willed ones! Or the ones in between… Overall, we are special! We have our own traits…just one of a kind! Thank you for sharing your opinion. ♥️💞☕️💃
Melody is right. The ones raised in the U.S. tend to be a bit soaked up in U.S. culture, as you would expect. A surefire recipe for problems. We've been married 18 years, my wife is from the province and I married her in PHP, and we visit the "homeland" at least 2 times per year. I'm really quite lucky!
Melody, Every human on the planet is one of a kind. Yet, Filipinas are a special breed. I love a strong willed woman as long as she loves me and God with all her heart. I don't wish to dominate anyone. But I want her to be submitted to the will of God. Lots of Filipinas think they serve God yet know very little about Him. Most can not not tell you a single bible verse. But a strong willed filipina who knows Jesus and what He did for us, then she is a keeper for sure.
@Lolo Ermie Tanyo Filipinas have a tendency to save face which means they lie a lot. I never said I wanted a girl who memorizes bible verses, I said I wanted a girl who truly loves God. A girl who does not lie to safe face. It is a major character flaw to automatically lie. It is flaw many Filipinas have. And I don't want a girl with that flaw. If she truly loves God, she will strive to have her heart changed to be more like Him instead of people like you who try to find fault.
I met an American on line. We have known each other for 7 years. We were friends for 4 years and took things seriously for 3 years but I soon found out that his Filipino wife was still alive then, but was in a Nursing Home having dementia. He told me he was single but actually, he was already finding a replacement for her as she was dying. I also found out that their was another Filipina he was also getting involved with from Bulacan. I just discovered that he was just a womaniser when I had him investigated through a friend of mine who was in the U. S. He made up most of the information he told me through the years. You just can't trust on line relationships these days. It is often better if you were introduced to someone who also knows the other foreigner then get to know one on line. There are those that get lucky but that's very rare.
Last year lang yung asawa nya namatay. Pinag sabihan namin yung Pinay na linoloko nya pero ayaw maniwala kasi na kuha na yung damdamin nya ng lalaki dahil palagi yung lalaking foreigner binibigyan yung babae ng mga branded na kagamitan at saka pera. Wala akong hini-ngi na pera o anu mang bagay sa kanya in the number of years na nagkarelasyon kami pero niloko nya ako.

You’re right Dr. Laway. We just had a broken French door, my husband told me not to touch it cuz he’ll call a fixer and left for work when he came back it’s already fixed so we saved some money and probably cost us $150-200. We’re good of bargaining too, we just purchased a Can Am and my husband was willing to pay for the full price when he called the dealership but before we left the house I told him to just listen and shut up. To make the story short I deal with the owner and asked all the discounts that you can’t even imagine and gave $5,000 discount for the brand new toy. At the end the owner told everyone including my husband that she likes me and made her laugh.
I appreciate your input on marrying us , Filipinas, it indeed all true! Although there are Filipinas who came out as evil, just like with other nationalities who are considered "bad eggs" of the society!
I can imagine brother once upon a time United States is also the same, traditional nuclear family. till US culture shifts towards, individualistic and consumerism culture. While in the Philippines, we are not there yet. hopefully we can preserve our traditional family centered culture.
Was a time in the US that the "Man" could work and provide for the "Family" and allowed the "Wife" to be the "Homemaker". Companies paid living wages, had "Pensions" and the retirement age was 55. The high inflation of the 70's, double what it is now, eroded that structure to where 2 incomes were required to obtain the ideal lifestyle, or even just make ends meet. Globalization and US Tax Policies encouraged Offshoring of the Manufacturing base, so added pressure to the "Traditional" roles so our society evolved. It has been a Socioeconomic change driving the "Social" changes as much as anything else, in my opinion. It didn't just happen overnight. As the Philippines is far behind other Asian nations in "Modernization", which is obvious when looking at the Banking, Government systems, Infrastructure, and the like, you can say it's more like how the US was 60-70 years ago.
@@bigjohnson7415 we are currently different from our asian neighbor, but behind? its debatable. everything really is about perspective and values. For me everything in life is about balance and harmony. you might be advance and one thing but there will always be a trade off in one thing. Take for example in the USA, like you said, in the post ww2 you have decided to be the leader in economic and political sphere to enjoy the previlege and comfort you enjoy today. but the trade off is that you have surrendered your family values and individual freedom to a centralized entity.
@@joseryanquiatchon7330 That is true, just a perspective of development, infrastructure, manufacturing and such. Lack of computerization in Governmental processes, access to banking and widespread use of cards for shopping as other more developed countries are. No shade intended, as most people probably don't have wage levels nor probably trust in banking systems requiring a checking/debit/savings/credit infrastructure. Having a mostly cash society precludes adoption of more "Western" forms of commerce. It's very similar to how the US was probably up till the 1960's. Protecting the "Ownership" of property is a good thing, as it keeps the "Western" countries from buying up the country, which is a good thing, otherwise the cost of living wouldn't be as affordable. Don't want to ruin a good thing, for sure. Doesn't mean some improvements with some/more levels of western cooperation would help the society as a whole.
socialism/communism infiltrated the universities, then the churches. now we have drag queens playing with children in schools and libraries at taxpayer expense. KGB defector Yuri Bezmenov described how the process of destabilization was implemented.
Thank you so much sir for all the nice things you said about the filipina women. You are very, very right. I am a filipina & my husband was an American man. We were married for 40 years until he passed away last year at the age of 87. I was working in the states for 34 years & after I retired in 2016 my husband & I moved to the Philippines.
Agree with the cleverness. I once gave bottles of coke to burly US army guys sans bottle opener coz we couldn't find any. I assumed they would figure out a way to uncap them. To my surprise the Coke was refused coz they didn't know how. So I, female and only a fourth of their bulk, took the bottles, uncapped them with a tried and tested method of striking the cap top while it is lodged against the edge of a hard surface. Then I gave them back to the surprised guys.
Thank you for sharing to us, I'm watching here in USA and I'm glad you talked about Filipina woman , and people here in USA talk about Filipina woman are gold diggers.... very well said I love ❣️❤️❣️ Philippines!!!!
My wife is from Trinidad bohol Philippines 🇵🇭 and she's very good at helping me keep the most important things in life balanced. This is something that all the American women I dated lack and this makes them worthless and undesirable.
@@bpe9578 It doesn't matter what you think or how you feel because I really don't care about how disrespectful disgusting and dysfunctional you are. Only women of your type live in the Man-Sphere looking for a final fight before you get consumed by your own karma.
Thank you for the insight. Still learning about Filipina. Yes, you correct 💯 about American Women. Somewhere along the line American Women decided they didn't need men anymore, and wanted to be put on a pedestal (I believe it's the American culture). And if were lucky enough to get a date with a American Women, or even Marry a American Women you would have to (date the same age) be extremely good looking, wealthy or famous. What I'm saying is true. I think 🤔 older Men don't see a future here in America with a younger woman, and not to mention it's looked down upon (older men with younger women) here in America. American society in general want's older men to date their own age. The majority of the society here in America wants older men to do what they say, not what an older man wants.

Spot on. Filipina women enters a marriage without thinking of divorce in the future. They dive in and give themselves 100%. Of course everyone is different. But the cultural thinking of being in a committed relationship gives the relationship longevity.

Hey brother. I did a K1 Visa. I am being frustrated with how long I’ve wait is. I submitted it in the beginning of July 2022.do you think I will have to wait much longer for the fiancé interview?
Yes you have a long wait to go. Depends on what processing center you were assigned, but most applications currently being processed for NOA2 are from October and November of 2021. My guess is you are still waiting for that, then it will be turned over to the Department of State
The Philippines and U.S.A is quite different culture , Filipinas is more functual to their husband compared to a ladies from the West, these base on my experience abroad .
You're so funny. Most philipinas have never seen a clothes dryer growing up. However, you are correct they're good problem solvers, and they can easily detect any defects on just about everything.

I hope you bow the knee to Him in this life so you can enjoy the Creator of the universe. I mean I didn't pay attention at first because I have bigger problems, but it seems like it should be a conversation that Filipinas should be having to hopefully reject. We don't need the bad men coming here also.

Filipinas have girly bodies even at old age. Filipinas are like Girl Scouts, they are always ready to solve or to fix, one way or the other if there is something to fix or when challenges come. Filipinas are comparatively honest compared to other Asians. Filipinos in general are hard working, give them a job and they'll do it right and they're happy working with a stable employment.
Howdy doc. I’m a new subscriber here and so far I like your style. I have had an online relationship with a Filipina for close to eight years nowShe is a separated mother of four, the youngest being 12 and the oldest 21. Her husband lives separately with his concubine and illegitimate daughter. We have been desperately waiting for reform in the current laws which diminish women and turn a blind eye to dead- beats that abandon their wives and children. We have sought all angles to resolve the issue without pursuing the tedious and mostly unsuccessful annulment process. Without a doubt, everything in this regard needs to be treated with kid gloves, including the immigration and foreign divorce prospect. Before I go on, I was wondering if you were in any position to offer insights or assistance in our plight? I don’t expect a free ride, just honesty from a fellow admirer of the Filipina. Thanks so much Hoss.

Thank you! I think its best to live in the Asian womans country if you can, and therefore maintain the better culture, in most Asian counties, that she is already in.
Godbless and more power to your channel 💕.
Proud Filipina here and a Filipina grew up in Province of Ilocos.Thank you for the copliments Dr.Laway.
My wife is from Bohol she is such a wonderful woman I couldn't ask for anything more.
Hi , I just wanted to say thank you for all advice, also I love videos 😁
Glad you like them!
Thank you for the good words for us Filipina..I am married to a Korean/US Citizen and he said he cannot do good without me😊
I had an american BF who I spoke for 3 years over chat before he came to the Philippines, however I had spotted some redflags when we met and even after his visit. I decided to break up with him. Many years after I saw his profile on FB and he is divorced and looks pretty wasted. I'm convinced I made the right decision.
You can talk to me, I have red flags, but I'm sober and not divorce 😂.
@Lolo Ermie Tanyo adopted po ako ng tita ko na nagasawa ng kanong baliw. So hindi ako kasal sa kano.
@@MelodysKitchen she got you Lolo.
After he lost u it was over
Thank you so much Sir, for this video about us Filipinas!
I think because of all the hardships we've been through, we became flexible, creative and resourceful. We use our common sense a lot.
Even though I never have been married to a pinay, I have had pinay girlfriends. 100 % agree. :-) :)
They are habitual gossipers
Nice description of a local Filipina…not true with the ones raised in the USA. Yes, we are loyal to our husbands. Every Filipina have different life experiences…just like Americans. The big difference is that Filipinas are unique and special in their own way. You have the timid and shy. You also have the strong-willed ones! Or the ones in between…
Overall, we are special!
@@99awindy You are a blessed man
Melody, Every human on the planet is one of a kind.
Na-experience ko din yan sa german na lalaki naman. May ibang babae pa pala syang kausap.
Yes sir, you are educating me, and I think the whole world needs you, “GOD” bless you always in a very special way
Hi doc.
Yes I truly agree with you. I am a filipina I've been joining diffrent dating site but unluckily haven't found the one for me. Hopefully someone who reading this comment your the man I'm looking for. Let's get to know each other. Godbless and thank you😊
While not everyone is good (or bad), but that goes in any country, you will know if you found a keeper. If you do, appreciate it, reciprocate and life will be a lot better
@Lolo Ermie Tanyo wow, calling people names. Do you even understand what my Main point was?
Indeed!!!
@@bigjohnson7415 yeap.... tools of control
socialism/communism infiltrated the universities, then the churches. now we have drag queens playing with children in schools and libraries at taxpayer expense. KGB defector Yuri Bezmenov described how the process of destabilization was implemented.
Wonderful advice and point of view. Thank you very much!!!
Awesome video and great topic .
Then I gave them back to the surprised guys.
haha.thats how i open my bottled coke...who needs opener.theres so many hard edges around😂😂😂
thanks for your thoughts about filipina woman,I'm proud of being Filipina woman..God blessed you more!❤️❤️🙏🙏
My mom who is not a handyman fixes household electrical problems. Her White lincensed plumber husband brags about her skill.

Western media will do anything to obstruct good wholesome, heterosexual relationships.
Yes , status means a lot to them and also habitual gossipers
Yes that's true my Grand parents are Spanish ! They came to the Philippines and they got married there..Now their Grand children we know everything
My wife is from Trinidad bohol Philippines 🇵🇭 and she's very good at helping me keep the most important things in life balanced. This is something that all the American women I dated lack and this makes them worthless and undesirable.
aaoocchh😢
It's not fair to judge millions and millions of American women by the few with whom you've had a bad relationships with.

The majority of the society here in America wants older men to do what they say, not what an older man wants.
i married my wife 32 years ago she is the best thing in my life she takes great care of me in good times and bad great mom also very very family oriented
IT IS SO NICE OF YOU TO HAVE HIGH RESPECT OF OUR FILIPINACULTURE,UPBRINGING AND SO ON...

I've been with my LDR for 3 years. It's been a long time waiting. Hope the little doc is recovering nicely. Thanks again for the insight.
You are a fool sir, remember that house you build will not be in your name, why build a house and its not your's, one day when she gets tired of you she will show you the door, don't be so ignorant like many foreigners who were scammed, you may be next, better you rent than buy property here.
Thanks he is doing great!
Spot on. Filipina women enters a marriage without thinking of divorce in the future. They dive in and give themselves 100%. Of course everyone is different. But the cultural thinking of being in a committed relationship gives the relationship longevity.
Thank you Atty.very informative
Hahaha...simple , responsible and loving person ...that's makes a Filipina...choose one like them not the other side of a Filipina who collects your money in exchange for love..Choose wisely Sir... just friendly advice. Enjoy your stay here
This gives me hope 🤞🤞
I've watched several of your videos. This is one of your top videos....
Thank you for saying good words to all filipina like me.
My guess is you are still waiting for that, then it will be turned over to the Department of State
Hi bro . Wishing all the best here in Philippines
The Philippines and U.S.A is quite different culture , Filipinas is more functual to their husband compared to a ladies from the West, these base on my experience abroad .
Good stuff.

Hello sir your video is awesome
Hey, thanks!
That’s easy it means being cared for and appreciated
You're so funny. Most philipinas have never seen a clothes dryer growing up. However, you are correct they're good problem solvers, and they can easily detect any defects on just about everything.
I'm married to a wonderful Filipina I met at UBC in Vancouver while we were both pursuing graduate studies. We’ve been together for several years now and are blessed with a beautiful daughter. We have ups and downs in our relationship but can transcend them thru an open line of communication. I have no problem with her but don't know if she has one with me.😀😀😀
Exactly one reason I chose a philipina wife❤
Lol, do NOT throw flour on a fire. It will make the fire worse. Use baking powder

One day you will bow the knee, not before the universe but before the one who made the universe. His name is Jesus. I hope you bow the knee to Him in this life so you can enjoy the Creator of the universe. But if not, give it your best shot in the next life explaining to the Creator how He was less important than His creation.
I wonder what my husband think of this? 😂😂😂 i met him in the United States but Im still a traditional filipina at heart.
My God this is incredible I love a Filipino wife
My kuya, who is in America living his best life, we are half-American and born and raised in the Philippines, has been telling me about all of this with the women in the Americas. I mean I didn't pay attention at first because I have bigger problems, but it seems like it should be a conversation that Filipinas should be having to hopefully reject. We don't need the bad men coming here also.
Well this is two years old. I live in Philippines 7 years, and at the mall here is the same as Walmart, and the traditional are the lesser of the two. Tattoo, body piercing, daisy duke, everywhere, in 10 years are less you seen different from usa and Philippines

where can we get info on getting my Filipina to the US ?
Every man in this world should marry a phillipino.they are slim.and hard working.
Thanks so much Hoss.
love your insight. Thank you for sharing.
Do NOT throw flower on a fire. Flower is extremely combustible and throwing flower on a grease fire can cause an explosion.
