Neon gravestones its one of my favorite off of trench
Chlorine is really good from Twenty One Pilots as well
grandson!!!! WWIII and fallin' (temptation)
Montana of 300 - Lebron James
React to screen by TØP Tyler has an insane flow in the middle
Knox Hill you impress me every time. What are you calling this? A breakdown? Full analysis? I call it a dissection. Man, you really caught all the layers, all the lore, and back story references. Yes, very impressive. Always a treat. Thanks!
sometimes i forget how good knox is at breaking down bars 🔥
Beside the fact he thinks the vulture is bad.
1000%
@Pac_Appl21
Thanks negative Nancy…sure glad you were here to “correct” a person’s comment that was meant to be a genuinely nice compliment which was based on their personal “opinion”! As that’s exactly what we need nowadays… that one douche who feels the need to interject when people are trying to be positive!
But like seriously tho…why!? Please enlighten me over here my dude?🤨😅🤷♀️
"Tyler can rap?" you gotta go through their discography lol. Especially their older shit
eh stuff like be concerned don't really help with that lol
Ode to sleep is worth checking out
but not too old 😂😂😂
Man's gotta listen to anathema and regional at best in general, has he not heard heavydirtysoul?
@@jasongarfitt1147 oh yeah this is incredible
Now you need to see the "Saturday" and "The Outside" music videos to finally be caught up!
"Morph", "Bandito", "Leave the City" and "No Chances" are also a few other songs that tie in with the Dema story.
"Heathens" music video also has references to Trench and "Chlorine" video introduces a character you'll meet again later.
There is also Chlorine
Heathens too? He's got the same cut on his nose in Heathens, Jumpsuit, and The Outside. Plus the potential reference in NatN regarding forcing a sponsor, and Tyler's wearing a yellow coat for awhile.
ALso some of the older songs like fall away or johnny boy
@@link1fan142 Fall away is one of my favorites
I think he got to watch Chlorine and the hype before Saturday
Levitate is track 2 on Trench - but also Stressed Out is track 2 on Blurryface - so it could be him wanting people to know all his music comes from his mind eventhough some has become mainstream
You can hear how Tyler starts to doubt himself later in the song with song structure, etc - and of course that part is at night - then he eventually gets snatched back up by Nico to restart the cycle
Definitely need to do more of them!
God he's such a genius I love Tyler
After this trilogy, there’s some other cool songs on the album, some great tracks are Chlorine, Pet Cheetah, Morph, and Bandito. After that, the main story gets carried on over to the next album, Scaled and Icy, which is short for ‘Scaled back and isolated.’ Narratively, the album is propaganda for Dema that they forced the band to make. They’ve released three music videos that continue the story, which are Choker, Saturday, and The Outside, in that order. However, I would also recommend listening to Bounce Man, No Chances, and Redecorate. Bounce Man now ties in heavily with The Outside because of the music video, and No Chances, and Redecorate are two of the best written songs on the album, both being bat heavy. Redecorate is also important because Tyler has said that song will set the tone for what to expect for the music on their next album, which will conclude the DEMA storyline.
neon gravestones and leave the city are also super good songs from trench
Do you know where he said the next album will be in similar vibe to redecorate?
Honestly, as a HUGE tøp fan, I would appreciate the HELL out of you if you made a whole series breaking down their music. There is only one other person on here (nalbis) that does it as well as you do and he hasn't hasn't uploading too much of anything about twenty one pilots' newest album, Scaled and Icy, and I've been DYING to experience some deep diving into their lore and discussions about mental health. It's truly interesting, eye opening, and just honestly mesmerizing how artistic that band is...and it's SO cool to watch people break it all down like you do. Please do more!!! 😊😊😊
Yes, it IS the second track on the album. It’s right after Jumpsuit. Great breakdown Knox.
TØP is so good at just piling on the layers of meaning within a song. Glad you caught the reference to Car Radio 👍🏻. Have an awesome rest of your week! ❤️✌🏻
Chlorine mv would be useful too before the outside just give ned a bit of context but I totally agree
Oh my gosh after all these years since trench dropped I finally have an answer I’m satisfied with for the “a curse from You is all I need” line, I never quite new what he meant by that, but I think you are right, because you’re idea lines up with the meaning of” Implicit Demand For Proof,” off of their self titled album.
God how I wish you'd react to all their tracks xD
Great breakdown as always and I hope you check out more of them soon! Also go back through some of their older tracks, they're amazing as well.
I can't stop watching Knox for how quickly he can pick up the artist's intent on any type of music. I almost have to watch him dissect my favorite songs because he catches EVERYTHING.
for reaal
Their new album is apparently propaganda from Dema and the Bishops which is why it sounds quite a bit different and happier but if you listen to them in that way you hear more dark undertones. I love this part about their music. Tyler is a genius
I absolutely would love more TOP reactions!
Please, please, react to neon gravestones from twenty one pilots. It's an incredible message and I would love to see your thoughts on it.
All I can say is that there is NO-ONE doing breakdowns on the level of Knox Hill, the absolute GOAT!!!
thank you @knoxhill
for finishing the trilogy
you made a 2 min song
a 20 min commentary
which it deserves and also by the way
the e in dema sounds more like tree than egg
👊
You blueballed us hard when you paused before releasing Levitate. I knew how amazing it was and knew you'll love it
Great reaction as always. You caught all of the levels and metaphors. It’s really cool to see a reactor go in depth with the music and lyrics themselves.
My son will be 17 in March. He introduced me to twenty one pilots. I was stoked to hear this album. This track as the younger generation says is a "banger" .so many good songs in this album, hard to describe the nostalgia in the music format but this one hits hard - love it!! One of my favorites from a 45 year old lady 😂❤
been waiting for this! thanks for taking your time to finish these!
Niiiiice Knox! Wait for this video! Thanks! ❤️
Oh man, I've been waiting for this one for a long time and stupid UA-cam didn't send me a notification when it dropped, but it was still worth the wait! Awesome breakdown. I literally cheered when you caught the Car Radio reference and love your thoughts on the curse line. I know it's not your primary audience, but there are definitely people who will show up hard for TOP if you have time and are interested to do more!
Time to listen to "Morph", "Saturday" and "The Outside" by T.O.P
scaled and icy is such an underrated album
@@GnatGames real
Yesss!! I've been waiting for more Twenty One Pilots! Love the reactions ❤
I just commented how I wanted u to do this!! Because I knew it would be amazing.❤ U are very good at interpreting their stuff. Would love to see u dissect Morph
Excellent breakdown! Thanks for sharing
Stellar reaction, Knox! Such a wonderful dissection, thoroughly impressed, as always, with the layers and references you catch. So down for you to do more TOP as I'm sure the Clique would be, too. Def worth the time and TOP doesn't disappoint, as you have come to appreciate. Their older stuff is great and shows the level of talent Tyler had and their stuff today marks their evolution. Exponential. The body of work is so rich and deep, so many directions simultaneously. Def would LOVE to see more TOP dissections from Knox Hill! Been anxiously waiting to watch your TOP journey... 💛💙💛
Holy crap you broke this down so well! I didn’t know half the stuff till you said it. I’ll have to keep checking back for more TOP.
Let's go i have been waiting for another Twenty one pilots video
I've been waiting for you to get to this one Knox! 😎
Hot damn this took a long minute! Been waiting for this all year!
You should watch the concert version! Blurryface is coming when he says "wait"
Really though, he should watch a live version with his own eyes lol
Absolutely epic day! My 2 favorite artists get a reaction on the same day 🙏🏼
Would love some more nf and 21pilots
ahhhh i've been waiting for this one :))
“Your structure compensates, but compensation feels a lot like rising up to dominate by track 2”
I really love this line - it’s a double entendre for compensation, in terms of making compensations with your music to please others, but also, the track 2 reference is pointing to Stressed Out (track 2 on BlurryFace) and how the song went ballistic popularly and really boosted their sales and brought in the $$$.
Now you need to watch the newest parts of the story Saturday and The Outside!!
you have godly lyric breakdown skills
Great job bud! I’ll be able to play with my friends 7/19/23 in Milwaukee!
Great reaction and breakdown as always! There are some more cool songs from Trench that you may like: Bandito, Neon Gravestones, The Hype, Leave the City, and Chlorine. If you wanna continue the DEMA storyline they've set up, I recommend the following. Chlorine, Shy Away, Choker, Saturday, and The Outside. These all have mv that tie into the storyline. I also think you'd enjoy alot of the tracks from Scaled and Icy (the most recent album they have) if you're interested in listening to more from them!
Yeah I take the look on his face at the end as being consigned to going back. The trilogy plus heavy dirty soul are a circle. He escapes, he goes back, escape again etc. That's shown in the Nico and the Niners video...he has a drawer full of flowers meaning it's not the first time he's escaped and gone back.
finally Ive been waiting for so long
I think the orange represents a blend, balance, or a conflict between the yellow and red, the red coming from Dema/Nico and the yellow - his creativity, which might be Blurryface, and then using what the red symbolises to create (yellow)...like the two coming together and balancing which gives him purpose and motivation
Even the blend of his normal vocals with the demonic voice might go with the meaning of the orange
You absolutely need to react to more, his old music is so amazing and I’d love to see you react to the lyrics. Anyways I appreciate you so much ❤
Such a good video
KNOX !!! I love your reactions! Your knowledge blows my mind.. it’s insane how many bars you catch and things you break down to make everyone understand.
You should check out Montana of 300 for bars. I would love to hear you react to and break his songs down. Chiraq remix, Lebron James, Rap God, the list goes on..
The haunting noise at the very end is actually Tyler’s voice extremely pitched up saying “ We are Banditos” kinda holding each word
It's about time Knox. I've been recommending Levitate for a long time.
I think you’d really enjoy analyzing Implicit Demand For Proof or Addict With A Pen by Twenty One Pilots
WOOT! MORE TØP, KNOX! 🙏
ESTABA ESPERANDO ESTO AAA, me encanta levitate
Nice reaction
I love your twenty one pilots breakdowns better than any other. Please just go through their discography
Finally so hyped
We need more Trench reactions!!!
Hi i love your breakdowns especially the ones abuot nf but i was wondering if we can get a setup tour of your youtube studio please
Been asking for so long lmao
Twenty one pilots-chlorine.. breakdown needed professor Knox Hill !!!
You're the first one I heard mention the two lampstands...been feeling this for quite awhile...any others?
I'd love to see you react to some of their older stuff like Self Titled, Regional At Best, and No Phun Intended.
also his brothers music, Zack Joesph.
HeavyDirtySoul has some good flows in it too
He did that one a while ago 🙂
Love the work
more twenty one pilots songs please❤️
This song also refers to the music industry I think the vultures represent many things, one of which is the vultures of the music industry. They also bought themselves out of a record label contract, the only album produced under it was blurryface, then we had a hiatus & they got creative freedom back. Circle back to lane boy & it all makes sense.
Hey Knox!! By the point you made about doubt... I remembered they have a song called Doubt!! Purely different and classy.. might check it out.. might not get them awesome amount of views though! But still once old twenty one pilots!
The intro perfectly matches up with the end of jumpsuit, and if you listen to a physical copy of the album you dont even hear the transition, and in the music videos the jumpsuit mv ends with shaved head Tyler and the levitate video starts with Tyler shaving his head.
one of the best rappers today
You definitely have to check out Coast Contra
Nice reaction. One thing tho, it is called DEma (like tree) not Dayma.
finally😑😑❤️some twenty onr pilots again
I think it's even more straight forward with the 8-line. He says "wait" on the 8 of that count.
1 - chorus, 2 - verse, 3 - chorus, 4 - verse, 5 - NowHere, 6 - ComesThe, 7 - eight, 8-wait. With emphasis on the 8th.
Maybe we're talking about the same thing but I've never heard of "the middle 8" before, that was just one bar in a 8/8 time signuature song :) But I'm also just a regular musician, not a rapper so idk.
Whats up Knox! I think we need some more Tech N9Ne! "Like I aint" is a banger and a instant Tech classic
With what you were saying at 19:29 till 19:50 it made me think of that line in migraine "'Cause sometimes to stay alive
You gotta kill your mind" mabye he knows hes got to lose and give into dema somewhat before he can win and beat them?
Handlez McGee/ High off life freestyles #53 & #71
Yeaaaaaaahhhhh !!!!!!!
Ode to sleep is still one of my top favorites by TOP.
you should do tragic ending by em and skylar grey off revival. i personally think its a good song and i dont know if you’ve heard it, i think it would be a great reaction
Need to do reaction on Implicit Demand of Proof, Fall Away, The Pantaloon, Addict With A Pen, March To The Sea! 🔥 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Finally!!!
And Dude… you gotta catch up with Scaled and Icy videos… the newest one is a continuation of this story line… but before you move to Scaled and Icy videos, you gotta watch Chlorine video from the trench album.
hello Knox i love your content and i whould love if you reacted to one of my favorite songs. it is also the outro for the anime called Jujutsu kaisen the songs name is, ALI - LOST IN PARADISE feat. AKLO MV
More twenty one pilots🔥🔥
You need to react to, Ode To Sleep 🖤🖤🖤
20:00 yesssss he did give up a part of him self to move on because in the last vid nico and the niners they say “we’ll win but not everyone will get out, oh no” they ended up winning in the end, but not every piece of him. He had to give up one part of himself/battle to win the war in the end.
Hello Knox wanted to know if you will ever do more TØP, maybe neon gravestones.
I'd personally recommend reacting to all the LEC raps, mediocre rap battle of the LEC and LEC x arcane rap "Fists to a gun-fight"
this is easily one of TOP's best songs
brooo react to this song. its soo good, Alemán & Snoop Dogg - Mi Tío Snoop
They filmed this & Nico and the Niners in Ukraine. There are behind the scenes for those, plus Jumpsuit, Heavy dirty soul, and Heathens (those are the Dema related, there are more as well.) They're really funny, and it shows how good their friendship is. Take what they say with a grain of salt though lol
and everything does not actually belong to will smith lmao
@@joshsdrumstick8318 Jumpsuit was the first behind the scenes I had ever seen of theirs. I actually went and looked up the thing about pulling the moss 🤣
@@joshsdrumstick8318 nor did Josh go to school in Ukraine with Will Smith as a teacher lol
@@katstorm13 omg right lmao....nor was the submarine in the Saturday mv will smith's
Yessss booooysss it’s TØP
That’s interesting all this time I was hearing Tyler say “I feed on things that fell.” Not “fail.” Also where is Knox from I’ve been trying to place this accent for a while lol, is it east coast?
“But the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night.” 1 Thess 5:2. My interpretation of this song has always been it is one of their most religious songs along with the fire breathing (being filled with the Holy Spirit). Tyler’s insecurity of sharing these religious thoughts with his audience.
You should react to "No Chances".
You're welcome in advance :)
Would love to see some Skitz Kraven at some point.
Please react to a Korn song. Preferably, falling away from me!
you should hear his heavydirtysoul rap.
Have you ever reviewed any KAAN songs? If not can you please. He is a Maryland homie. Howard Co I believe. He is so awesome.
The storyline continues with Saturday and The Outside PLEASE REACT TO THOSE😢😢
I never noticed the guy in orange! Maybe a call back to the Heathens video...which also seems to tie into the Dema storyline.
Going back to the beginning of his career he's got many songs that reference night being a hard time for him, anxiety etc.
And and...a fan actually brought him a car radio! There's video here on UA-cam.
Tyler wore an orange beanie in the Choker music video. Maybe I’m reaching lol
Great fucking break down bro. If you want to follow the storyline - Chlorine, Saturday, The Outside. Heathens has been speculated to be a prequel to the trilogy too.
Could the fire-breathing line could be related to Trash somehow?
