The Dangerous Bend Symbol seems like it's going to be important in this album - he's sort of making the shape with his hands as he's singing that part, it's also coined by Nicolas Bourbaki as sort of a warning in their books that what's coming is difficult to understand - this sign is also used on street signs in Europe to indicate a sharp curve coming, it also is the "N" in CLANCY on the new album cover (obviously turned sideways)
i think at the end he is arriving in Trench to meet up with the Banditos and he sees their torches

So basically in the music video for the song "Saturday" Clancy Gains the power to control a dead body temporarily, which he now uses as a way to get into dema and talk to the people without the bishops knowing, i believe that whenever he controls a body he wears that mask so the people know its him controlling it.

Tyler explained he used a danger bend symbol, which is a traffic sign, when you are heading towards a windy road, but in the song he says he flys right by it, and more so doesn’t notice it, but catches it in his peripheral, which leads to needing to overcompensate

The dangerous bend symbol was used in their notes when they were working on newer math textbooks. It was used to indicate a mathematical argument that was difficult to grasp or easy to fall into logical traps when trying to understand it. They may have adopted an existing symbol as they did with Ø to indicate an empty set.

When Tyler goes to the beach, they meet the other banditos. (hence the lights from their torches and Tyler's smirk). Tyler was the boy, he can control a body for a moment, inside DEMA.
I believe the reason hes wearing red instead of yellow is because he wants them to know hes going to war. He wants them to be afraid of him. Before when he wears yellow that was a subtle revolution to sneakily escape. But after hes escaped oh so many times and been brough back hes realizing peace may not be an option. In Bandito when they sing "i created this world to feel some control destroy it if i want" is him saying he can destroy it but isnt going to. Yet. I believe this album is putting emphasis on the "destroy it if i want" part. In one of the letters they mention they want to create an infero and burn it down.
Also, from what I understand, the bishops are all color blind to yellow, which makes the banditos harder to uncover!

When he says “I created this world to feel so control so I sing Sahlo Folina”, that’s the chorus to “Bandito”, from Trench. Sahlo means “enable” in Somalian, and Folina is the name of the Ned species, which represents creativity. In other words, Sahlo Folina means “Enable Creativity”, like he is calling for help or something along the lines of that. It’s also an Anagram for “All Ohio Fans”. My theory about The Dangerous Bend symbol is it’s a neon gravestone. It kinda seems like that’s the symbol he is making this his hands.

My take: Clancy also has the powers of psychokinesis that the bishops have. (He got them from Ned, but I’m not sure why). Clancy is using that power to invade DEMA without actually being IN DEMA. Spreading the word that they are under control of Vialism and can/should revolt/escape DEMA to discover how much control they are under there. To learn that self abuse/harm is not the way to paradise and they are being mind controlled by the darkness.
The ned horns contain Psychokinesis :)
I think the fire at the end are the banditos, either its a campfire or what I think is Torches, it would make sense because of a letter on the dmaorg site. There are videos on that. Also Tyler took control or "Seized" the person in Dema.
Josh Dun is a/the Torchbearer, as confirmed by his neck thingie in this video. It says TORCHBEARER in Ukrainian. A lot of people speculate that he's the leader of the banditos.

One of my favorite people to watch reactions to music because you give every genre or artist a chance even if you don’t typically listen to them. Twenty One Pilots has been there in my healing journey for a very long time thanks for reviewing them!
Tyler confirmed in an interview with fans that Sahlo Folina is a cry for help, but also originally it was a "sound/rhythm" filler in the song, but he came to love it and left it in.
this is a continuation of the story whose summary you saw in Clancy's video this story starts with mv HDS then jumpsuit, levitate and nico and the niners, then saturday, the outside, in the latter case you will see that Clancy receives weapen from Ned (bishops's weapen) and now he can seazing the dead bodies and that way destroy dema from the inside, and at the end the mv we see clancy and torchbearer they sailed through the paladin strait in a boat. Tyler shows us that he is no longer defenseless to his fear and to everything about on "lane boy" too because he has a gun. This is a good summary!! I would also add that Clancy is still outside Dema, but his "way in" (mentioned in one of his letters, I think) is "seizing" people inside Dema, so he's able to recruit people for the resistance. If you notice, all the people in this video (except Clancy and Josh) start out wearing only shades of gray, so they're definitely Dema citizens.

This song and video are packed!! No wonder the band released I am Clancy before the song dropped. Even the insiders needed help with the puzzle. (Although I understand most of what the true insiders learned was that they were deciphering Tyler’s clues correctly all along.) hey!! i really enjoyed this reaction and wanted to give you my theory on the lore behind this mv and events leading up to tyler becoming clancy. it may be long and possibly confusing and incoherent so strap in
firstly, i would like to say that tyler has not been clancy this whole time (at least, this is what i believe). in clancy’s earlier letters, he writes about him viewing the events that happened in the jumpsuit music video (tyler trying to escape, him being inevitably caught by nico and taken back. clancy is watching these events from a cave i believe). also, clancy’s bishop is keons whilst tyler’s is nico. during the events of hds/jumpsuit/nico and the niners/levitate, i personally believe that tyler and clancy are two different people.
however, the letters stop after 2018 and famously don’t return until the scaled and icy era begins. from a lore perspective and a real time perspective, we can see that a lot of time has passed between these events. at the end of the outside music video, we see two banditos holding up torches. these two people are the same children and members of dema that we see find tyler’s jacket with the yellow tape at the end of the nico and the niners music video, so we can see from how much they’ve aged that a lot of time has passed.
famously, scaled and icy is an anagram for clancy is dead. i believe that during the time that passed between clancy’s final letter in 2018 and the beginning of the scaled and icy era, he unfortunately lost his battle and committed himself to vialism. throughout trench, clancy was seen as a figure of hope. someone who managed to escape dema and try to break the cycle, but as is stated in the ‘i am clancy’ lore breakdown, cycles are hard to break. clancy seemed to be a famous name throughout dema, and so despite him losing his battle to vialism, he is still a symbol of hope and his legacy continues to live on. this is where tyler comes in.
after his death, i believe clancy becomes a legacy, a mindset if you will. i believe that tyler has taken clancy’s name and is trying to break the cycle and live out his legacy. in letters that were sent out this year, there are bold letters that state ‘still alive’, suggesting that clancy is still alive. and in a way, he is, just not as his former self. his legacy is still alive, it still lives on, and currently tyler is the one taking on that legacy and being that beacon of hope for the people in dema.
now on to what this means for the overcompensate music video. i believe that the dead boy at the end was the original clancy, and tyler was seizing his body as a way to inform the inhabitants of dema what vialism really is and what it means. he is trying to take them down from the inside. as he said himself, he is an exception to the rule. the bishops don’t know that tyler/clancy is able to seize dead bodies like they are, so it is the perfect opportunity for him to be able to send the message he wants to send (that vialism isn’t what they think it is and the bishops are brainwashing them into ultimate self destruction) without being caught.
the end of the music video picks up where the outside music video ends. tyler and josh have made it to where all of the other banditos are. this is why tyler’s face is lit up by their torches and why he is smirking. if they all band together, they will be able to destroy dema once and for all.
i also wanted to add on to why i believe clancy is actually now a mindset rather than a person. at the beginning of the overcompensate music video, we hear the same sentence being repeated in different languages, that sentence being something along the lines of ‘this secret island made me into a weapon’ (please correct me if i’m wrong). this is a direct quote from one of clancy’s letters, and i believe that this shows that anyone can be clancy. we can all find our beacon of hope when everything may seem hopeless.
once again, i apologise for the long comment. this is my personal take on the lore and how i believe the events leading up to this point took place. i hope this can help you form your own perspective!! (i also hope it actually made sense 😭) one thing about the lore i love is that the message is so clear and precise but is still able to be interpreted in so many different ways and applied to so many different situations. ive really enjoyed seeing your takes on the lore and music as a mental health professional. keep doing what you’re doing!! :)

Like faked committing himself to vialism in order actually escape dema-everyone in dema thinks he’s dead, and that’s why it says “still alive” in the letters, a secret message to those still trying to leave that he’s alive and that there’s still hope

sahlo folina has 3 meanings it's something banditos (fans/citizens of trench) use as a cry for help. it also unscrambled becomes "all ohio fans". sahlo in samoli means to enable and the name folina means creative or art so to enable creativity or something artistic.
the mask represents the body clancy (tyler) is controlling (ill explain more later in this comment just going in order of how you're reacting to it)
the red is so the bishops can see them. i don't know much lore behind his other than i feel like this is now the banditos taking the fight to the bishops. we aren't wearing yellow anymore so they can see us and know we aren't going to back down and hide
the dangerous bend symbol was made by the Nicolas Bourbaki (nico) group of mathematicians and is used in the UK to represent a Z or N like bend in the road. the dangerous bend symbol is also used as the N in "Clancy"
the part where you say it's like church is kind of true in my opinion. i feel like he''s telling the fellow citizens of Dema how to escape as we know he did it before was but taken back during Trench
that part where his voice changes and he's like giving a presentation makes me believe he's teaching them how to escape dema more than before. considering the images being shown feature the soul transfer ritual (what the bishops use to control vessels to get aka dead dema citizens)
the person unmasked at the end is that body clancy was controlling as he's outside on Dema and needs a way to communicate with the people in Dema
at the end those horns tyler has are from Ned. those are how the bishops control vessels as seen in the outside music video

Sahlo folina also means enable creativity. Which he said is how he gets through his life. He is getting people in dema out. By going in using dead bodies that he seized. The horns that he was holding gives him the power to take over dead bodies temporarily. To tell people in dema that they can rebel. He is saving people in dema. He is trying to create war and hope. The fire is the bsnditos torches. So he is just showing he seized to get into dema not actully their. That's what is happeninh in the lore so, yeah you bassically figured it out when you said the preaching thing. He is preaching to the people they they can escape from dema. Also that smirk at the end may be him getting *too* satisfied with seizing. Which could lead to him turning evil in the lore.

All my friends are heathens they all escape, and only one person gets left behind and he’s an orange and that’s Tyler. I think that where the story ends is Clancy is going to sacrifice himself to free everyone else.
@wickedlittleleo9218 maybe, I still think him turning evil could be the way it ends. Although him sacrificing himself could be it to. I support a few theories, including the theory of him being the only one that can be seized while alive. The too satisfied with seizing is another theory. Another one is that tyler is Nico's son. But yeah, whatever those theories are, this is what was happening in the video.

Loved your take on the lyrics, always great to hear:) This vid is lore heavy, as will be this album since it's the finale of the Dema storyline. If you remember from Nico and the Niners, Tyler raps about starting a concert as a diversion, so we can win but not everyone will get out. In this vid he's 'seized' one of the citizens to carry on the performance while he and Josh meet up with the Banditos.
Also, Sahlo Folina translates roughly to enabling creativity and this is the phrase the Clique will sometimes call out to each other when in need of help. Love that you went back to catch what you missed while vibin' out!!

The first 2 minutes of this video are pure gold.
When I heard Bandito for the first time, I read the "I created this world line" as Tyler literally telling us that the concept of DEMA is something he created to store/rationalize/compartmentalize his thoughts. DEMA/Trench is a world he created as a creative outlet, which he can destroy at any time.

My first watch I just had to absorb it all. But now a day later I better understand.. remember how he seized the bishop that was killed in the outside? So these people are citizens of dema in the grey. So now he’s seized one of them that’s gone to teach the citizens about trench.. I can’t wait to see where it goes from here!
Yes! I was a bit confused the first time watching it through, but I agree. This is definitely dema. The citizens are wearing gray and the beginning you see the neon gravestones and the city. He isn't physically in the city, but he's seizing a body so he can spread the news and hopefully create a rebellion or at least get people to leave.

Important info I've collected since the song's release.
Remember that Blurryface's real name is Nicolas Bourbaki, (according to an interview with Tyler) which is a reference to the real-life group of mathematicians who used that name as their pseudonym. One of their contributions to mathematics is the invention of the empty set symbol, which is the O with the slash through it that tøp use for all their O's (and, given that it means "a collection with nothing in it", probably relates to the concept of a vessel).
Well, the Bourbaki group also created what they called the "dangerous bend symbol", which they'd put in the margins of their work to warn the reader that the current explanation is easy to misunderstand or misinterpret if you're not careful. So "I fly by the dangerous bend symbol" is basically saying "I'm ignoring the warnings and rushing on ahead without consideration". The dangerous bend symbol meant to indicate difficult material.
The very beginning has voices in three different languages, French, then German, then Spanish. They all say the same thing "This tiny, strange island made me into a weapon. We both know that we can use it to change the momentum of this war." It’s related to the lore. Clancy (Josh) gained the same power as the nine bishops (Nico aka Blurryface), to control dead bodies for a short period of time (seizing), after being washed up on a tiny, weird island. So now I guess they’ll use it as a weapon against the bishops and save Dema from their cult.
The last scene is referencing “Hometown”.
“I know, I know you can bring the fire, I can bring the bone. I know, I know you'll make the fire, my bones will make it grow."
Sahlo" means to enable in Somali. Folina is a name and according to a name website, it means this:

So "Sahlo Folina" may mean 'to enable expressive creations'. Which would a lot of sense considering the next verse in Banditos is all about his ability to create the world of Trench.
It could also be worth noting that Folina is also the name of a contemporary academic figure in the field of philosophy of mathematics and particularly symbol logic (Janet Folina), and could have some connection to the Nicolas Bourbaki thing.
Nevertheless, in a Reddit post that TwentyOnePilots did a few years ago, they answered that exact same question. Tyler responded saying that, it's their cry for help when they're in Trench (the valley that surrounds Dema)

There’s some really good pdfs and threads detailing all of the lore. Nicholas Bourbaki and his group w the empty set (ø) and now the dangerous bend symbol (☡) are definitely involved at least with these lyrics. Tyler switching from the red from yellow is his overt rebellion against dema. the yellow stripes were invisible identifiers of the banditos/resistance. the bishops are colorblind to yellow but can clearly see red! he's coming back to dema to take it down from the inside and build up a group he educated, educated against the harmful tactics of dema who overtly rebel and do so in visible defiance to end the destruction from the bishops and dema

I THINK that the dude with long hair at the end of the song was the original clancy and he died so tyler with his control power thingy is controlling him and is taking his place as clancy but i dont know
the horns where given to Tyler by ned. they allow him to do this thing only him and the bishops can do called seizing, that is what tyler is doing to a poor unfortunate soul that lost the battel to dima/vialism. he is controling the dead remotly. the tyler ( its actually clancy in the lore ) that we see at the end is the real tyler, and as he lowers the horns, the other tyler falls

If you watch the video "the Outside" you'll understand the end. He is able to take over bodies, and use it as a vessel to teach the kids still stuck in Dema while he is safe on "the outside" from Nico and the Niners. Then the fire that started sounded like the car going up in flames in heavy dirty soul and Jumpsuit, that's why he smirked because he gave us a crumb of what's coming next.

Personally I think the rap is not much related to rest of the dema theme, I think it is a little personal nod to his kiddos. You know when you have little ones the days can be EXHAUSTING so you def don't want the days any longer but my goodness when your baby turns 1, 2, 3, 4! You all of a sudden have a 20 year old and wonder how your baby got so grown and it does something to your heart and soul
At the start they play the old bandtio song that's not new the bend symbol is a dangerous sign in Mexico and at the end he was controlling a random dead body to teach them and then stops controlling him being at trench with the banditos at a bond fire grinning because he made it while teaching too
