This guy just tell the whole story without even watching the series.
Holy hell
That pic fits the mood And your pic reminds me of Lenny face
Menos mal no entiendo inglés porque me hubiera llevado un spoiler 😳😳
@@Anchemt lol, sorry about that i didn't realize.✌️
he isn't saying ur spoiling he is saying that since u said he explained the whole story without seeing it then he thought that he acctually spoiled the movie
@@Anchemt AJJAJAJAJA tampoco está diciendo algo que haga spoiler XD
One minor detail I noticed no one talks is Powder/Jinx joining in and singing along at the end, "Spare me the sympathy." And "Everyone wants to be my enemy." With how she looks as she speaks this, it's as if Powder and Jinx is beginning to accept the song, believing the words that yes, everyone is her enemy and she doesn't need your sympathy.
Or maybe I'm just reaching too far.
Oh I defintely noticed it when I first watched it and had to sit there and let the implications sink in for a long time.
I agree watching the music video and tuen watching the series i can see why you made that connection because as you pointed out that the enemy and sympathy lyric points where jinx/powder sing along i think it also means that jinx and powder are no longer separate personalities but one single one that see everyone is her enemy and doesn’t need any sympathy form anyone because everyone who opposes her is her enemy
I noticed it, too, on the original video. Glad to see I wasn't the only one!
There's also the projection over Powder, which is singing "Oh the misery," showing how the turmoil is building inside her head until it's too much.
Silco basically told her how everyone was their enemy and they only had each other as father and daughter. She took that to heart and it messed with her already broken mind even more.
Not that he intended that, Silco really thought he was alone in the world til he took Jinx under his wing and saw she was alone too.
This is why I love this channel. Knox is the only reactor that breaks down the lyrics, while giving commentary about the production, instrumental, storyline and cinematography. Very meticulous. Thank you for always bringing quality content
totally not the only one, every musician reactor do that lol but yeah he is one of the best
Everyone else is just like, “the lyrics, dude” and never breaks anything down
nah Crypt breaks down EVERYTHING
@@BestFriendsWhoLiveTogetherfor real
I would recommend you watch Scru Face Jean
This guy literally explained the story from a song
What a talent
FYI, the first shot on Jinx with the toy monkey is a homage to the first-ever League of Legends MV introducing Jinx "Get Jinxed", which is arguably what kick starts the whole Riot Games Music.
React to that, it's one of the best
Not really much to react to in that video ngl
I think vi's song was out before jinx's but there was no music vid 'here comes vi' and as the guy above me says theres not a lot to react to in it, its a good and enjoyable song but not much to breakdown. the vid for get jinx youd get if you understood the lore or the arcane story coming up
@@shade4835 It is really good though
@@ChromaticCluck never said it wasn't just not worth making a video for
The toy monkey is also a clever historical reference - she was known as Powder and made explosive monkeys. Powder monkeys were children who delivered gunpowder to cannon crews during the Age of Sail.
Very detailed and technical breakdown for the song i've been putting on loop for a while. Im gonna cry 🔥🔥
Thank you - hope I did it justice 🙏
@@KnoxHill ♥️♥️
I do that a lot
DAMN you have a good eye on that bug scene! I went to the frame-by-frame and there are 3 blurry frames after she opens her eyes as a kid and then one single frame of adult Jinx laying there before the scene swap. Great catch!
I was also looking out for it after and noticed they do the same thing when she finger-guns the cops walking by.
(comma and period are forward and backward one frame at a time BTW, Knox)
Oh my God, I have watched the music video a hundred times at this point, I thought I noticed all the little details but whoah
@@buttonsmasher1072 After this video I actually took the time to go through the video frame by frame.
Another thing I noticed was that looking through the slit older jinx actually starts 'singing' the lyrics. Afterwards younger jinx is layered with a version of herself also lipsyncing and then it's just plain her saying "everybody want to be my enemy".
When you set the speed 0.25 after the bug came out you see the oldest jinx about 1milli second
@@nekiritan6779 i mean you can catch that on normal speed
It's a spoiler of what happens later in 1st season
I kept thinking of you when I heard JID, he has a lot of lyrical concepts and inner schemes that makes me think of your own music!
That he does bro. Funny I only started listening to him this past year after I had already developed and honed my style but I relate to a lot of what he does and how he does it
@@KnoxHill that’s dope!
He’s actually so dope hes been my favourite rapper for the last few years no one in Australia knows him tho, give it a couple years i reckon hes up next
@@mitchwhitfield1552 JID gets slept on so hard from so many. I've tried to get friends into him, but they seem to not really listen so most of his shit goes over their head.
the first time I discovered JID, I thought I was listening to Kendrick Lamar the song was NEVER
Ive seen multiple reactions to this but so far this is the best breakdown by far. Never seen anyone point out the easter eggs, the unique JID rapping scheme, and some actual knowledge of the game.
Oh also, since you were having trouble landing on the frame you wanted, while UA-cam is paused you can use the comma and period keys to go back and forward (respectively) frame-by-frame!
Needed this lol
holy shit, nice tip!
Nice tip but im still freaking out at how he saw that in less then half a second of a frame.
@@aidanmartinez4826 he was searching for it
5:20 "what does that mean, what is leaving her?" HOPE. In the story, the Firelights represent hope. At the begginning they are almost unseen, Vi comments that she feels hopeless and thats why everyone wants to fight. Then, everything goes south due to Silco, but the hidden Firelights keep hope alive, actually transforming a small space of the undergruond into something better and fighting hard for the future. The firelights represent hope, which Powder had but it left her. Then all she had left was hopelessness and death, symbolized by the crows, which she both struggled against but also personified. It goes deeper, with Vi commenting how she had never seen so many, but at the bridge fight scene what seems like firelights (hope) was false, just a hidden danger because it was fabricated by Jinx, meaning any hope of improving that came from her actions was artificial and actually waiting to explode.
she also burned(exploded) all her leftover hope on a certain bridge
Oh thats a good one
My theory was: Ekko and Powder were from a writing perspective pretty much the same. They looked up to Vi, were the weakest, youngest kids, etc. But Powder changed after act 1 and ekko was like what Powder could have been (also the last song is called what could have been this series is so fricking good). He is the leader of the firelights and Powder could have done great things too that help people and stuff if he hadnt killed Milo, Claggor and Vander (jk he may be still alive as warwick but she thinks she killed him so it doesnt matter for what im tryna say). Basically it shows how in episode 3 powder changed to jinx and didnt help with inventing the firelights or smth like that.
This was the most in-depth analysis I could find on UA-cam, and thank you for both appreciating the music and the story told by the lyrics and the clips. Most people aren’t looking at the whole picture, which is what makes it so incredible imo. Every word, sound, and clip is part of a story.
JID is so fucking dope! Smooth is an understatement
Just discovered JID from this and im glad I did. Dont really listen to hip hop, but man, this dude just clicked for me
@@theultimaterage675 he is the besttt, you get the whole package, and we still waiting for the albummm
finally someone mentioned JID
I don't understand why these reactors won't give JID some shine.
@@heathstory9655 ikr also his so underrated
Personally with the bug scene and knowing how sad her growing up is, i felt like it was her hope and innocence in a way. She is finally accepting that she cannot go back to her old self, she needs to toughen up to survive so she lets her hope for a bright future and innocence fly

@@maxmustermann1684 Also, the Firelights represent hope for a better Zaun free of both Piltover and Silco`s oppression and Powder/Jinx abandoned her old innocent, hope filled self to Silco`s revolution.
Imagine Dragons literally saved my life, no joke! They are not typically the usual band id go for but I love all their music and seen them live twice!!! ❤
I really want to see them live. I haven’t had a chance yet
@@abe10alpha You gotta, I've seen them twice and I'm seeing them again in February, they put on the best shows, it's not a concert, it's a whole experience. I hope you get to see them, their Mercury tour is coming up in February, if you're in the US or Canada definitely check it out, they also just announced Europe dates today if you live in Europe there's that too
Night visions still is one of my favorite albums
IKR. Their songs have a storm of energy.
Noice
Ayyy didn't know you were a LoL fan Knox! At least I'm guessing you are based on your knowledge of the Champs. Then again, we've all come to learn you're a damn genius who has a breadth of knowledge on all topics! Haha much love as always.
a lot of musicians reacting to this know little to nothing about the lore, so this was really surprising (in the good way!)
as a drummer i love the way you compared JID's flow to drum polyrhythms. love the reaction, it's awesome to see someone so knowledgeable get so into the music video reaction. great stuff!
You are by far my favorite reactor.
The depth of analysis and the details you pick up in the lyrics and video. Amazing insight and perspectives. I really feel that he "gets" whatever material he is presented with
That "Enemy" lyric hitting as it shows Vi after the bug transition is so incredibly powerful.
Love how accurately you described jinx's inner turmoil without even watching arcane yet.
Reaction is such an understatement, you broke down and caught so many things I never noticed and I've seen this quite a few times! great stuff
5:47 pro youtube navagtion tip that'll help you get single frame inserts like that: Press " , " to go one frame back or " . " to go one frame forward.
Bonus tip - Shift + , slows the video down and Shift + . speeds it up
don't forget the part where it says "spare me the sympathy" and then later at the very end says "I'll never be a saint no way" implying that she knows exactly what she's doing. she may of completely lost it, but her drive is clear as day
Just realised I wasn't subscribed to you man, well I fixed that right quick. Fire reaction as usual 🔥
Welcome to the team (officially) 🙌
@Stino I realise now why creators always push to sub. I was part of the problem 😅
I fell in love with arcane but I Gotta say you have been one of the best reactions to the music video and by far out of the 10 or so I’ve already watched. Keep up the good work man your breakdowns are amazing.
the way you talk and analize all about the song shows you really love music, movies, writing and-
english is my second language so i can't fully get to explain what i want to say but damn bro, i really love that passion right there
new subscriptor!
(think i saw people in the comments saying youre also a musician, better go check and support you. keep that energy my man! wish you the best.)
Also a fun little jab is hidden in JID's lyrics. When he mentions "The baddest" that's a song by a band that is *canonically* in the same universe as the Zaun-based Imagine Dragons JID combo we see here. K.D.A. can eat their hearts out.
Man I’ve never seen anybody break down music and production the same way you do, great video dude 10/10
dont know if anyone said it already, but if u press "," and "." on a youtube video you can go back/forward frame by frame, so you dont have to pause it right, you just can search for the perfect frame
I played lol extremeeeeely casually like like 8 years ago and I didn't really stick to it but damn I'd watch that as a movie.
Jinx was my fav btw.
Welp there's a show about her now.
This is such an incredible reaction!! The way you not only analyzed the visual contents/details but also character development and stories, and most importantly the LYRICSSSSSSS!!! You're the first one I see doing this and I thoroughly enjoyed every bit of this reaction video very much! The technical analysis on the rap part is also very interesting, especially coming from me who doesn't usually enjoy rap :)) You made me appreciate the MV/song way more now! Thank you sooo much for the reaction!!
I don't get how you are able to pick up so many details from the song and mv just by watching the first time. You even caught the dude who beats up the child like 20 seconds later, you are crazy Knox
Super dope how they took the wind up monkey from 'Get Jinx'd' and brought it to Enemy. You should check out 'Get Jinx'd' to see the 'next chapter' so to speak. Just crazy how Riot ties lore together, ever through new champs being released and a million different sub-stories and timelines.
The monkey is actually a reference to the first real champion song riot made called Get Jinxed
Music Video. They made Champion songs for basically every champion, but Jinx was the first real Music Video made.
Actually it comes from Fortiche. They made both the clip and the show.
I love how he not just reacts but also explains the music.
Imagine dragons & JID man two of my favorites artist making a masterpiece with a fire reaction
I really appreciate how you educated yourself on the story and the series to be able to correctly say their names and get a better understanding on what the lyrics mean in context!
absolutely admire the respect and recognition for the dragons here. done them right my man thank you
It's always refreshing watching Knox's perspective of things, really thorough and deep
Knox lived this breakdown. In the hook you missed "spare me the sympathy".
I am Requesting Cutthroat by Imagine Dragons please and thank you for your breakdowns
cutthroat is such a banger omg
Dude your analysis is so brilliant. I loved the explanation. I love the deep you made for this video. I loved your enthusiasm! Keep it on!
Peace ✌
I haven't seen videos talking about the lyrics like this, so I'm so glad I found your video! Your input as a rapper taught me so much, genuinely.
ive seen so many music reaction/breakdown channels but dude knox just finds the details on another level which seperates him from the other channels and i love it
"Jinx's on drugs as we know..."
LMAO
Wow dude! I love your passion for the arts and how in depth you go when reviewing the entirety of the video. I love how much appreciation you express and I feel the same! Cant wait to see more of your vids in the future :)
Possibly the best reaction to this music video I've seen so far, you do a great job at breaking down not only the music but what's happening in the video too. Great job
Thanks for doing this song Knox... adore the dynamics in this and the production of the high and lows and the artwork is incredible!
love how u pay attention to the lyrics and the song at the same time. 10/10
I love when rap becomes beatboxing-with-words. When consonants become drumsticks.
Hey Knox!
Love your reactions, been watching through them for a while.
You're content is great, keep it up! You're breakdowns are fantastic c:
I really love imagine dragons, there music is so dope and the epic beats and it gives me goosebumps by just great. Hope you have a great day mr hill have a great day
The whole Arcane soundtrack album is fire. I would love to see more breakdowns of those songs.
i love your reactions. you tell the meaning, break them down, and teach us on the go too. I love your videos soo much
Omfg i love (i think) ur songs at the beginning and then ur explenation about everything happening on the screen, love form Poland keep up good work (im checking all of ur video's rn) ❤❤
I generally don't like these types of breakdowns of music videos because they feel stretched out and kinda boring but I really love how you care not just about the music or just the story or just cinematography which is how some other channels do it, it just really feels like you actually care about the whole thing and that makes it that much more enjoyable.
Kind of a long comment but great video!
Thank you yet again for another amazing reaction to league music! :)
Thank you for continuing to support!
This react video was almost as epic as the song. First time watching this channel, so I didn't know what to expect, but I certainly didn't expect this level of analysis. Very well done!
"Blue eye Jinx- Purple eye Jinx- Jinx on drugs"

This man can memorize the whole lyrics in one listen🥲
I grew to really like this song, then I watched your reaction and so much of the amazing stuff going on in this song got revealed, and now I like it more
Hey there, I never heard of you. This is the first reaction I see of this song and I have to say that I never heard and saw a better reaction video to any other some by anyone else.
I love the way you REALLY check out the lyrics, the meaning of it and respect and see the idea behind the song.
Thanks so much.
i love not only your analysis of the music and film, but your crazy good observational skills! picking up on things i didn't notice myself the first time
Knox, when you want to go frame by frame just use the PERIOD and COMMA buttons to go forward and back and you can capture whatever you want!!
14:53 Great pause, watched Enemy quite a bit and never noticed the eyes! Even more hyped for the release next week. :)
i really loved your reaction!!
It was excellent that you begin with the reaction imminently and didn't rewatch it to just comment it!
It was really cool that you went back and commented it, i really enjoyed it. Thank you
Absolutely fantastic breakdown! I love how you picked up so many of the cues before the series was even out.
Been waiting for a JID reaction. He's a beast
Damn, that was a really good breakdown.
I always watch knox react to my favorite songs and then learn to appreciate them even more in other aspects
Amazing
This was an awesome reaction. Loved the in depth music analysis. Was impressed at all the little things you picked up in the video too!
This song, coupled with the visuals really hit hard. Love it
The part where Jid is sitting and turning his head quick reminds me of free the robots by capital.
I love your reaction, you notice so many auditory, lyrical, and visual details it's insane
i was waiting for your reaction! Im so glad to finally see a Reaction of someone who nearly knows the lore just this much to understand bit more of the MV.
I'm SO glad that he's reacting to this!
I like it how Joeynato talks about the instruments that they use and Knoxhill talks about the lyrics and a bit of the instruments but mostly the lyrics XD but there both good.
You reaction is so articulate, keep up the good work bro
love your attitude to details, it's really nice to hear your thoughts and explanations. thanks for the reaction, get a new sub!
Great reaction. Is tragic how underrated this song is.
i agree with you , specially for the rap part (polyrhythm/flow) and the fact that there are only two chords and i noticed many people would like it without rap
many thanks for your analysis specially for te rap part (polyrhythm/flow) which many people don't appreciate. i am 56 and i love music... all music. i saw the live mtv by mistake by zapping
and it attracted me a lot, a lot of positive energy, beautiful! . my reaction was wow what is this? I like. so I looked for reactions and ... a lot of wow... ok i'm not the only one.
I remember getting the notification the moment i seen imagine dragons and jid was like yeah this is gonna be 🔥
Already subbed and rarely comment anywhere but I had to on this one.
I subbed cause you actually engage with what you are reacting to. Noticed it on your KDA reaction and have been hooked since. Even on your sick days its clear you are still putting as much effort as you can.
Keep it up Knox and all the best!
My take on the green bug coming out of her mouth:
Those bugs are called firelights, and are used as a symbol of hope for a peaceful life among the chaos and danger of the undercity/zaun. A lot of this song & video tell the story of Powder growing up into Jinx. So, I think the bug leaving her, followed by a single frame of her adult self, is showing the last bits of her hope for a simple and happy future, flying away
I love your breakdowns, knox! Its because of you I'm able to get and understand the deeper meanings behind some of my favorite songs. I've been hoping you would do Radioactive by Imagin Dragons ft. Kendrick Lamar. I suppose now would be a good time to request it... on my first ever comment on one of your videos, no less. 😊 Hope you have an awesome day! 💜
I love how you jump from explaining the music and the different elements of the sounds and jump to pin point some details on the story and visuals
Pretty entertaining
just dicovered your channel, amazing breakdown and reaction my man, keep it up :)
5:40 If you want to stop at specific frames, you can use the dot and comma Keys to move forward or backwards by frames, no need to skip whole seconds to rewind the whole passage
Maan, Respect that you pay attention for the lore and the story itself!!!
I really like your commentary on the video and the storytelling that is happening. It is really good.
Best breakdown on this video by far, great stuff man.
I lose it everytime i listen to this song.... JID's verse 🤯......just added to the out of this world vibe of this...masterpiece.
Growing your beard suits you very well with this style bro
dude this is just my second video i have watched from you are great man, you notice small details thats hard to catch, you kind of add more to the video your watching. its great
Words can't describe how happy I am after seeing knox react to this. I wanted him to react to it the very first time I listened to the song
This dude knows what he is saying, Awesome job on noticing the hidden details
I love me some Imagine Dragons! Excited to watch this one 🙌
I seen several of your videos but I love this one the most
I appreciate you Dear Knox. You awesome! Keep making this kind of videos!

I don't know how to support and love this request any more! PLEASE do it Knox🙏🙏🤞🤞💕💕
that song had me tearing up fr
