Kinda odd he doesn't even mention salmon on the website that I could find. I'm in Ashland there's no reason I'd want to go 5 hours to fish walleye,pike, and bass around here are junk fish just annoying but we don't have super salmon fishing. Id think they would want to highlight the best fish there.
No not negative but should at least promote the good salmon fishing. As a customer id want to know more about that then any other fish I can get anywhere in the state with frequency. If your coming from the south or similar sure, but I'm guessing most clients are within reasonable driving. I'm not leaving lake Superior to go to lake Michigan to catch those species I want salmon. We get them here but smaller and less frequent when our DNR only puts salmon in Michigan .
