It really is. This is the first bike I’ve ever seen it on. It came on the bike when I got it. It is pretty sun damaged though. I need to order a replacement. I’ve only found them in the UK though so I bet shipping isn’t going to be cheap 😖
Just bought a SV650 with the the front end swapped at some time before the previous owner. Why is this so common on the SV650? What are the advantages of GSXR front end?
I currently have a 2007 Sv650N, I am interested in moving to a Sv1000, however I bought 2004 Gsxr 600 forks to swap onto my current bike. Could I use these for the sv1000 too?

More suspension tuning options and inverted forks. That’s pretty much it.
I’m doing a Gen2 sv650 with the 03 gsxr front end with Axial calipers swap. Is that the stock sv front wheel and calipers?
No. Both of these bikes have complete GSXR front ends.
