Bill Ward. What a true legend. A Man Among Lesser Men.
Bill has and always will be the heartbeat of Sabbath we miss you Bill we love you.
What a classy gentleman. Love You Bill, all the best!
My fav. Drummer as a kid of 10 in 73 with a new drum kit , love you Bill you still my fav. Drummer in 2022 ✌️
Lovely man, bless his heart ❤
No drummers after bill could not play with that intensely, he's the one that created that sound, everybody forgets
It isn't really Sabbath without Bill.
Problem is, Ward didn't keep himself in decent enough shape with his unique concerns in not being able to make adjustments, so he basically abandoned Sabbath many years ago. With that statement, he is also my favorite drummer of all time.
Yeah I agree with you Bill's is one of the best you can't just throw someone else in there it's just not the same Black Sabbath can't re unite without Bill.
Bill; don't feel bad about past mistakes, we love you and your drumming❤❤
Bill IS the Man !..! !..!
It has taken a very long time for bill to come to terms with that period and be very forward and honest. Yay bill!
Love Born Again, shame Bill couldn't have done more sabbath albums after that and sabbath had a touring drummer if Bill didn't fancy touring at that time ❤
Bill is the beast of musical drumming history forever
Hopefully Bill will release some of his albums.
Born again is fucking awesome
Saw the tour it was AWESOME...and, I was on acid! Score...XD
@@mr.snicker-doodles7081 WOW!
That must have been one hell of an experience 😄
Great playing on Heaven and Hell. It's too bad he was so drunk he doesn't remember the experience clearly. But at least he can go back and listen to the recordings. I'm sure he prefers the stuff they did with Ozzy. He's said more than once that he was into Dio before they played together. He respects Dio as an artist, but preferred working with the guy on the original design team.
The lord of drums!
Bill Ward had a LOT of JAZZ in his drumming, and CLEARLY drew a lot of his approach to his playing from JAZZ drummers that preceded him. This is the essential difference between his playing and most hard rock/heavy metal drummers; Ward SWUNG, the others didn't! So, when other hard rock or heavy metal drummers came into Black sabbath and had to played his drum parts or grooves, they often didn't really capture the vibe of what Bill Ward played originally on the earlier BS records. His approach to grooves and fills were largely coming from JAZZ drumming. Most rock drummers know very little about jazz drumming.
Well said.. And that's the major problem with many ROCK & MeTaL drummers of today....😎🤘
Vinnie sends greetings.
