  • Hard and Heavy DVD compilation includes these interviews with Tony Iommi, Cozy Powell and Bill Ward, from 1989. I am still looking for part 2 of Bill's interview.

I bought this on cassette tape shortly after it came out back in 1990 (white album cover) as a 16-year old kid, thinking this was going to sound alot like Sabbath (whom I had discovered 3 years earlier and by this time was hugely into). And also because of Ozzy guesting on a couple of songs (also hugely into). Sounded nothing like Sabbath at all. Took a few listens, but I really got into it once I opened my mind and looked past all that. Bombers (with Ozzy) and Snakes & Ladders were my two favourite songs off this record. Still listen to it every now and then.
Such a shame that $haron will not allow Bill to reissue/remaster this album without the two tracks that Ozzy sings on. I'm sure they are wealthy many times more than Bill is and don't need the money. Her greed really is beyond disgusting. I would love to hear it all again with a much bigger and better sound, brought up to 2022 standards.

@@BootsBloodyBoots Yes I was surprised to hear how heavy they were, really enjoyed them, even the recent ones. His style is so unique and integral to the sound of Black Sabbath. Sabotage and Born Again are two of my favorite albums 🙂

It's late in the day now, but it would've been cool to see Bill sitting in with Zeppelin.
