I love LRP double touleraine. And the effclar duo with BPO and LHA stops pimples in their tracks, and even cysts if you catch it soon enough. I find it works best on active bumps, though. The foaming purifying wash is my “strong” cleanser. I use it when I wear heavy makeup and sunscreen. It is very effective but doesn’t strip the skin. The lrp cicablast is just magic in a tube.
ETA: I didn’t know the serozinc prevented bacterial infection. I use the regular mineral spray sometimes, now I want to try the serozinc.
Thank you so much for the deeper explanation of the ingredients. I didn’t know the effeclar had all those benefits! I tend to use it only in an emergency. Now I see I can use it for blemishes and it will help with scarring.

I've been using the cleanser, for quite a while (couple of bottles), but since I'm out of my teenage acne phase it started to be too invasive and really stripped down my skin. I'm using it from time to time now, when the blackheads and white heads are acting out. But the Effeclar duo is my favourite, again I've been using the spf 30 version religiously for couple of years now, and apart from the fact that it irritates the eyes I've only praise for this moisturiser. It has nice mat finish but as it was mentioned it is moisturising and It's also great for under the make-up - highly recommend!

Hi there, the LRP Effaclar foaming cleanser contains SLES not SLS. Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLES) is a much gentler alternative to SLS that is less likely to cause irritation. However, there are sufficient data which shows that SLS is not guaranteed to cause irritation for everyone and is, in fact, may be useful for people with excessively oily skin.

I'm using effaclar since 2019. Don't have acne, but my skin is really sensitive and prone to pollution. In my case effaclar is just Perfect. It costs a lot, but for example i have effaclar cleansing gel 400ml since 2019 and i'm gonna end it in next week. I'm also using tonic and cream duo+( it is the most expensive and its the only thing I bought multiple times). In my case LRP help me more than cerave. Greetings from Poland!

Ordinary chemical peel is so strong. Please don't use if you didn't used to used acid on your face. Try building tolerance by using the lower percentage acid such as lactic acid 5 % for beginner.

i've been using effacular duo for 2 months but everytime after i applied it to my active acne, there are tingling and itchiness sensation that lasted for 30 min -1 hour and it really annoyed me..idk it is normal or not but i think maybe it is working for me.. Besides i want to stop using clindamycin as I've been using it for 8 months, although inconsistently but still afraid my face become resistant to tht antibiotic...

Is your face currently dry or are you also using something that dries out the face? When I started using Duo+, my whole face would be red, tingling, stinging and painful for 1hr+, which I later found out was because my skin was dry due to excessive usage of salicylic acid. Now that my skin is not dry anymore, it doesn't feel tingly.

@@cough464 I'd wipe my face fry with tissue paper or cotton, then apply. If you're using a towel, don't reuse it many times though, maybe at most 2 days and swap it. And definitely don't use the towel you use for your body.
And ur face is itchy and wet after using Duo+ maybe because it's dehydrated/not moisturized. If not, it's probably just not suitable for your skin. Most people I know who've used it would feel slight tingling after using, but nothing too severe. May I know what cleanser you're using?

When I used this cleanser a couple of times, it broke me out and the acne is the kind that lasted long and hard to reduce its appearance (not like any other monthly acnes I had before). It hurt a lot and took weeks. This acne appeared in my face area that usually never get acne. My skin is not the sensitive type as I've tried a lot of products for my oily acne prone skin and never broke out like this one. I think the ingredient in it doesn't suit my skin.
