Uncanny X-men 250 million, complete 2 missions to light extra ball right hand side lower in lane.shoot far right ramp will work. Pulp fiction great game 16.5 million you need to look at back glass score seven digits 6.500,001 the 1 will flash at first digit. Pinball hasgotten so awesome . I’ve seen the progression through out the years. 20 years from now will be even better 😊

Never saw these before but the algorithm brought me in. Fun video and I completely agree on Jaws. It's just a fun table you can walk up to, keep a ball alive, and maybe even put up a decent score.

I would say as far as warranty having had problems with both JJPs and stern, they will give you what you need long after warranty expiration. Both good companies.
I'll tell you this much: Jack Danger is quickly becoming my new favorite pin designer. Foo Fighters has been one of my all-time favorites since day one, and while I was initially skeptical about X-Men, it's very quickly grown on me - just a couple more code updates, and it'll be up there right alongside Foo. His games have some of the smoothest and most unique flow I've ever seen, and the theme integration is simply top-notch. I know pinball snobs will yammer on and on about their sacred cow Keith Elwin and how his games have "competitive quality", but if you're looking for a game that's just downright _fun,_ Danger can't be beat.

@ neither? it’s the speed, buttery smoothness of everything, and the sounds the game makes (music and effects). Some of the most satisfying ramps/ramp combos ever designed. I like the enemy thing too. Feels like im shooting stuff and I like shooting stuff
X-men might just be too different for me for location play, maybe I need it at home. The way it drains is not normal and it pisses me off. The modes and theme and voices and lcd are just so incredibly generic. I’m not smiling and dancing and having fun while being mad at myself for sucking like I’m used to. I’m mad at the game for being so weird. Also possibly the most set up dependent game ever. Balls flying off wire forms, bad one way gates, balls moonwalking all over the place, clunkiness galore, shots back handable on some copies but not others, terrible flipper hop on the left flipper on some, danger room entrance variation to get used too. Nothing but love for Jack for the clever design and risks Stern took but in hindsight it might just be a bit too much for me.

Enjoyed the video, found the noisy power supply distracting. Kept reminding me of when my power supplies would make all their noise when trying to work. I recommend installing the replacement quiet fan kit.

Sad to see that Turner pinball with Ninja Eclipse only got a cautionary shout-out.
Not a NIB buyer, but I would argue they that came fully around from last year, listened to all feedback and sold the best bang4buck machine. The fact that they are so transparent and willing to adjust makes me very positive about their future.
Also, looking at what you get for the same price as a Stern Pro, Ninja Eclipse looks totally worth it's money and then some. Fun layout, good code, nice art and some awesome features.
The only thing is, they are new in the scene. That precaution is fair, but that does not diminish how awesome their first machine seems considering the MSRP.
Absolutely. So much so that I am a dealer of theirs (Flip N Out Pinball). We believe in them and put our money where our mouth is. I just think it’s fair to pump the breaks a bit because they are nowhere near the manufacturing prowess of other manufacturers that have been doing this for a decade or longer.

I played Jaws and it was surprisingly good to me after I found out you don't shoot the ball in the sharks mouth. I mean... you want to shoot the ball in the sharks mouth and have the sharks head explode and see the end of that scene from the movie. I mean... its pretty hard to get over that they denied us that experience.
Thank you for your video. Love them and also keeping the faith that Uncanny X-Men code will continue to mature. This game has so much potential. I hope they also continue to add more animations. It's not intentional. But I really hope that stern continues a pattern with Uncanny Xmen, Metalica, and now DnD.
New games with lots of unique layouts and newer complex rule set ideas. Then in between re release an older game. Keeping sort of a foot on new untested ideas and another re-releasing 20 year old classics.
I'd go insane if we get a Simpsons Pinball Party remake after DnD

Totally agree with the over reaction comments. Jaws is great even if it doesn't eat the ball, John Wick deserves more credit for being a super fun shooter (though the code is still lacking modes), and we love Uncanny X-Men!

Remakes will never really affect my decision on buying an original, especially after owning both. Remakes are definitely overpriced. They should never be worth more than an OG, but nothing about this hobby makes sense.

I'm very excited for what I believe will be the Spike 3 debut with a May King Kong from Elwin. That's a site unseen buy on an LE right there. Jaws is incredible. Love that machine. And the Metallica Remastered LE is awesome. Love mine. My buddy has the premium and I would say the backglass is not great. He did an aftermarket one and it looks much better.

John Wick without a gun mech is like Jurassic Park with no dinosaurs, bad theme integration. When you don't give your target audience what they wanted you have failed. No need to be angry with them.
Well that's why you install the gun mod where you attatch an actual gun to the machine and everytime you drain the gun goes off

Stern will need spike 3 before they catch JJP on display and animation. However, Stern’s shoot so much better from top to bottom. I haven’t had a shot at Elton or Avatar, but having owned a Gnr, dialed in and Toy Story, I need to play the Steve Ritchie flippers before I buy another JJP.
Yeah I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised when you get your hands on an Elton
BBQ was actually not a bad game. It had a late 1980’s PF vibe but the theme fell flat. I enjoyed playing it at a show but I’d never buy one. And like GTF, too expensive for what you get. Tho, much respect for Barry.

I think that was “The Community” of pinball in the 2000s. Pinball in 2025 the majority want recognizable and nostalgic, adored licensed properties.
@@whompetgaming3881 Only thing with tank force is they tried for that b-movie camp but it comes off as people trying to act as b-movie camp. It’s a bad attempt at trying to be corny. Otherwise every other thing they tried to do was spot on.

Wick was the weakest. Jaws is a safe pick for best game of the year. I was certainly turned around on it. It looked barren (and yeah I thought the shark should have eaten the ball), but it is one of those games that is far more fun to play in person than to watch on a video. It’s a real labor of love too with so much more code released over the last several months. Jaws won me over.

The biggest problem with X-men, is the left flipper ball hop. It is really bad and actually does mess-up the game play. It's not something easily dismissed like a bad plunge because it affects half the shots. For some reason, it is largely being ignored.
…and it doesn’t seem to affect every machine. I have played quite a few examples and not all have the problem. There must be some variation in assembly that causes it.
@@user-xw6cr4pu9m It's just a simple adjustment away from being a non-issue. The fix is out there if people look for it.
Agrée, super annoying and this comes from the height of the metal bar: it varies from game to game how deep it is inserted within the playfield and playing around with how deep it is fixes the issue partly, but the way to make it move is super dangerous for the playfield as you can damage the art should you pull too much on the bar and make it completely exit the holes. Go on it super gently and that will make it happen. A guy did a quick UA-cam video on that and I did it on mine.
biggest problem for me is the entire playfield just seems like some gimmicky upper playfield. every shot didnt need to be some weird transfer loop shot

@ bought a 007 Bond LE got it NIB for hella of a deal. Enjoying that one. Not really interested anything that was released in 2024, played all of them at past expo. Hopefully this year will be better.

Yeah maybe having the modes be started immediately after the first shot. I'm not a fan of the shoot any three shots to start a mode codes. That's what I think ruins the code for me lol.
@@whompetgaming3881 it should make you shoot different shots to start modes like it does for the 7th and 8th mode. Spamming midtown is safe and I’ll do it evertime if they don’t force me to take more dangerous shots.

@ it’s not just you, it’s all the disappointed LE buyers losing three grand in three months. But I just find it interesting how the games that aren’t stacked up to sell can get crapped on, but then when a stern game has baby grade code it’s just not mentioned at all.
Xmen has ATROCIOUS code and it’s embarrassing.
D&D is launching with code that’s MUCH MORE advanced than xmen is at nearly four months AFTER launch.
Just sucks that 98% of the ppl in the hobby are really just trying to sell to the 2%.
Whatever the reasoning, all I know is that I enjoy my LE and look forward to code coming along. We did mention in the video it’s not where it needs to be with code.

Exactly or Stranger Things Premium ball lock. That is still by far my most frustrating shot. X-Men is a gem of a machine. One of the best shooting machines I've ever played imo. Helps I love the theme.

The snagger does but the drop won’t drop to allow it to work. A wire came off and I think it fried a transistor!!!! I need to get around to fixing it (greg)
Honestly... Uncanny X-Men should've gotten Worst Display and Animation. I really hope they touch it up in future code, but as it is now it's noticeably below Stern's usual standard. Calling it Animation in itself is already generous; the majority of scenes are just static images that don't animate but have particle effects on top. Deadpool, Black Knight and Venom had actual animating scenes/pixel art but while I appreciate they tried to do their own work instead of using scenes from the show... I can't help but feel it's lacking in the art department.
Guys, i like your show a lot, big fan. But, Abba=niche? That was the most absurd classification I've ever heard of I thought it was supposed to be satire. Your assumption couldn't be more wrong. I think it's one of the greatest music themes ever made.
We love the ABBA passion! We were talking about the theme being “niche” to pinball. We know how huge the band is worldwide.

Hard to argue that. We didn’t include Evil Dead in the awards this year because nobody has had the chance to get their hands on it yet.

Do you think if BBQ had something of a Tecas Chainsaw Massacre it would have done better? More of a horror meat game than a kids game. I think it would have at least got laughed at less
I played it at expo and found that i actually liked it quite a bit. I was laughing a lot walking up to it looking at it knowing how much guff it got though.

Wow. We obviously have different universes... Spooky's software is buggy as hell! Yeah it looks nice.... But when you CAN'T PLAY THE TABLE is it worth it?

@@SDTM granted. You gave them awards for design. But you made sure to also call out other companies for bad art, not a good shooter, etc. I can't get through playing any spooky table these days without it bugging out in some way. And I really like playing them except for when they fail, which is all the time. It just felt to me that you gave them praise when you could but you didn't deride them when you should. I really enjoy Scooby Doo, But three out of five times I'm in the middle of a multiball and everything just stops. Your accolade, from my point of view, gave an incorrect idea of exactly how a spooky pinball machine plays.
I will also state, this is my first video of yours that I've seen. I liked it. And maybe you have mentioned the problems with the actual spooky code in previous videos I haven't looked at yet.
