Final Fantasy VII follows the story of mercenary Cloud Strife, who is hired by the eco-terrorist group AVALANCHE-led by Barret Wallace-to help fight the mega-corporation Shinra Electric Power Company, who attempts to drain the planet's lifeblood as an energy source to further their profits. Apathetic to the cause, Cloud initially fights for personal gain, and for the promise he made to childhood friend Tifa Lockhart. Cloud eventually joins forces with many others to save the planet, which is threatened by Shinra and Cloud's nemesis Sephiroth, and discovers a reason to fight for a cause other than his own.

Phoenix is by far my favorite how it rides up, opens its wings to a circular rainbow and then just blasts the enemy with radiant light and fire is so simple but gorgeous
I cant believe how many of these summons never appeared in other FFs and completely left my memory!

Odin, other versions of Bahamut, Alexander, and especially Knights Of The Round are what I'm hyped for the most!
Knights of the Round will probably just become actual characters somewhere in the game. We will probably get to Summon Arthur or something but I can't see them letting us summon about 13 Guys at once.
I hope they shorten the animation on the Knights of the Round Table to do like a single attack each but in one frame somehow.

Wow, I wish the forgotten ones got some recognition I hope the next games, the writers, and producers remember these and put in the next FF games because really they are wonderful
I think the summon in the next part of the remake are gonna be Ramuh, Titan, Odin, Phoenix and Neo Bahamut!

No one ever guessed Gilgamesh especially being the most OP summon.
My favorite summons: Odin and Hades.... And knights of the round of course. But knights take so bloody long 🙄
I have this memory of watching my brother's friend using Odin on a boss, but instead of the enemy getting sliced in half, it was Odin and his steed. I can't find a clip of it anywhere
Can’t wait for the rest to be remade.
Odin was one of my favorite summons to use until the middle of disc 2.

OPINION: My favorite summon ever besides Knights of the Round is Hades Black Cauldron.
5:28 Absolute best is Neo-Bahamut. He splits the heavens and lifts up the enemy into the stratosphere, annihilates them with a huge beam of fire, then humiliatingly sends them hurtling back down to earth.

So with this, there are a total of 4 more summons not in the remake series:
- Hades
- Typhoon
- Bahamut ZERO
- Knights of the Round
I wholly expect that the Knights of the Round to be something akin to the protorelic side quest in Rebirth. And accomplishing them gets you each or a small group of the knights before you face the superboss, the leader.
Only then do you get the full potential.
It better be as strong as it is in this game.
With a mod, Supernova. It doesn't have an official name of the move, but it's called " the Sephiroth Bomb." Named after the animation after he used it.

Except for kotr, summons are pretty much pointless when hitting 4x for 9999 on normal attacks.

Phoenix and Hades are key for the Weapons fights. The rest yeah, pointless, but still fun to watch.
