My videos are so much more simple than yours, but then i tend to just do performance videos (because i don't like the sound of my voice 😂), but even then, the editing process can take hours and hours. Fair play to you, I'm a relatively new subscriber and i really enjoy the way you put these together. And i can *fully* appreciate how long these 12 minute little documentaries take. It must take most of the week.
Maybe a productivity video could be helpful. I don't use notion, i have a system using a dotted journal, to plan practice, and highlight where improvement needed.
This video was very helpful. And food for thought. 👍👍

Thank you very much for the many helpful tips! Your clear structure, which is already evident in the planning, is also reflected in the video itself and makes it easy for the viewer to absorb all the compact knowledge.
A stupid question: Why is it such a disaster when the text from the thumbnail is repeated in the title?
Your equipment is amazing. It's incredible what is already possible! By the way, I love the cozy atmosphere in your videos! 💖🎶

Thanks Beatrix for this really interesting video - cool to see the behind the scenes efforts and what goes into producing these videos. (I think most serious YTers must be chronically sleep deprived ). Amazing how many hours you spend editing for a 10 minute video but makes sense given the quality and thoughtfulness in your content (and music). Nice vibe as usual in this one ! Hope to see more of Sor Hands maybe in an Oh Sheet ! ?

I’m luckily the best sleeper I know haha, once I fall asleep nothing can wake me up. 😃 thanks for the kind words, creating something together with Cameron has been on my mind lately, we’ll see how things go. Now I’m in the process of getting the second season sponsored, no money no podcast 🫠🫠🫠

    Thank you so much Beatrix!!
I like that you deliver your main message before asking people to buy stuff . That’s very genuine ! :)
You’re very clever about making thumbnails !! I can see why less people would click on my videos ..
I’m an electric guitarist who doesn’t play as well as you but I did recently get a nylon string guitar 🎸 so you can thank yourself , Brandon Acker, Ami Inoi, Stephanie Jones and tons of classical guitarists like John Williams . ;_; I’m sorry I mainly listen to prog metal but I do love classical music
Thank heavens I plan to talk about Japanese rock music and progressive metal as well as maybe try to delve into what inspires me as an artist / musician . I just hope that if I keep at it and add to the quality of my videos that I will become more successful .
Though … I do not really want a lot of success . A small amount would be enough 😅
You’re awesome !Thank you 🙏 you’ve helped me with this so I better actually take some notes 📝

By the way it’s pretty cool that both yourself and Matthew Kiichi Heafy from Trivium both use Elgato products to record parts of your audio ! He’s a metal dude but he’s really good I know it’s not classical 😅

Besides content and the technique I think the most important thing is to be authentic.
I like videos that are recorded with few recording attempts even if there are speaking pauses or mistakes. What I personally really dislike are videos where every 5 words there is a new cut just to cut out pauses and mistakes.

I hear you, I think from the creato's perspective it's hard to find the balance because we don't want to waste your time and want to get to the point as fast as we can :D Personally, I often get comments saying how I'm too slow, and it pushes you to cut more often

@@beatrixguitar : I can imagine how difficult it is for you as content creator. I'm not a creator myself but tried to record for private reasons one or two videos. It's very hard and the videos were awful and far from natural 😅.
I have to add that I really like to watch your videos, so imo you do a great job 👍. Also your live videos are chill and spread a comfy atmosphere.😎

Before equipment, the most important item is you are high level guitarist and also know other arts

Can I use my UA-cam channel as leverage to force my landlord to allow me to adopt a pet? "I'm posting on UA-cam. I need a cat!"

@@beatrixguitar I have been making videos for 8 years and from my experience I can clearly say that something is wrong with 6-10hours time. My average editing time for a 10 min video is between 0.5-2 hours. Can you make a video how do you edit a video from very beginning? BTW thanks for these video series, I really learn good UA-cam tips from you!
