Installing a double oven - model GE PTS9200SN1SS PTS9200SNSS

This was super easy to install. We didn't need as much help as we gathered. Important - turn breaker off. Basically, ensure it fits, remove wire connection, add wire connection, lift and insert oven. The oven attaches with two screws in the bottom trim, and two screws (on each side).

Just FYI when an oven will not reach full temp it's because half the breaker is bad. Replacing the breaker usually solves this issue before having to replace a whole oven. Breakers do sometimes fail and do not give full power. Had this issue once.

That is a good point to bring up. We did check breakers and power, all were good. The lady wanted a new oven anyway...

Much easier to remove the doors first 😂. And you really should have a 3/4” flex BX to box connector. You Can’t just push the flex conduit into a hole. If those wire chafe on the box hole, you will have a nice house fire

Thanks for the ideas. The GE instructions manual stated to not remove doors due to electronic connections. Yes, the connector would have been better, but we felt that the flex conduit entered box enough to protect wires. Cheers.
