We don't need to water it all time. so, no need of hole in botton..
We need humidity.. So no need of hole on top.

Very good video step by step. So I think this method work for all cactus and lithops, right? After you closed the container, when I can open it again, is there a maximum time? And then, when definitely the container can be opened with no more lip?

Yes it will work with all cactus and tithops. You can check the container when you need. Nothing to worry..
Keep in mind more humidity in container, more growth in seeds..

When you feel they need more space to grow you can repot. But from my side Don't repot too early. Minimum after 5 to 6 month you need to repot..

Have few questions-
1. Where do we get good quality cactus seeds in India?
2. Do we need to put seeds in airtight container for full 3 months?
3. Do you also water them occassionly in these 3 months?
1.Just seach on fb there are lots of group related to plants and seeds selling .
2.Yes you need to keep untill they are not ready to shift to another pot.
3.Yes we have to check for the water in few weaks.. We just have to keep the media moisture. Not over watering.

Do you know the right temperature for them to germinate? I planted a few gym. Variegated and i think im going to use my stove to maintain 24 to 29C.

Use vermicompost to repot and spring is best time to repot. minimum temperature must be 28 degree.

If you Air tight your Container you don't need to water.. But when they grow they use water. So you need to check water in every 1 month.

Fungicide is a medicine for prevent plant from fungus and rot diseases.
You can purchase any fungiside powder and mix it with water..

After 2 to 3 month you can repot it and keep the same media if you want.. And for water just keep media moist. And it is best to use air tight container. So it create humidity thats cactus loves and you don't need to water it too much..

I have a few different cactus seeds but according to the guide iv been given with the kit, all it contained was a few tools (mini rake, spade, ect) but nothing about room temo to help germinate
Germination of seeds depends of the quality of Seeds.
Or if you water too much it will not germinate.

The coco-coir that was provided was watered to the point I could put a paper towl on it and still no mixture transfers
Just make your media.. With no more excess water . Seeds just needs moisture to germinate.
Or you can keep in morning sun for half hour.. To grow fast..
I didn't think about that, the sin is so weak here in the UK and only hits the windows at about 4:30 pm, so I'll try this one just use some black material iv got laying around to block all but a 5cm gap to let in a small amount of light
If the temperature iss too low.. It's very different to grow seeds..

Yes, no draining hole becz we don't have to water it too much, we just have to maintain a good moisture in it.
No need to add top layer. Because when you pack the box it already make a humidity and seeds starts to grow.
And if you want to cover the thin layar you can do. No problem.

Coctus Potting mix with vermiculite is good use can use and
If you want to add sand then just use only sand and nothing.

No. I have use contact and systemic fungicide.. Name saaf..

You can make hole.. But in my pot I don't need to water it. Becz water doesn't evapourate from it.. Thats the secret.. That the seeds will not rot in future..

Yes. Keep the sand in direct sunlight for 1 or 2 days.
It will sterilize your Sand. And then use it..it will kill all the bacteria.
