Kevin's logic makes sense but there's one thing wrong here: The Kiana we know and have seen is not a real Kaslana--she is a clone of Sirin and was bred to essentially hold and weaponize the Herrscher Cores. Even if she has resolved her inner demons, there is still the fact that the game's events were started because of her so, given her maturity and reolution, she seems like the person who will gladly resolve to seal herself away on the moon with the rest of the Honkai as atonement for her past deeds, interference from friends and family be damned. The fact she grasped the Kaslana philosophy so eagerly to be worthy of love in Siegfried's eyes would have made no difference if she was going to find out and regret her existence. Mei prodding Kevin on this makes no sense since Mei also knows Kiana is a clone.

(Durandal is their strongest and her power is like 1% of Kevin's) So he carries on with Stigma. But it's more like, he can't find other options than he is just a sadistic without feelings. Kevin doesn't want to do Stigma (You can read on one of his memories how devastating his mental state was when he got responsibility over Stigma. Su promised him he would do Valuka so Kevin wouldn't have to carry the weight of a genocide, and he thanks Su for not letting him carry this alone), that's why he let Su seal him in the Sea of Quanta without resistance. He spent thousands of years in there, waiting that Su would find another solution, but when he got out, he thought that nothing changed and Stigma is still the only option. (I think Su found the answer and died 2 years before Kevin got free). He is not a bad guy, he's just in despair. Well, according to the simulated Kevin, he will remain the same as long as he lives. That's why he gave an hypothetical answer, which is kinda on point too seeing how uninterested he is with his bloodline even at the present, as if he cut himself away so all sin ends with him.
@@koatuo the moment of the synced memories at ER is unknown, if you play ER up to fighting mobius, you will realize that they sync their memory periodically. The baby was given just before he entered the cyropod, I doubt he would have synced his memories into ER at that moment.
Wait, isn't that what Mei's literally doing right now? Kiana learned her lesson and relies on the people around her now, while Mei's still at WS doing who knows what, isolated from her friends.
It's a way to see it I guess. But Mei doesn't have a choice. Joining the serpents was her part in her contract with Kevin to save Kiana. If she didn't have joined them, they wouldn't help her. Kiana, on the other way, usually refused help from her friends and chose to carry everything alone because she was afraid of what Sirin might do to them. Plus now Mei is finding useful information on ER that she and the others girls can use to understand and fight future herrschers.
Well mei still trusts the girls like when they faced HoD, she knows that they can complete their mission. So even though mei herself has become the lone wolf, unlike kiana back then, she actually trusts in her friends no matter how dangerous the situation is.
To be fair it is Kiana's fault that Mei is at WS. Kiana wanted to kill herself after she found out about her being Sirin and as Sirin she killed millions in 2000 at 2nd eruption. If she accepted it sooner that she's Sirin and has to make things right like in ch25 Mei wouldn't need to leave

the reason why the kevin sim doesnt know why he has descendants was because the sim was made before mei died. when mei died, she created the baby using kevin and her genes. the elysian realm was made after the herrscher of binding(11th). Dr Mei died during the battle against the final herrscher(13th)

So you might want to: - Play the main story until the Herrscher of Domination arc ends (When Mei asks Kevin about past era) - Pause your journey through the main story and start elysian realm - Play all the chapters in Elysian realm (We have 3 chapters, if I'm not mistaken) - And then continue the main story until you reach Elysian Everlasting, where you can see how Elysian Realm story ends.

Kaslana is one of the three famous royal families of the Current Era, so I don't know what Mei expected. Nothing cultural survived the Previous Era, only the anti-Honkai measures Hua, Fuxi, and Nuwa taught everyone through Project Ember.

It's a way to see it I guess. But Mei doesn't have a choice. Joining the serpents was her part in her contract with Kevin to save Kiana. If she didn't have joined them, they wouldn't help her. Kiana, on the other way, usually refused help from her friends and chose to carry everything alone because she was afraid of what Sirin might do to them. Plus now Mei is finding useful information on ER that she and the others girls can use to understand and fight future herrschers.
Well mei still trusts the girls like when they faced HoD, she knows that they can complete their mission. So even though mei herself has become the lone wolf, unlike kiana back then, she actually trusts in her friends no matter how dangerous the situation is.

It's from the Elysian realm game mode. Evertime you finish one of the runs in there, you get one of these scenes with Mei interacting with one of the flamechasers.

@@Akira_shinsa Oh, I would recommend you start elysian after you finish the chapters of Herrscher of Domination arc (It's when the elysian realm take place in the story.), because the most recent arc in the current story, Elysian Everlasting, is like a conclusion for Elysian realm story, so you might get kinda lost if you play elysian realm after Elysian everlasting.
So you might want to:
- Play the main story until the Herrscher of Domination arc ends (When Mei asks Kevin about past era)
- Pause your journey through the main story and start elysian realm
- Play all the chapters in Elysian realm (We have 3 chapters, if I'm not mistaken)
- And then continue the main story until you reach Elysian Everlasting, where you can see how Elysian Realm story ends.

The Kaslana bloodline is made after him, using his and past era Dr. MEI Dna (That's why they are all really strong and have white hair - blue eyes). He is basically the strongest soldier of humanity and the strongest character within Honkai-verse (Honkai impact 3rd, not inclunding ggz), losing only to 14th herrscher. He used to be the leader of Flame-chasers/MANTIs soldiers on past era, but currently he is the leader of World Serpent/Jörmungandr organization (The same Mei, Raven and Jackal are part of right now), called "Sire" by them.
