This is still really fucking good lol. So much of the emotional tension in this episode was lost because of the official soundtrack being way too one-dimensional. Araki and WIT would’ve done something like this. A heartfelt glimmer right as the floodgates open. Letting the viewer decide if the scene is a moment of heroism or tragedy.

This song bringing a heroic vibe is kinda how Ymir felt in this scene. After so long of being the victim, there is finally someone there for her. Freeing her from the torment that she've endured. Eren was the hero in her eyes
