These end of year videos are goated
Agreed to my are my faves which the returned shows in year review like they did in 2018 for Raw,Smackdown and NXT but for Raw,SD and Dynamite 😀
Word
Love them, especially the predictions for the next year
@@thebigdog5269 let's not forget Oli predicted basically the Vince scandal this year😅
It’s gotta be Clash at the Castle for me. I travelled nearly 4 hours to see this show on my own and it was 100% worth it. The Sheamus/Gunther match, the emotion of Drew/Roman, the overall atmosphere of the show. I loved it!
Are you going to the aew ppv coming to London? I’m a wwe fan and aew fan. Just curious
For me, it's Clash at the Castle. I'm Welsh and live in Cardiff, and I've been a fan for 24 years. My brother and I got to go together and had a great time. I didn't like Drew losing, but the atmosphere and energy in that stadium had me smiling from ear to ear till the next morning.
After the show, I met up with a friend, who also went to the show, and he said something that brought the whole thing home: Cardiff just had a major show, and we were there to see it.
I've never been to Wrestlemania, but I was at Wales' first WWE's supershow. And as a Welsh wrestling fan, that means the world to me.
Also, singing Metalingus with everyone was f***ing electrifying!
yeah, I got to go to Royal Rumble 2019 and I feel the same way you do. there's nothing like going to a Big really Good show!
uH
Thank you wrestletalk for a amazing year you've been here for the good and bad times and for that I'm grateful thank you!
Clash was so good it made me resub to the WWE Network after just about 2 years. That show was incredible.
Yeah it was awesome still the best PLE in the Triple h era although Rumble could probably beat it😀
The fans made that PPV even better.
Lucky. I had to sub to Peacock...
I'm tempted to resub but I'm holding out with the rumours that Vince could return.
@@arvindshastry1178 💯 this. I totally agree with this. The fans definitely made this a big event with the reactions. They were definitely into it!
Forbidden door was my personal fav this year.
Ever since his first coffin match in Lucha Underground, I knew that Rey Fenix was going to be the king of that blood-soaked Lucha style.
He doesn’t pull it out often (and I’m glad for that) but when he does, it will always be an excellent showcase of what Rey and
Lucha Libre as a whole can do
Full Gear consistently has been one of my favorites the last few years.
Forbidden door for me first ppv I watched live in a longtime and I was satisfied with the entire show.
Same it’s the first show I’ve been to since before Covid and the crowd was so lively it definitely added tenfold to the show
This year was my first time watching WWE. I'm only watching the PPVs that Wrestletalk gets me hyped for. But this was my first time watching the Rumble, my first Mania, first Wargames and Summerslam.
I love AEW and my heart still belongs to Stardom and TJPW. But Sports Entertainment has it's draws and no one does Sports Entertainment like Mania. As great as all the wrestling was this year, some of my most enjoyable experiences were watching Vince McMahon kick a ball at a man a quarter his age after 'winning' a wrestling match only to take the worst stunner ever, but it doesn't matter because literally everyone is having a good time and everyone loves Stone Cold and watching Sami Zayn get hit by a big hand.
I would not be as into wrestling as I am without WrestleTalk. I would not be watching any WWE without WrestleTalk.
Thank you guys for all your content, hope y'all have a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year.
I lost these video's because it's always a good way to get insight on the guys favourite types of matches, wrestlers and PPV's. Very fun, very enjoyable 🙏🏽
Honorable mention for NXT Deadline. That PPV absolutely RULED
Full Gear was my favorite show of the year because I got to see it live. It was my first live AEW ppv and I can’t wait for them to have another one in NJ.
Clash at the castle ruled this year... A major milestone indeed
Goes full gear, forbidden door and clash at the castle top 3 for me this year
I watched Clash sat on the couch at home in the US and I still think it was the best show of the year, and thought so as soon as Solo and Roman walked up the ramp.
My Top 10 Best PPVs of 2022 so far:
1. WWE Clash at the Castle 2022
2. WWE Survivor Series 2022: Wargames
3. WWE Extreme Rules 2022
4. AEW Full Gear 2022
5. WWE Hell in a Cell 2022
6. AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2022
7. WWE WrestleMania 38
8. AEW Revolution 2022
9. NXT Takeover: Deadline
10. WWE SummerSlam 2022
The moment the show ended, Clash was PPV of the year, you just knew. Kind of sad nothing from NXT even got mentioned, but hoping with 2023 being fully with the gold and white look, more people will tune in again. It's a huge shame people ignored 2.0 just because of it's color scheme despite them putting on a lot of great shows this year.
@@Kr4ShSkeL thanks for your input, fortunately, we are not the same person so you thinking it's not top 3 changes nothing about me thinking it's the absolute best show of the year
@@LuvYT24 NXT Vengeance Day was a nice start.
I lost these video's because it's always a good way to get insight on the guys favourite types of matches, wrestlers and PPV's. Very fun, very enjoyable. Keep up the excellent work 🙏🏽❤️
Loved Clash at the Castle, great PLE 👍
Clash at the Castle ended with an enormous wet fart. I'm glad others think it's the best of the year, but I can't agree with that.
Another fun list
Really enjoying these end of year long video lists
Was very surprised that Extreme Rules made the top 10 cause even though I have it on my top 10 for the year mainly cause bray Wyatt returned
Wasn't expecting it to make wrestletalk's top 10
Impact should've had a ppv in the UK so it could have number 1 lol
I went into this year’s WrestleMania expecting so little, and got SO MUCH out of it!
If you could replace the Brock vs Roman @WM38 with the one @Summerslam, its gonna boost WM38 to the best event in history of human kind.
That Sonic sweater.🤌🤌
What's up with that thumbnail of Pete? He's never looked THAT happy before!😂 Happy Holidays, guys!
Honorable Mentions:
*WWE Hell in a Cell 2022
*NXT Takeover: Deadline
*NJPW G1 Climax 32 2022
As someone at the watch party I agree with number 1
I keep thinking Luke and Tempest are holding hands here lmao
Clash at the castle was epic, I was the same with not rushing out to buy tickets but so glad I did!
Finally! The Blackpool Content Club REUNITES!
My personal favorite moment or show was the rumble despite its awfulness... the rumble is always either on or around my birthday... and I had such a blast watching with my brothers and a few friends just yelling and having some drinks, and just as you guys said environment helps make a show in some cases. So flaws and all rumble is the one I had the most fun watching... wrestlemania was maybe my favorite.
Honestly I also really liked this year's hell in a cell... all the matches were fun was weird it was mostly a raw brand show with the exception of moss vs corbin,, but honestly hell in a cell was great cody vs Seth is one of my feuds of the year
Here to announce that AAA did in fact get their head out of their asses.
Vikingo will be on Dynamite NEXT WEEK
Clash was great, the Clash *Party* was phenomenal. Just off that, CotC is a worthy #1
A highlight of my year, no question.
More submissions than a night with Rhea Ripley.
Revolution was my ppv of the year. What a card?
I am glad I got to go and see clash at the castle live the atmosphere was electric and it was an amazing experience that I will never forget
Clash at the Castle and Forbidden Door deserve all the awards
Non-Patreon backer here. Clash at the Castle was the best show of the year by a mile.
Want to give some love to NXT World’s Collide and Deadline, they were really good shows that I enjoyed immensely. Slept on because it’s not the old NXT, but they’re enjoyable in their own way. For me, Clash would be number 1 followed by Forbidden Door. FD had the best in-ring quality, but Clash was the better experience, especially as I was in the arena that night!
I've been trying to tell people that NXT is starting to get back to its glorious self.
@@quinterriouskelly9671 I honestly think the current NXT is better than the dying days of black and gold (2020 onwards I would say); it's got a good mixture of great in-ring work and silly characters that makes it an entertaining watch!
No ROH Death before Dishonor and no NJPW Wrestle Kingdom ? Are you joking?
Clash of the castle great but not #1 I understand the uk bias and if I was in the uk I’d prob think the same cause the uk had not had a ppv in a while but full gear was 1 for me
I think Clash at the Castle was always going to be number 1.
2:55 i agree with that all three shows(Monterrey, Tijuana and Mexico City) were awesome especially the ruleta de la muerte matches
Good show fellas. Merry Christmas!
Is this technically an episode of Blackpool Content Club?
Very surprised that no NXT shows made the list, NXT worlds collide was a great show
NXT Deadline as well. It's because nobody takes NXT seriously anymore
Jam That Jam
Wrestletalk Can yall do a video about the history of the suzuki gun stable... With the group going the own ways... Such an important stable from NJPW
I'd love to hear Tempest wax poetically about Suzuki-Gun.
I might be a bit biased (i was there) but Wrestlemania 38 was the best show of the year.
For me No. 1 is Full gear and No. 2 is Forbiden door
Clash of the castle was a memorable show, It was the best PPV of the year in my opinion.
Watching this back, im surprised Capital Collision didn’t make it on
My friend went to it and he said it was ok
1. AEW Revolution
2. AEWxNJPW Forbidden Door
3. Clash At The Castle
4. AEW Full Gear
5. WM 38
6. ROH Final Battle
7. ROH Super-card Of Honor
8. AEW All Out
9. ROH Death Before Dishonor
10. Hell In A Cell
💯💯💯
FYI I don’t watch NJPW or AAA PPV so
that’s why there not on my list 💯💯💯
My PPV of 2022 is Forbidden Door 2022!
Such good content
Great year for wrestling
So many Clash at the Castle enjoyers
Luke Mexico is in North America my friend
I thought it was central America it came under
USA, Canada and Mexico make up North America
@@liverpoolchatsit's in Latin America but a part of North America (reason why Mexico is included in NXTs North American Championship)
1. Wrestlemania 2. Forbbiden door 3. Full Gear 4. CATC 5. I don’t know.
44.55 Tempest is correct 😁👍
I haven't watched this video yet but I'm sure they will give Ric flair's last match the respect it deserves.
All these wwe PLEs that would've been a 2 with Vince is just a 5 with HHH and everyone is over exaggerating thinking the shows were amazing. They weren't though. They were basic
FORBIDDEN DOOR BAYBEEEEE
Support WrestleTalk!
Summerslam better than DoN?? stop the cap
Am sorry but clash of castle the best PPV hands down
Impact deserves better
Extreme rules is surprising to me to see on the list
Ronda vs liv was bad
Drew vs Kross was not to good over all
And apparently I'm the only one who doesn't like finn vs edge ( it's fine over all, but to long)
Bray's return carried what was to me just an ok show
Rumble is one of my shows of the year just cause of the environment I watched in... was the day before my birthday. Had my brothers all over a few friends we had a great night despite the awful show... yes a pretty bad Show.
Like the list honestly would’ve had either AEW Revolution or Forbidden Door as #1 but had to say I do agree with tempest that multi night shows like WM and WK should be counted by nights and not overall cause I see others list do it like that 💯❤💯
42:47 wtf just stop Tempest.
Clash of the castle was biased💯. A good show but not #1. I would have been happy with either Full Gear or WrestleMania @ #1
Yeah, Clash of a Castle was *NOT* the best ppv of the year.
I understand the bias, but don't act like there's none.
2 words for worst match and worst PLE - ROYAL RUMBLE
say what you mean and mean what you say. @Tempest and Luke and Pete. It's annoying
Full gear or revolution were better than Clash. Bad list 👎
toxic wrestletalk at it again
THE WWE BASIS IS CRAZY…SURVIOR SERIES WAS WEAK AS HELL…THE ENDING ELEVATED IT??? YEAH RIGHT…CLASH AT THE CASTLE “ENDING” DIDNT DEVALUE THE SHOW???…HECK YEAH…BUT ITS NUMBER 1???…KNOCK IT OFF
gonna cry?
And the winner is.....
