Hello, I am wondering if you have a recommendation for a great choice of job that is interesting and constantly gives you options to travel and learn new skills, diving skills, pirating the pirates, and seeing the beauty of life, and would prefer to be in small groups rather then big groups. I want to join the navy but do not want to waste my time traveling to the same places or being stuck traveling the same route. I would like to find something exiting in the action and hands on something to write home about! Hope to hear back from you soon and please rack your brains on this one or lead me to someone who is still currently serving. Thank you for your service! 🤝
Psychometric test is easy it's the same level as GCSE questions... don't worry, and if you fail your chosen role requirement for the psychometric test you can choose a lesser leveled position, I think the only one you should care about is your commitment and knowledge of the navy in Britain. Plus the Fitness run , train now to pass the running test , most people fail it the first time; you will have 3 attempts
Babatunde Swana the maths are simple, just formula patterns , if you were taking a Submariner position maths is more critical, but for you focus on communications and the mechanical section of the test , when I took mine: my question sheet had the answers in the maths book written down, so weird yet I still worked them out my self, I told the AFCO assessors but they just ignored it

What is your job role in the royal navy? I have just applied for the Royal navy. I'm worried about psychometric test

Babatunde Swana I am a former Liutenenant Submariner, nuclear weapons and energy engineer. (Commanding Officer) H.M.S Astute
Hi mate whats your job role?
Most likely above water warfare
Hi Mate are you royal marines or another branch?
What’s his role seaman specialist?
Do you get wifi on board?
Doesn't matter they don't get to use their phones in their spare time they are on deployment
Not onboard for their phones because it’s a important job probably when they are in port as you can go out to bars and stuff
What role is this ?
I’m asking same question

Seaman warfare specialist I think
Is this the British Royal Navy?
Yes.
So your a warfare specialist
pretty sure hes a stoker
How do you become part of the boarding party do you have to be in a Pacific branch or is it open to everyone? I want to join as a seaman specialist
royal marines are the boarding teams now, its 43 commando fleet protection group on them seaman specialist just drives the rib
Anyone can be apart of the boarding team. Usually warefare specs one marine engineer and weapons engineers also a sea spec to drive the rib
What job do you do
pretty sure he’s a seaman specialist
Can you use your phones when your in your bunk?
Not your phones as much but your allowed laptops on your time off in the mess and your bunks. Somtimes even when your on duty during the night
if your worried if you can go on your phone then don’t bother applying
