  • Utthita Parsvakonasana, or Extended Side Angle pose, is one of the fundamental standing postures of the Ashtanga Yoga sequence.
    And it’s one of my all-time favourites!
    Some of the physical benefits of this pose include:
    - A juicy stretch down the side of the body
    - Strengthening the legs
    - Increasing mobility in the hips
    In this video, I’m going to talk you through some variations suitable for beginners. Then I'll show you how to do the full version as well as giving my favourite tips and cues to help you find steadiness and ease in the posture.
