      How is it?

    • @MrDanielmahaniel
      @MrDanielmahaniel 4 роки тому +2

      @@HKBuilderDIY I’ll give it a solid 5/5. For gaming on an original Xbox one, switching between mw warzone and Cold War would take sometimes like 2 full minutes, GTA V was horrendous. With the ssd I’ve noticed great improvements in switching between games with in-game bridges to other games (don’t know if that made sense) and also just way faster general game startup times. Of course once you load up your game and enter a multiplayer matchmaking service, most of the loading speeds will be due to your internet connection, but still for starting up games and multitasking on the Xbox one-fantastic. Now to see how long 1TB will last since I don’t play many games anymore.
      Ps my ssd does tend to get a little warm, borderline hot when I’m gaming for 3+ hrs at a time. It is called Sandisk extreme portable ssd, also comes in 500GB

      @HKBuilderDIY 4 роки тому

      @@MrDanielmahaniel did it come with a 3.0 usb? Or is it is 3.1 or type C? (Looking @ them up now to buy but 500gb and 1tb have different usb connections)

    • @MrDanielmahaniel
      @MrDanielmahaniel 4 роки тому +1

      @@HKBuilderDIY it’s comparable with usb 3.1, 3.0, 2.0 and it comes with a female type C to male A adapter, since the cable included is dual ended type C. After formatting to my Xbox one, I had 966 GB free on the ssd. Still working great.

      Yes and no. Yes: On Xbox Series X|S, your external HDD and SSD Game Drives can be used to play thousands of Original Xbox, Xbox 360, and Xbox One classics while serving as high-capacity Game Vaults for Xbox Series X|S titles. No: Games optimized for Xbox Series X|S require the Xbox Velocity Architecture. When you’re ready to play those-just transfer them from your external HDD or SSD to your internal SSD or Storage Expansion Card.

    I cracked open a broken 4TB seagate xbox HDD and took the adaptor off it.I put the adaptor onto a regular internal 1TB SSD and it works just fine with my xbox one. Load times are in my opinion on a par with my series x load times. Also I think there is more to "see" in the game as the console can load the content in quicker. I have also noticed that in multiplayer games I can sprint faster than some other players and even catch up to them and overtake them all because of this SSD.

Sure you have to wait like 10 minutes for some bigger games but it’s better than spending the extra money for an SSD that still can’t play enhanced games

    • @CpTn_QwRk

      It isn’t useless if you’re only using the HDD for storage. Some people would rather have the Huge storage space for any game and have no issue transferring optimized games, which takes little time. The SSD is just way too expensive for such little space even if it does run optimized games on the fly.

      @seagate  3 роки тому

      Hi there!
When you’re ready to play those-just transfer them from your external HDD or SSD to your internal SSD or the Seagate Storage Expansion Card for Xbox Series X|S.

Never touch after installation, then one day the light on the drive wasn't turning on when I turned on my xbox when I had a look on my laptop to see what was wrong with it it said a fatal device occurred really and I've look everywhere but everyone says that the drive is dead if you get a message like that which is disappointing I've sent it back for a refund and will not be buying a Seagate drive again.
