The 1955--56--57 Chevy,s two door could be built today and the demand would out strip supply A beautiful car and a lucky dad whose family obviously loves him 57,s forever
JJ n Amy Montoya, Thank you so much for your comments! I am the dad (Papapinto) in the video and every time I watch it I still tear up. I had a BEST crew working on my car!
Outstanding Job, Your a great son, There's nothing better than sharing special days with our Dad's like this, I had the same when I gave him back his restored 57, which he owned for 50 years. Well done.
Beautiful car. So glad you put normal sized tires and wheels on it instead of those silly 18 inch rims with about an inch of rubber between the rim and the street.
Your dad's reaction was priceless, You could just tell that he got all those good memory flashbacks as soon as he saw the car of his youth! Great work!
It's a very kind attitude! how to see his farther (a chubby bear) touching and crying finding out his dream in real! it's good to see a human reaction in this world...
Tony...what you did for your Dad was so truly heroic; so wonderful; so full of love and compassion.....I'm crying here.....Thank you so much for bringing us this amazing, touching video. What a loving family! And, a totally dangerously cute car!!
Beautiful car. Beautiful colour. Beautiful gesture from son to father. What a memory captured on camera for future generations of the family. Btw, that green car at 04:17 also looks amazing.
HA!!! You live here in SIMI with us! Nice I seen your dad's car at the cruise nights. Slick ride. I am the kid with the 70' camaro in bumble bee colors.
You bought a tear to my eyes... What you have done for your "pops" is just the ultimate father & son bonding experience! Well done mate, great to see the family love that exists in your
Wow!! Speechless!!! What an amazing job and what a great group of guys. It made me tear up when his Dad first saw it. Bravo Donny, Gregg, Junior, and Sid!!
My Dad bought my first car back in 1985, and it is a great satisfaction to buy him by surprise a brand new car, Early this year I took him to the dealer and asked him help me choose a car and color, and at the end I revealed the car was his. It is nice!
Nice........Loved the music too. Just got mine done last year, it took me 9 years, could only give so much money and I did a lot of the work myself. Have fun...Go 57 !! Bobby
Thank you so much for your reply! I hope you enjoy your 57 as much as I do mine! Mine took 14 years to get it where it is today! I would love to see pictures. Papapinto57@gmail.com
good deal man, i wish my dad was still around so i could do something like this for him, he was a good man, you never know what you have till its gone.
Belated Birthday wishes PapaPinto!!! What a great gift the restored '57 Chevy Bel Air was from your family. I am moved by the way all of you have handled the negative remarks about your lil' princess who was so happy to see her daddy. You showed a great deal of restraint but more you showed how real men react to rudeness. Easy to see the love in your family runs deep. That is something to celebrate!! May God bless you with many years with your beautiful family (& driving that Chevy !!). ;o)
This is awesome man! You guys are really cool doing this for your dad! I hope that I get an opportunity to do something like this for my dad, his favorite was always the 55 Chevy. I'm sure you guys will never forget that day, how cool!
That is one of the most beautiful engines I have ever seen. What a beauty ! Not sure about the color of the car, but that engine would make any color look cool.
OMG what a car. I would die for a car like that. Love the cut out for the exhaust too. You have a great family there sir . I would be a happy person if they built cars like this in London when I was a kid. When I was 19 in 1979 I did own for a short while a Plymouth Sport Fury. Did I get heads turning when I opened that up. Couldn't afford to run it in the end. You guys get a much better deal on your fuel.
That Car rocks and I would be very surprised If I had one.I was only 2 and half years old on 57 and don"t even remebred those cars,But I ve seen them in Museums.Pretty cool and colorful.
I was born in the 90's, yes; I am a millenial... I wish I lived in the 50's, truly a beautiful decade with some of the most wonderful cars ever made. Much better than the new angry-headlight bullshit we see on baseline models practically EVERYWHERE these days.
Son, you are a good man; you stuck to your word. Your dad isn't saying much. I wonder if he's thinking he should have treated you better as a kid. :). :) Congratulations to you Tony.
I've never seen an engine with that much chrome on it before the '57 Chevy is the king of collectible classic cars
I wish my dad was still alive I would love to bring back the old Nash
The 1955--56--57 Chevy,s two door could be built today and the demand would out strip supply A beautiful car and a lucky dad whose family obviously loves him 57,s forever

Without question, the 57 is the best looking of the Tri-Fives. You will never convince me otherwise. This one is SWEEEEET!
JJ n Amy Montoya, Thank you so much for your comments! I am the dad (Papapinto) in the video and every time I watch it I still tear up. I had a BEST crew working on my car!

Man, I was born in The wrong generation...
The older cars are the best looking by far..... this Chevy is one of them! Cool Video..
Christ, that's a beautiful car. It's hard to think of any modern vehicles that will inspire the same sort of longing in people 40 years from now.
Outstanding Job, Your a great son, There's nothing better than sharing special days with our Dad's like this, I had the same when I gave him back his restored 57, which he owned for 50 years. Well done.

I like the simple and clean look of this way more than all the stuff they do to cars on shows like overhaulin'. Those kragars make the whole car.
