#MemorialDay #HonorThem #InThisTogether
For all soldiers….dead or alive, those whose bodies were never found. To all unknown soldiers. To all who bled for the man next to him. Those who died alone and forgotten.
Beautiful 💕
As a US Army vet ..........can say I would like this played for myself....
Takes a strong individual to play something so beautiful and haunting for warriors world wide. Especially our own…
All veteran soldier who sacrifice thier live in the battlefield.we give this song to you all to live with the god in heaven.
Words fail me ( it touches the soul )
true
To fallen soldiers let us sing
Where no rockets fly nor bullets wing
Our broken brothers let us bring
To the mansions of the Lord
#No more bleeding, no more fight
No prayers pleading through the night
Just divine embrace, eternal light
In the mansions of the lord
#Where no mothers cry
And no children weep
We shall stand and guard through the angels sleep
While through the ages safely keep
The mansions of the lord
Is so nice to come and Play for their fallen colleagues and I know they can hear that.
One day I will play this at my grandpa's grave because he was like a father to me and he was a marine in Vietnam. Just like you said I'm sure that he'll hear it. I miss him.
I was at the Fort Benning redesignation ceremony when it was renamed in honor of LTG Moore and his wife. Fort Moore then showed We Were Soldiers for free that weekend and I watched it for the first time. It was such an excellent film that depicted the travesty not only of the men on the battlefield, but also the travesty of the families who sacrificed everything so that their country could be free
That's right!! We should always show honor and respect to those who have given their lives for our freedoms in this greatest country in the world!! UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!
I stand for the flag, I kneel to the Cross!!
I Love this piece. First time I heard it and saw Mel Gibson playing the Lt. Cornel standing there after the battle crying, I had to learn this piece. Being a trumpet/cornet player for many years I play it in honor of all those who fought and died for my right to be free. Even while playing it, tears fall down my face. I'll always remember those brave men and women and end with the Greek saying, "All men are immortal, and those who are good are immortal and divine".
Where in the video is he crying?
@@theironworker-TOPR Not in the video of the trumpet ensemble playing. In the movie, after the battle. Gibson, with tears in his eyes, tells the reporter that he has to tell the story of how his troopers died. What they died for. The movie then skips to the scene where Gibson is at the Wall Memorial where the names of the soldiers who gave up their lives is posted, and the trumpet plays the main theme of "Mansions Of the Lord".
@@rpthomasroenne9314 Okay I get it now, thank you.
@@rpthomasroenne9314 also i am a trumpet player too, nice to see a fellow trumpet player.
in august after this reply i will be in 9th grade, stay strong
@@theironworker-TOPR I appreciate your reply and say in respect of your youth, you are just beginning the road toward adulthood. I do not say this to belittle but to honor your insight at such a young age. Wars are fought by young people mainly due to the fact that they think very little about dying, but winning. Durning WWII General Patton addressed his troops before the landings on the Moroccan coast, "Americans love a winner, and will not tolerate a looser." I hope you never have to be called to defend this great country, but if called do your best. To honor those who have gone before you.
Pulls at me every time I hear this....
Beautiful and soulful. Thanks to all who serve.🇺🇸
First time hearing this I didn't really feel emotion while listening and I was in 6th or 7th grade (1 or 2 years before the grandfather that I was closest to died). Now though... it's different. My grandfather and I were close and he was like a father to me. He was also in the marines during Vietnam. He died September 23rd, 2021. he was a man of god and a major role model in my life. I go to his grave every once in a while in a similar graveyard to this video. Now that I have gone through that I'm a little bit tougher. Anyways, I watched this recently and I couldn't help to grieve (in the form of crying) a little. This is an emotional piece of music and it deserves every bit of respect it gets.
The old glory fades and passes away. There shall come a New Glory which never fades and a Light which never grows dim.
Beautiful...what an amazing sound and blend.

Outstanding. On this Memorial Day may the souls of our brave men and women who died in military service to this nation know how truly grateful were are for their sacrifice, and the freedom it has granted us. May they also know how deeply they are loved and missed.
