I am usually the type to point out people can wear their makeup how they want but I swear I see girls who look like they are trying to do "blackface" which I know they aren't (hopefully) but it just looks so unnatural. You can tell without the contouring and fake tan they aren't that dark skinned naturally.

When I think of what Korean make up looks like, this is what I see. Natural, pale, lightly blushed, glowy/dewy. It's so different to western make up
right? so subtle and gorgeous.
I do wonder if the beauty of this look it has a lot to do with face shape and features.
I don't think I could pull this off anywhere near as well with my heavier, more protuding western features... seems more conducive to a more sculpted look, whereas this style of beauty is delicate, flat, veil-like.

Live over there and it's a little different. She is gorgeous! But Korean makeup is CAKED on foundation that it MUCH too pale. Like the makeup looks a little crusty. Liquid eyeliner in a wing.
When done right it looks nice, but it's a little boring. Most of them don't even need foundation. So it's nude lipstick with a little gloss and eyeliner, thin black... nothing wrong with it, but why just not wear it at all?

'Melia G. Yeah but SOME Koreans are influenced with western makeup if you check some tutorials. Tan skin, contacts, contour, little bit arched eyebrows but shaped with concealer around it. I recommend watching those Korean gurus cuz they breaking boundaries there as well.

love this tutorial but make sure you guys don't mix nail glitter or craft store glitter with vaseline and put it on your eye because if it's not glitter that is meant for your eyes it could get in there and the particles can cut into your eye so be safe and use makeup glitter ty :3

There's no such thing as glitter that is meant for your eyes. Cosmetic glitter isn't safe for use in the eye area and isn't approved by the FDA or any health/safety board, only by the makeup industry itself. Companies show products being used on the eyes but the fine print absolutely says it's not meant for your eyes.
so what kind of glitter are we supposed to use? is there any specific name for it? also my skin is brown so i dont know if it will work on me but i really want to try it. I always loved this kind of look to be honest

Like I look at myself and feel like a different person...not knowing if its a good or bad thing. Yes! American makeup artists say "I'm going to put this under my eye," and they'll not only put it under their eyes, but they'll also put it all over their cheeks for no reason. It's way to excessive and most likely bad for their skin.
Its a way that endorsers show you should use more make up so you will have to buy more.. 30 grams concealer is like good for 3x use, while its very expensive...
Ya its horrible the way folks uses the conciler. Furst foundation and tgen the same amount of an conciler. And if you hit the head from behind, hers or hes face fall off!
I love how she applies her makeup. It feels like applying paint to a canvas, which is essentially what make up is. Specialized paint for skin for your canvas that expresses who you are as a person, and I think that’s absolutely beautiful.

Use Korean acne products! It's helped me so much. I didn't have tons of pimples but stubborn, near-constant ones. Realized it was because my skin was so thirsty, so hydration, hydrating products and Cosrx acne patches and pads have helped so much.
Do a good morning and night skin care routine.. and take skin products according to your skin type.. and do the routine on daily basis..
