Did you appliqué your wool to the background with wool thread. There doesn’t seem to be any in the pack and I wondered whether I needed to buy them as an extra. Love your videos. Thanks for making them especially as I’m left handed too 😊
Hi, to appliqué the wool pieces in place is that blanket stitch? The book just says appliqué in place then chain stitch on the background, nothing about blanket stitch.
Correct, no blanket stitching in Sue Spargo designs. You will use wool thread in a matching color to whipstitch your pieces in place first. Then, following the instructions, you will embroidery the applique according to the stitches she’s given. Hope that helps. If you have anymore questions, please let me know.
I’m in the UK so have contacted the shop where I am enrolled and they’ve told me the wool threads are extra. Thanks for your reply
