if you are intrested to know, the word that hacked on the blade is a Persian/arabic common name: "Hassan". which means Handsome/Good/benefactor in English. nice restoration btw. love & Respect 🙏👍👊🤍
Hello brother, have a good night. I am a brave servant from Iran, and Hasan is the master craftsman and maker of this sword. Sincerely, Behnam Shabgirnia
Excellent restoration and you did a wonderful job restoring it as well!!! The scabbier looks 1000% better. I hope I'm mistaken that you are saying this is from the bronze age! It doesn't look no where from that age by no way. So I hope I'm wrong. It's in to go of condition to be very old, I would think it's even more that 30 years old. But you did a wonderful job restoring it!!! Enjoyed your video and I gave it a Thumbs Up for the support of your channel
Definitely not an old sword. Definitely not a real sword. That's cheap wall hanger, probably not even dating back to the late 90's. The rat tail tang is a dead giveaway this was never meant to be used as anything more than a decoration. Same with the round grip.
This complete "restoration" is ridiculous. You could also make a new sword this way.
I hope your use of heat twice did not ruin the blades temper. Though the polished look brought out the etchings, please do not go overboard with it and take away the blades history! Nice save of the scabbard! But the interior of it needs to be cleaned of the rust that can ruin your hard work.
kinda ugly sword, but you made the best out of it I guess. The guard looks like someone wants to make a japanese looking sword, but the handle looks more like a part of a german candle holder. I'd keep the blade and replace the rest, since its not that old. 😅
Why, by the way, it is very old and had no rust at all. It stayed in the corner of a warehouse for a while, and since our area is very humid, it became like this. Thank you again for your comment, dear friend.
Interesting use of a chair leg for that handle. Nice restoration.
Thank you 🙏
Great video! Watched it with pleasure! I advise everyone to watch!!!!
Thank you bro

Nice job😉😍

That's looks more like tuna slicing knife (too weak handle core for battle sword), any way great job.
Yes, it is like that, but it is called a sword modification because of its length. Thank you

Hello front England. I collect antique swords. I'm afraid that your "sword" is not an antique.
I am not going to encourage you to be afraid, my friend
Nice
❤️
I am just grateful that you didn't call it a katana
Thank you 🙏
Super
🙏❤️thank you
You broke my heart using a grinder and a file on the poor thing. But I guess it was not an expensive one anyway.
Thank you 🙏
When using a grinder or file on an old object, it is no longer restoration but destruction.
But do not worry, it has almost no value.
Thank you for your opinion, maybe you think so!
Thank you 🙏
@@BourBon92 thank you
@@stycs78 thank you
No bro
No way you get that edge sharp like that with just a iron veil and sandpaper.
Rest assured, if I had a tool for sharpening, I would use it in the film. I can do all these things with minimal tools.
The handle looks like a 1950 era chair leg?
😁😁
Nice work, Now the sword is brand new, suitable to continue cutting arabic heads. ....I guess
No, it is not at all appropriate to do such a thing, why should one do such a thing??!!
Yes, this is a remake

🙌🤷🏻♂️
Katana?
No
