If i am just streaming my webcam and maybe another window of say my desktop but not playing a game and I have download of 900 and upload of 70 what would cause my stream to buffer? I am using x264 i have a Radeon Phantom AMD graphics card and if I use that setting instead it seams like it performs worse, I have a AMD Ryzen 7 2700X Eight-Core Processor 3.70 GHz as well. not sure if you could help figure out why my stream is still dropping frames and sometimes buffering. I have everything set up exactly like you have shown. thanks in advance
So i have just adjusted to 1280x720 30fps but im using a zephyrus g14 laptop. My streams were really good in the begginning w/1080 and 6000bit rate and 60fps then it started to drop the frame rate. What should be the suggested stream setting cuz im still confused
What's up dude thank you for the help I did my upload check came out at 10mbps you recommended putting the bitrate on 8000 which I have done started streaming but my kb/s is between 5500 and 7000 at 1080 60fps is that good?
In case you still care, if your streaming very fast moving footage then 5000 isnt enough, and the reason it might be saying 5000-7000 in your kb/s might be cause you streaming to twitch, and it normaly allows a little over 6k but no more unless if you partnered, partners will allow you to do 8k. It might also be cause your using VBR insted of CBR in your output settings. this is the reason that most people use 720p to stream, cause the bitrate isnt as great for 1080p on twitch. UA-cam can handle a very high bitrate though. Also most phone users cant load a 5k+ bitrate stream with out lag so thats another reason why most people use 720p to stream.
I have a question. So I stream at 720p 30 FPS. When I scale up to 1080 60 frames my stream preview starts to skip. Does this mean my pc hardware is not strong enough? Side note I have 1000 down 60 up speeds. Please help. I have a i7 8700 and a rtx 1080ti. Outdated hardware?
my MPS download is 292.6 My Mbps Upload is 350.6 can i run mines at 1080p cause when i try to on twitch, my videos be running on 720p and im trying to fix that 🤔
Hi I record on Elgato game capture card in 60 FPS but when I edit it then upload to UA-cam it’s not super clear could I be doing something wrong when I render the video? Love the videos 🙂
Check the bitrate and resolution. If you're only recording, you can get away with a much higher bitrate. If you're streaming you're kinda stuck with the bitrates in this video. For recording 1080p 60fps, I use 40,000kbps bitrate. For streaming, I cannot handle 1080p 60fps and so I do 30fps instead and I use 4,000kbps bitrate.
So my pc when i start streaming the kbs is like 1000 or 600 and doing horrible but when i test my pc speed my upload is 12 so i don't know what's wrong
every time i see these video talking about "Speed Testing the internet" they are always very low. but mine is like 275mbps and im not sure if im checking the right thing or my internet is crazy fast
Can anyone please help me to fix this problem? settings are set to 1920x1080, but as soon as I start the stream, streamlabs will automatically change my settings to 1152x648 I've been trying to solve this problem for 3+ hours, but I can't find a solution anywhere on the internet. So I want to ask if anyone happened to have a similar problem? Thanks for help
Hey I'm having a problem, this seriously helped my frames be consistent but pixels seem to, what would be the word, drag kind of. I downscaled it down to 720p and did everything but the pixels seem to drag and it just doesn't look good.
on twitch 6k bitrate is the highest you can go, but on youtube you can go way further, but after 15k the difference in quality will be almost non existent unless if you have fast moving footage
I love how you just got straight to the fucking point. Thank you!
Great vid, really helpful. Audio engineer here!!! The audio bitrate can go up to 320 ( best quality ) like mp3 the lower the poorer the audio quality
Thank you so much! Your info has made my stream look 10 times better!
Great to hear!
Gonna try this in an hour to see how my stream improves. Thank for the help, hope it works!

If I happen to have 300+ upload speed, is there any benefit to changing bitrate to an excessive amount?

Does high bitrate works for Facebook as well as the recommended bit rate on FB is 4000 only
THANK. YOU. i didn't know the only thing i had to do was to set my bitrate to 5000 ;-;
much appreciated, bro. helped out a lot!

unfortunately not

the video bitrate encoder for me it shows that I have Hardware (AMD) should I choose that over (software x264)?
I do x264 and it works perfectly fine
what happens if your upload is 700? What do you put your kbps at?
nice bro!
What if my upload is 49,7 Mbps?

my speed test came to 720mbs ? so what do i put it at????
My upload is 40mbps does this mean I can put 20000 or 10000? For 1080p 60?
Twitch caps non partners at 6000
so if i have 300mb/s download and upload can i use 1080p 60fps with 8000bitrate or should i use more?
