Great timing. Was just practicing sliping/ rolling and getting so out of breath. No I wasnt holding my breath im 52 years old so legs and lungs aint like they used to be. Great channel with so many fantastic tips. Gonna join a boxing gym after lockdown and get back into boxing. Wish me luck!
Good luck - but I doubt that you'll need it. It seems like you already have a ton of determination and spirit, so what do you want us to wish you luck for? 🤔 Anyways, good luck on your way, Daniel!
I’ve been doin this after every session on my own and i can’t believe how much better i got with the slipping and ducking in between combinations. Thank you for this 👊🏻
This is much harder than it looks!!! wat brilliant drill, exactly what I was looking for!!! I struggled with the last one, but after enough practice, I'll get the hang of it💪🏻All the best, Fellow Kings & Queens!!!
ive been training for 7 months so far an i always felt my punches , feints an footwork were getting by the day but i still felt i was missing something everytime i threw a punch . i tried these drills an INSTANTLY noticed a difference in my form an technique . im going to be doing these everyday now . Thank You 🙂
Thank you so much. I'm 55 and Iv'e been doing Muay Thai for 12 years and Iv'e incorporated these drills and let me tell you during sparring one of the much younger student I was training with threw a hard jab I slipped and when he missed he over extended his arm and he told me his arm was in pain. Thanks to your drills I've been able to slip sharper and return punches and kicks more effectively. Again, thank you sir for showing us your top notch boxing skills. It is greatly appreciated.
Im 56 yrs old, joined a boxing/cardio fitness gym about a month ago, already can tell the difference, ran across your channel, will definitely use your techniques..Thank you, will get back with you on the results
I've noticed that whenever I slip, I tend to "over slip" meaning my slips are too exaggerated and there's a big gap between my slip and the opponent's punch. I've heard that you should only slip just enough to clear the punch so that you can still be in a position to counter punch. Hopefully, this video will help. Thank you Coach Van Veld Huysen!!
@@mostafakamar76 the distance you move your slip from the center line generally is about the size of a glove. When/if you start sparring you're going to overdo it. Happens to everyone. It's also a perishable skill like everything else in boxing, so you have to constantly work it to keep it fresh. Record everything you do with a camera, you'll improve much faster.
I wasn't sure about you when I stumbled across this channel a few months ago but I'm pleased to say I'm lovin your work now. And more importantly getting a bit fitter. Thanks from the UK.
Wow! This is the real deal. I started in the fast lane and ended in the slow lane. Those rolls were killer! You are definitely in shape talking and doing head movement. 👍👍👍👊
This is exhausting. I always do 4 rounds of your handspeed drills, 2 videos of your shadow boxing, I could run 10km every 2 days, but this drill takes a lot of my energy, specially the 3rd drill.
Your audio is messed up when you speak. Hearing your punches, and hearing you swing is phenomenal. I can hear the effort you put into these punches in practice, and I can hear when to exert strength and when to return to guard. These drills for amateurs are amazing as hell. I love it. I recommend your channel to anyone I know. Hands down one of the best youtube teachers out there. You can be a little difficult to understand when speaking normally. It's not necessarily an echo, but it sounds like you're speaking in an auditorium. It's a little distracting. I love your channel. To say you do good work is an understatement. Maybe you'll never see this comment, but I love your work.
@Prescision Striking this is exactly what I needed. Thank you for this drill! I'll be putting it into my training program and I'll tell you how it goes in sparring at the end of the month. You are a machine and I see the technique and work that you've put in.
Im late for the party but i stumbled upon this video and ive been doing this for the past few weeks. Really helps since ive been practicing the peekaboo style while having a slipped disc in my lumbar and this has been a great help in strengthen it as well. Thanks a lot!!
Man I just recently found your channel, I freakin love your content brotha! your stuff is gr8! Keep em comin and keep up the good work! Hats off to you!
Did this as extra work after a muay thai workout - this was way harder than expected. Thanks as always! Awesome drill. I don't tbi k enough coaches, especially online, offer enough regarding the important drills, let alone defense, like this.
I just did this like literally rn working in my hooks my form so thank you for this workout I’ll be replaying this for about a month until I get my hook up there🥊💪
I appreciate this as many people even pro fighters think they got it like that. This what smart boxing about if you want longevity. Love your training videos they always got value information for boxers pro and beginner level. People don’t understand this all you really need at a proficient level *Side note we got the same pants color and everything lol*
I've been doing this for a week and I must say I'm already seeing the results thanks a million coach.
That's what I like to hear, great work!

Exactly, this area of boxing needs it's own focus.
Good luck - but I doubt that you'll need it. It seems like you already have a ton of determination and spirit, so what do you want us to wish you luck for? 🤔

You're a amazing crack bro!! One of the three best boxing channels that I saw in UA-cam. Keep on going 👊

hey j i am training alone rn, so how do you measure smth like the effectivness of your slips.

Dopest boxing channel on here! Thanks 🙏🏽 for your content brother!
All of your videos are keeping me going through COVID lockdown with all the gyms closed. I will stick with them even when the gyms are open again 🙂
This is by far my favourite one of your videos! Well/delivered.
This is exhausting. I always do 4 rounds of your handspeed drills, 2 videos of your shadow boxing, I could run 10km every 2 days, but this drill takes a lot of my energy, specially the 3rd drill.
Sir are the best coach ,pls make same video in which foot movement is clearly visible ,then it will be very beneficial.

have you stuck to it? and if so, how quickly did you notice improvements in your game?
This is awesome I just wish I could see down to at least your knees for the slip line part. Your movement and precision is crazy good.
Great drills. Just what I needed. Thanks 🙏👍🏼
