The Black Dahlia Murder - Statutory Ape Playthrough

  • Enjoy a low production value hotel room jam of Statutory Ape! Did my Patreon lesson this week on all my parts including the solo. Also with an entire slow speed playthrough at the end of the full lesson!
    A couple nights before the tour I sawed off a cutaway into this old travel guitar to access the high frets better, hahah! It still isn't the easiest guitar to play. And my little Donner practice amp doesn't sound too great, but enjoy anyways, working with what I got!

    I’ve never seen someone tremolo pick so effortlessly.

    • @maynardburger
      @maynardburger Рік тому +18

      Because he's not really changing up his technique much like a lot of people do. So many guitarists try and develop a 'trick' tremolo technique instead of just building up the speed of their traditional alternate picking. It's also why his sounds so much more precise than most, cuz he's not just blazing as fast as his hand/wrist can go, it's controlled. Obviously this is the harder way, requiring more effort and time, but it gets better results.
