The Black Dahlia Murder - Wereworm's Feast Guitar Playthrough
Вставка

- Broke out the Snake Kelly to play through the Wereworm's Feast instrumentals, this song has got that dark rock swagger 🤙
The prog breakdown at the end always makes me grimace, Alan's drumming murders that part 💪.

If Brandon was around in the 80s he’d be a legend
Better yet, he’s around right now and IS a legend.
@@josephcastro3058 agree!!🤘
Are you insinuating this sounds like 80s music??
Probably woulda had better titles and music structure too
@Tony Barber his style is heavily fluenced by 80s playing, you can hear it in his vibrato and overall soloing style
Best modern metal guitar player BY FAR! what a beast 🤘🏼
For real! One of the only modern players that consistently motivates me to practice.
Also here before the "but what about X guitarist?" comments
@@JuniperF but what about lil wayne or MGK??? Jeez...
Not just a killer player, he has interesting harmonic and melodic concepts that are also stylistically appropriate.
Jason Richardson
Heartbroken to hear about Trevor, an inspirational lyrcist and vocalist to the metal scene 💔 All of the BDM is so uniquely talented.. stay strong ❤
My deepest condolences to TBDM! Trevor will be missed! 🤘🏼☹️ Rest in power!
I can't believe he's gone. You changed my life Trevor, and you will be missed.
Trying to determine what's better...this man's riffs or his gear collection...both are absolutely epic!!
Of course his skills. Everyone can buy stuff, very few become as good as him.
@@Amber57499 So very true! But having such an arsenal with that talent though. Undeniably nasty
When you play in one of the greatest fucking AMERICAN DEATH METAL bands ever you can afford some good gear.
A video showcasing his collection would be absolutely amazing.
So sorry for your loss Brandon. TBDM is my favorite band and i absolutely loved Trevor. RIP
2:43 that palm muted string work has such an amazing energy to it, perfect example of how electric guitar evokes a certain emotion I can't describe.. only feel
Technique, left/right hand synchronization, timing, tone, tuning, intonation…all impeccable!
My condolences to you and the band.
I'm so devastated about what happened to Trevor. I'm so sorry.
I don't know if Black Dahlia will ever be able to move on from a loss like that.
Best of luck to the remaining members
And in any case, I hope you will still continue to be in projects because you're my favorite modern guitarist.
Best of luck to you, Bro.
I'm really sorry for your loss.
I love chugging to death, yet it is great to see modern metal being played in using higher octaves to make riffs. The reason why metal is so successful is that it constantly changes, always have to push the boundary, Brandon reaches back to the 80s to make these really cool modern riffs.
I'm so sorry for your, and our, loss Brandon. Into the Everblack he went.
I love how even though you're a shredmaster, it's clear your favorite part of the song is the thrashy part with the strange rhythm. We're all just chuggy bois at the end of the day.
1:58 That is the evilest guitar lick I have ever heard.
God I really like this one.
I just wanted to say thank you and we will always support you! I hope you, Brian, Alan, Max and the rest of the BDM family are ok.
My favorite song off the new album. Was hoping to see this live... R.I.P Trevor \m/,
You're a phenomenal player brandon, too underrated. My condolences on your friend also, I'm sorry dude. 🙏
One of the best metal guitar players I’ve ever heard. Awesome!!
Perfect mix of technique and song writing. You've obviously grown up on the classics.
YESSSSS. I have been waiting for this!!! Sunless empire next??
One of the best guitar players in guitar scene! beyond metal genre.
RIP Trevor... You were an absolute legend.
Thank you Brandon.
That Jackson is gorgeous. I’m very sorry to hear about Trevor. I met James Malone and you seeing Arsis in NYC. I never met Trevor but I saw him live several times and loved hearing him talk about retro games & albums on UA-cam. He was such a nice guy and metal legend. I know that you’ll carry the torch
So sorry to hear about Trevor man.
Dang, the speed of that diminished ascent at about 3:50.... Holy crap
So sorry to hear about the loss of Trevor, stay strong bro!!
God playing a Jackson guitar
mega ultra cool!!!!
It hurts my heart to look back when this vid dropped and felt pure joy. Brandon was as oblivious as I was, I was yet again fooled by the brightest smile, it hasn't even been two weeks and it feels like too much time has passed already. Trevor made a mark in the metal community, he'll be remembered forever
This is my favourite song off of Verminous. So catchy. And that snakeskin kelly is my favourite guitar of your collection. Awesome stuff mate
Man, all the condolences to you and the guys. He was one of the GOAT, and he gave us all so much enjoyment throughout the last two decades. RIP
What the fuck man what the fuck what the fuck I am in disbelief this cannot fucking be real! I don’t think I’ve ever been this devastated
It's awful man.
More playthrough bro!
This man is metal. Cheers brother. Sick playing my dude. Hails to the black dahlia murder. R.I.P. Lord strnad.
I dig how stoked you look when the poly rhythm section really kicks in. Such a cool part of the song. You're a huge inspiration for me to go back and learn my basic theory and scales/modes
You and Ryan Knight have been my biggest Inspirations on guitar. i really hope you keep posting content like this.

Super glad you’re doing these play throughs dude🤘🏽
Absolutely love it. This is the closest thing Ive heard to Rust in Peace since it dropped. Really is that level of epic.
so sorry about your bandmate dude!!!!
I really dig Trevs newer vocal in this song. That was one thing Trevor always did every album was fit in some new vocal patterns that were not his norm & I LOVED THAT. It was always a WELCOMING SUPRISE. WE WILL ALL MISS MY FRIEND!
GREAT JOB AS ALWAYS BANDON. YOU ALWAYS SHREDDING CHEESE 🧀!
RIP Trevor
RIP Trevor Strnad
😢 sorry for your loss
I play guitar too like most of you guys sometimes i will sit and watch him play this song three or four times in a row and almost everyday i listen to it.
Every note is so, buttery smooth and announced. So clean, Brandon. Keep it up!
This is my favorite song on the album.
The instrumental version of this really highlights how melodic this song is, I didn’t appreciate it fully with the vocals over it
Eres una máquina Brandon 👍
I love that guitar. The snakeskin finish is beautiful as well. Ellis rips.
Whenever I see you play the guitar Brandon I'm instantly inspired to pick up mine and keep shredding. Thank you!!
Amazing playing
Lovely! 🤘
holy crap, amazing!
Badass. Def my favourite song on the album. Is Brian playing the chorus riff an octave higher?

Awesome song! This solo in the beginning is so great! Very cool song!!!
Almost has a king diamond feel to it I love all the 80's influence in your playing

dude deserves way more subscribers. Well, just more everything in general haha
Dudeeee. Absolutely filthy 🤘
Fucking amazing Brandon. Just want to send all the love and support possible. We're all devastated. I hope you can find the strength and carry on Trevor's legacy. You are an absolute beast and a modern guitar legend.
