    As I am in my third trimester I wanted to share with you some of the prenatal yoga and pelvic floor exercises that I have been doing to strengthen my muscles while being pregnant.
    As mentioned, I am not a professional and these are exercises that were recommended to me. Make sure to always speak with your Midwife or OB if you're unsure about any of these exercises.

    Is it safe to lie on our backs when pregnant - I was told we shouldn’t

      I was told you could for short periods of time as long as you aren't uncomfortable. Maybe take breaks between each exercise so you aren't on your back continuously.

      Avoid long periods of back lying after 20-22 weeks. Put a pillow under your back if doing these exercises that put your back to the floor temporarily.

    Can these be done in replacement of kegels? I never know if I'm doing kegels right but want to make sure I work out my pelvic floor 😭

      I'd always recommend talking with your health care professional to see what's best for you.

      I've never been able to tell if I was doing pelvic floor exercises right, as far as kegels I just hold my pee for as long as I can when I actually have to go aha but not too long as it's not good for your bladder

    I'm 5 weeks pregnant and been advised by family to do this workout, is it safe at first trimester how many times a day do I need to do this please? 😊👍

      Same goes with me... worried if it can harm the baby because feels the pressure when doing it

      most likely but always check with your doctor first
