- Well, we screwed up... LOL. In CLASSIC Burly Fishing fashion, we forgot to order our Rods and Reels for the 2022 Fishing Season from Okuma Fishing. We finally reached out to Dave with Okuma and corrected this issue. And now, it's Christmas in October! In this video, we're unboxing and taking an up-close look at 7 rods and 4 reels. We have several models of the Psycho Stick series, the Tournament Concept Series, and the Guide Select Series rods. We also have some new Komodo SS reels, the Hakai Reel, AND the new ITX Spinning reel! Lot's to cover in one video, so let's get to it!

Have you tried any of these setups?
...no.
@@PunchFishing Hard to believe haha
@@paulglass7268 hey you asked!
I have the physco stick 7’2 ml spinning and I love it! Almost too much power sometimes!
Great stuff! Loved the new rods.
Hey!!! Yeah, I’m a right handed person but use left handed retrieve bait casters
Cast with the right, retrieve with the left… it just feels normal lol
That SBX big bait rod would be perfect for those softbaits I mentioned at well anything in that 7-11in range will work pretty good.
I’ve always wanted to try okuma, now I think I will because of you guys. He always seen their saltwater gear and almost got some rods when they had Scott Martin with them but after he left I never pulled the trigger. But you guys have seriously brought them back
They make some amazing stuff
Nice stuff yall!
Left is right..looks like some great setups
I love Okuma because of you! You guys turned me on to this company when you had them on the show. Their rod and reals are legit. Love all of their equipment, you can't go wrong. BTW Jeff, I can build you a rocket, but I will forget to fuel it up. Lol, sometimes we can plan things out so accordingly, but we forget the basics.🤣🤣 press Place Your Order button. Love you guys, great video
😂😂
Spending my paycheck before it even gets here. Lmao 😂😂🤣😋 I need some new gear. Thanks for sharing 👍👍
just got my first UL setup because of your first podcast. Slayed some bluegill this weekend on the new Zman micro stingerz
Awesome!!
Love my Hakai!
I'm a big fan of their spinning reels and the psycho sticks.
🙌
Just a quick comment on your komodo ss300 a 7 gear is more desirable once you get your different cadences down with different baits so you can work them more effectively. So I would recommend that 6gear for your soft swimbaits like your hudds, chubby ceekz, thumpertails, and nates baits. Hope I can help you a little!
Thanks man!
@@aaanglers if you ever need any info big bait wise shoot me a dm I am more than happy to help.
Thanks I’m right handed but fish left handed I’m unique like Yiu 😊
I'm right handed and have always retrieved left handed spinning or casting... I had a right hand retrieve lews xfinity combo for about a month before I ordered 2 piscifun spark reels... then a few months later upgraded to slx dcs again all left hand retrieve rells... its was better
I'm a righty as well I even play guitar rh, but I fish lefty... and actually when I was trying to figure out how to use a baitcaster first I had a righty and it just frustrated me but I kinda got it figured out, but then I saw the video where the serrano beat out the slx in a shootout, after finding it on Amazon for right around $50, I fish it almost more than my more expensive spinning set-up
@@kevinstoneburner8775 for me I can just feel the lure/bites better with my right as well as work the bait better
Have you tried the okuma halogen combo I was thinking about buying the casting combo but don’t know how it performs
I have not, but I messed with it at icast and it feels solid
What rod would you suggest for spinning for salmon? The salmon i fish for are no bigger than 12 lbs?
The Okuma SST series is good and affordable
@@aaanglers I’ve got the Okuma guide select pro bait rod but it’s just too much for the size of fish that i fish for
Hi brother how much price please tell me
100-225
Jealous!!!!!!!
Sissy sticks? That’s all I use. I see no point in using casting reels.
Hate those Plastik Bulky reel seat.. hurt on hand and slipery when Fight big fish
Too bad you only have a month or two to fish them.
I know right!
@@aaanglers take some of those heavier rods White fishing in November. They come threw the Lake Michigan channels n November. Great fish to fight.
Give one fishing rod free
Sorry, we don’t do that
Just stumbled across this while searching Okuma stuff.
Did you know the Serrano stated out years ago as a salt water reel. That bad boy was green just like the c3 rods.
I did not! That is pretty rad
