- After fishing with @OkumaFishingUSA products for the past 8 months, I decided to share my experience with y'all! This is a review of my Okuma Fishing Rod and Reel arsenal. You might be surprised by my opinion on some of these rod and reel combos I've put together! I have put these rods and reels to work, fishing all over Michigan, from creeks and rivers to ponds and lakes. They have helped me catch many fish this year. But, are they worth it?

So interesting that this is your topic Burly. I have only been fishing for 2yrs now and have accumulated about 6 Okuma rods, and just got a new Longitude Surf rod today. Great products!
I recently bought both models of the Okuma Psycho Stick spinning rods and love them. Great quality for the price. So light. The Canadian border has opened and next month they’re going to be tested by smallies on drop shots, neds, and tubes. Might add a bait caster.
I like Okuma and especially the Inspiration. Great reel. I have one bait caster and one rod. Maybe I’ll try others in the future. I like the look of them
I have 2 okuma Serrano rod’s with a diawa tatula ct on one and a kast king reel on the other. Use the tatula for spinning lures.
I LOVE Okuma saltwater reels/rods they are super durable! my next rod I will probably buy is a shimano Zodias! so exited!!!!!

I just ordered the 7' Zodias meduin heavy yesterday. Super pumped to get it and put my curado dc on it.

I had a okuma rod it was a cheap 1 and it broke after alil while
You can always throw an A-rig on that musky rod. Sill would like to see a review on that shimano sensilite rod for bfs if you don’t like it I’ll buy it from you

On my reels if they are not Shimano or Daiwa Abu Garcia it’s junk rods Dobyns st croix old 18 TFO temple fork outfitters are junk

I have the Okuma SCT 9’3” musky rod with a Komodo SS 463 it’s amazing.

I went from the critx to the abu garcia c3 6500 you can't get parts for the critx got tired for calling them the worst thing they took the money never sent the part Paid 165.00 for it never even had it for the whole summer
