- Today, I am sharing with you some of my MUST-HAVE sauces or salad dressings for health PLUS they are great for weight loss. These sauces are vegan, whole food plant-based, oil and gluten-free, and they are delicious. I put these on anything and everything and yes, I used them during my 50 lBS weight loss. Remember, though, that when trying to lose weight, use the sauces sparingly...so don't use half the jar LOL. Each recipe makes about 3-4 servings. I hope you enjoy!

1 TBSP Tahini
2/3 White Beans
1 TBSP Maple Syrup
2 TBSP White Miso Paste
1 TBSP Low Sodium Soy Sauce/ Tamari
1 TBSP Sesame Seeds
1/3 C Rice Vinegar
Green Goddess:
1 Garlic Clove
1 C avocado
5 TBSP ACV
3 TBSP Lemon Juice
1/2 C Basil
1/2 C Parsley
1/2 C Green Onion
1 tsp salt
Southwest Dressing:
1/2 C Cashews
1 TBSP Tahini
1/2 TSP Garlic Powder
1/2 TSP Onion Powder
2 TSP ACV
1/2 TSP Maple Syrup
1 TSP Smoked Paprika
1 TSP Salt
3/4 C Water

I've been using non-dairy plain yogurt (Harmless Harvest unsweetened plain coconut yogurt. I get it at Sprouts) lately as a base. This particular yogurt is low in calories and fat. I made a curried mango chutney sauce to go with a sheet pan shawarma recipe and a maple Dijon one. So yummy! I want to try your recipes, too, because they look so good.

Awesome and yes, more sauce recipes but also which veggies you use them with. Like you I'm trying to get more veggies but honestly I don't like most veggies. Salads I make a silken tofu ranch that works, but I'd like to eat more other veggies! Thanks

I love sauces but have hard time finding any I like. So many call for tahini or miso which I don't like (unlesss I havent found right brand, lol)

question: could i substitued the AVC for avocado oil?
Sure whatever you prefer. Just know that you will be adding a lot of calories and fat, but if you aren't concerned about that, go for it. I'm not sure how that will change the flavor. Enjoy
