Everything looks good except for the custom Qunari design. Previous titles handled the designs perfectly so there is no excuse to why they couldn’t pull it off. Someone who actually knows how to play with a mage would be nice as well.
So I assume it's like past games still where you can just hack and slash and let the computer do it's thing for the companions. Set them up with specific roles and health gates for healing or you can do the whole pause combat, command them yourself and be very efficient with them. All aboard the hype train, let's go!
Their artists & designers are ex-Riot Games employees? Some of the characters and companions really look cartoonish reminiscent of League of Legends.
Haha, exactly my thoughts.
wondering if as a warrior you can dual wield also?
Everything looks good except for the custom Qunari design. Previous titles handled the designs perfectly so there is no excuse to why they couldn’t pull it off. Someone who actually knows how to play with a mage would be nice as well.
i really hope i don't have to pause everytime i want to use or have a companion use an ability. kinda ruins the flow.
I do explain later in the vid how you dont need to pause to use their actions :)
@@Dantics oh, i must have missed that. was reading as i was listening.
i'm glad i won't have to pause.
So I assume it's like past games still where you can just hack and slash and let the computer do it's thing for the companions. Set them up with specific roles and health gates for healing or you can do the whole pause combat, command them yourself and be very efficient with them. Also it was quickly shown in the video that you can shortcut command them using specific button presses to quick use an ability of theirs for a mix of the two methods.
Seems really good so far for giving people something that will suit them.
Taash does things...
Currently doing a DAI playthrough so i can do fresh choices lol.
Currently stuck at an impass.
Im playing a female elf, so cullen or sera?
Cant decide who i want. Both are ready to romance almost. So gotta pick soon 😂
I'm not a massive Sera fan so you'd guess my answer here
Am so happy i don't have to stop the action to get my team to combo moves ill master it 💪😊
I LOVE THOSE DEYM HOTKEYS❤
None of the romance options come close? Are you kidding? Davrin is going to be giving my Rook that BBEC asap 😂
If only they spent asleep much time on the hair as they did making the game actually look appealing visually
I'm in the fence about the fight mechanics
It does look a lot better than what we seen before, Ok I buy.
Are there no helmets in the game? I love heavy armor and always wear plate armor and helmets, but in all the gameplay i did see so far, i didn't see any headwear at all
My only gripe regarding companion faces is Taash.... she looks like a dude from some angles (an ugly dude).... but then in some cutscenes she seems prettier. The rest of her is eeeeeexcellent tho. Aaaah, they can't all be Karlach I suppose.
Qunari can look manly
Honestly, her face kinda looks like Hot Squidward to me
@@supergirlvideoclips894 Yeah, but does she have to look ugly? That's a very homely face from some angles.
@@SilentSooYun LOL!! That made me laugh out loud in real life!!
She is buffer than the 3 men. Taash is the only romance option who looks like she could break some furniture with your Rook.😮😅
I’m planning on playing an elf mage based on myself for my first playthrough, human rogue and then Qunari warrior.
man that elf looks like she had serious plastic surgery
None of the romance options come close? My brother in Andraste, have you never seen Neve? Or Bellara? 😂😂
Shit I was gonna romance Neve first, but then they actually showed Taash in game and then I pretty much had to switch up my romance plan lmaoo
@@Stardust_Radi0 I'm torn between all 3 of the Veilguard ladies lol
Neve without her stupid hat, is gorgeous ✨️
Bellara, she is cute, I'd be besties with her geeking out over dalish ancient artifacts and lore.
I plan on romancing Emmerich, Lucanis, Harding, and Neve.
@@sonnenblumefrau2048 Speaking of Lucanis, I can't wait to find out more about those wings he's got.
what did i think where are the custom dwarf rooks :( but yes love the new video some great shots and love how detailed the rooks can be
the qunari still look terrible though.
Those gigantic foreheads need to go, makes them look cartoonish with those hugeass heads
For me its a pretty cool games, its not that the character design is off its just that it want to create its own type of fantasy creature...So making it realistic is not that I would like to see...
female elf in thumbnail is same Rook design from high level Warrior gameplay, you finally notice shes is stunning Haha. My fav female Rook shown is punk rocker dalish elf at 0:07 & 0:12 such a beautiful badass design.
4:39 that location is antiva omg yay finally 🙌
Is all this footage from the last IGN video? Some of it seem different...
The face animation and eyes still look as dead as Andromeda. That is unacceptable in 2024.
Name a RPG as doesn't?
Already know that as much as it is hoped this game is good, it is full of woke trash made by woke cultists. It looks like Fortnite Age, which doesn't fit the dark fantasy setting. Hard pass. Dragon Age is lost along with Ubisoft's 3rd person offerings (Outlaws, AC). RIP
That hair physics
Man, I really do not like the look of the Qunari in this game. Definitely not going to play Qunari in this game.
0:06 Hey that was me I want that :)
why go to IGN when i can come to Danitcs
This man knows🫡
Can’t believe there’s an RPG game with romance options and they’re all extremely ugly.
skill issue on your part bruv
Looks pretty good so far
They completely screwed the qunari. Hair looks nice though
