Pls do a video about these two cars in detail and talk about the mods you made
A good idea Joey, thanks for sharing.
Easy enough, stiff sway bar at the rear, manual brake bias valve .
Sorry to be off topic but does someone know a way to get back into an Instagram account..?
I stupidly lost the account password. I would love any assistance you can offer me.
@Casen Franco Instablaster =)
@Jeremy Jaziel thanks for your reply. I found the site on google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff atm.
Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Excellent! And then there are people saying that fwd can't be fun..
They obviously haven't experienced the loose rear-end wizardry of a French hatch!
@@CamberandCombustion A few years ago I bought my first car - saxo vts. After a year or so of driving it i've experienced lift off oversteer for the first time, not knowing what it was. Managed to instinctively pull it out of the slide and shit myself at the same time. Had no idea such thing existed. Went home to google what could be causing a FWD car to slide like that. Wasn't it supposed to be understeerish all the time? Since then I've had alot of fun with it.
@@Matzgier the beauty of FWD is you can purposely force it into overseer, and you can steer with the throttle wich is so much fun.
@@CamberandCombustion Just got myself an RS 197 and it is just smiles for miles honestly
2:28 LOL The shift knob broked!! 😂
Cristopher Delgado when VTEC kicks in too hard
Brilliant, your videos show what trackdays are all about. Getting out there having fun and learning to controll the cars. Too many other videos of people showing how their car is faster than XYZ 'quicker' cars around certain circuits, a refreshing watch as always keep them coming.
Thanks Ben. Our aim for 2019 is to get out as much as possible, watch this space!
Yeah!! This a huge proof to everyone says that FWD cars don't oversteer!
Brilliant, great work guys love watching you guys hooning these cars around the various tracks!!
Just came across your channel guys, your videos are a blast to watch.
You're great drivers and we can tell you're having a shitload of fun, keep it up :)
Hahaha, absolutely hilarious and epic to watch! Must have been so much fun! Keep up this good content! 10 times better to watch than a hot lap with a Lambo :D
Thank you guys. You are strong and fun
always a fun to watch you driving, like you guys .
When only have enough for 2 Toyo Proxes so you're forced to put "budget midrange" tyres on the back
well, tonight I had a 180 spin in a corner because of that (rain)
@Tim P you can just cut the other two out and label the T1R as 'crap' for a track tire. They have no business being on the front of a mr-s from my experience.
Amazing tires for the street though.
That's some great track. Very interesting layout, plenty of different challenges and safe- just a lot grass going slightly uphill.
It was pleasure for eyes! GJ pugy and others! Like for foot cam.
Too much fun, well done
Thanks Rasherjo!
This is exactly how i was drive my Renault Megane 2.0 IDE Coach Coupe. And after a couple of cars - it was the car that brought most fun
I love the laughing at each other’s driving 😂😂
The most amusing driving content i ve seen lately.gj guys
Thanks man!
Always love seeing new videos lads, you never disappoint! However my rectum on the other hand has a hard time when you approach those corners at those crazy speeds! Anyway, my arse aside I would love to see some timed laps Clio Vs Pug from the tracks you attend if possible! Commentary from both drivers pre and post track day would be a bonus too xD
Appreciate the kind and graphic words there Arda! And thanks for the great suggestions for future content.
Good work as always lads! Two favourite French hatches
Wish I never sold my gti 6 but it was rotten haha, still own a 197 now and a ep3 so enjoy all the lift off still
Thanks Adam! Yeah, a lot of them are heading that way now aren’t they.
We’ve driven a couple of Ep3s and they’re definitely partial to some lift off too! What do you prefer, Ep3 or 197?
Man, what a beautiful track
Impressive drive , good job!
Nice seeing you proper racing a manual the old-fashioned way!
I hope ur subs go up.....
This is wicked content
U are on an article on piston heads 😎
Fuck me is good to see cars driven like they should 💪🏻💪🏻 love the videos guys! Keep up the insanity!
absolutely brilliant! my local circuit too!
Always a joy to watch you two 😁 makes me want to go thrash the rallye
marc callender thank you sir! Would have taken the six out Christmas morning if it weren’t for it’s draft shaft boot playing up.
Great footwork cam! Was on the same day in the little black turbo mx5 with the bronze wheels. Had a chat with one of your mates and meant to come over to say hello but then the day suddenly ended after that horrid mini crash. Hope to catch you at another day soon. Keep up the great vids guys.
Thanks! The MX5 looked really nicely prepped, bet it’s a right hoot. Yeah it was a shame how the day ended, although it has motivated us to book the next day at Oulton in Jan!
@@CamberandCombustion Cheers, yeah mega fun for the money it's cost to build and cheap enough to fix things when they go wrong haha. Brill, I just booked Oulton for Feb 2nd too then over to Anglesey in March. A few upgrades to get sorted on the mx5 over the next few weeks! Look forward to seeing some sideways Clio/Pug footage through druids :).
@@CIRCUITDRIVERCARS likewise, looking forward to seeing some action in the MX5!
Savage stuff !!! I want the gti6!
Even with it's knob ripped off?!
Thank you
Pedal to the metal 😯 nice driving!
Thanks, we try!
What a moment 2:32 😃😃😃
Not something that happens every day! 😂
lots of fun. Wicked.
Hats of to you sir, that is absolutely beatufil driving.
Just bought myself another 197 after a year away, you lot are getting me excited to give it a proper hoon! Would love to see how you guys drive on real roads, although I don’t imagine the police would agree 🤣
sam seville awesome 👍🏻 They’re such capable little cars out of the box! And no comment... 😁
Love the cockpit in the 306, I had a 306 cabriolet 2.0 wish I kept it was very clean at the time
Divertente...e soprattutto bravi piloti!!😎😎
I love how you guys drive like complete maniacs also miss the 306 ;(
Peugeot's last good hothatch... Good skill..
wow this guy in the Peugeot can really drive. I'm jealous
Its funny to say i drive like u guys everyday lol😂😂😂life to sewwt
One of my favourite sim race tracks, it's bloody miles away from me, so I stick closer to home. Perhaps I'll treat myself to a weekend away, book a hotel and then send it :)
Ian Bradley you won’t regret it 🙌🏻🔥
Hahahaha when the shift knob fell off
good fun
Hahaha good fun!
Awesome gti6 , you could make a video showing the car !!
Thanks Nicholas! And cool idea about making a video showing the car.
@@CamberandCombustion please do this!
Супер. Весело и легко
aaaah Peugeot is not what it used to be ! :D
such a good looking and fun car to drive the 306
Agreed! They've aged very well and still look good to this day.
Vaya calientes!!
You guy are just amazing i love to see not im the only crazy driver on this planet ✌✌✌😁😍👍😂
🤙🔥
Awesome video guys. When will the footage of Oulton Park be released? exciting times.
Appreciate the love. Oulton Park footage is going live imminently!
Finally a proper manly man gearknob ^^
Thinking to leave it like this now, just pure shaft...
2:32 great piece of french engineering 👌
Unfortunately this incident can't be blamed on French engineering as it's an aftermarket knob fitted by ourselves 😂
great driving really flashy
The 306 actually has passive rear wheel steering which makes it behave way more fun than most hatches :)
This 306 has had it's passive rear steering disabled in this vid due to the very expensive price of fitting the standard axle mounts which enable this passive rear steering. It's running solid mounts instead.
Best track in the uk, aint it!
2:24 yo he's making the M3 yield him!
Nice video's !! been checking them alot, soon will be entering my first every trackday with my Saxo with 125hp (original 89hp) Which position can u recommand for mounting a Gopro? I do not have a sunroof and i have the passanger seat inplace.
If you have a standard passenger seat with headrest, search for a 'Hague headrest camera mount' - they work great. Good luck in your racing!
Put the car on gravel guys 🤓 Nevertheless fun to watch 👍
Mate av it hand break and toes all the way sik lads it looks so much fun ?😁😎
Brilliant drive ! especially 306 :) any more detailed specs about of the car? what tire size? brakes stock? :) shorter final drive?
Thank you 🤙🏻
This is the spec of the 306 at the time of the vid:
Engine - engine, catback exhaust, K&N replacement panel filter
Gearbox - standard
Suspension - KW coilovers up front & Bilstein 205 Group A dampers paired with 21mm torsion bars at the rear
Brakes - standard with EBC Bluestuff pads
Tyres - Michelin PS3s & Nankang AR1s (depending on clip)
This is my local track
So grazyyyyy !
I Love You Boys for this!!!! 😂😂😂
I have so much fun with our Videos!! 👍
.....Big Smile on my Facebook 😀
Thank you, we're glad you enjoyed the video and we love you too!
Camber and Combustion ......... Smile on my Face ....
Mooooore videooooos pleaasee!
So for an fwd its counter steer and step on gas
In that gti6 you should put a fully reprogrammable ecu, with stock internals a friend of mine got 202hp at the flywheel
Good numbers! Was that on throttle bodies?
Lovely stuff! Does either car have LSD? How do the weight and power compare between the two?
Thanks Bryan. Neither car has an LSD. The power to weights are estimated to be similar but we need to get both cars on a dyno and weigh bridge to confirm!
What pads and tyres are you *absolute heroic nutters* using on the Six please? Cheers!
'Absolute heroic nutters' - a compliment of the highest regards, thank you sir.
The 306 is running EBC Bluestuff pads up front, standard Brembo discs and standard motor factor Dot 5.1 fluid. Tyres for wet driving are Michelin Pilot Sport 3s (195 50 15) and for the dry Nankang AR1s (205 50 15).
@@CamberandCombustion Ta chaps. If all goes to plan with my 2019 I hope to see you on track with mine.
whys the chicane closed?
u can fucking drive dude ♥️
Appreciate the love Dom 🙌🏻❤️
I didn't know that brake can be operated with the left foot. :)
Happens a lot in racing
@@asianR53 thanks good to know
it prevents the rear end to slide to much in the corner. Especially for FWD
Don't worry about the engine or suspension, you'll wear the steering rack out first!!😁
Funny you should say that Ross, the steering rack on the 306 is due for imminent replacement, haha!
@@CamberandCombustion mine used to eat power steering rams... but what a car, huge fun to drive. Wish I'd still got it to try it on track.
Are you running those on track spec tyres?
Yes, in some of the clips road tyres, in others semi slicks.
As the guy definetly knows how to drive, I must say I never realized how much slower clio rs is compared to megane rs 250+.
You guys should come to circuitpark zandvoort sometime
DVDW we have thought about doing Zandvoort! Which track day companies would you recommend?
@@CamberandCombustion I would recommend DF trackdays and I would avoid the vrij rijden trackdays. Anyway if you're planning on going feel free to contact me. (Insta: danielvandeweijer) and maybe i can bring my 306 maxi then :)
@@MrBodo1999 because vrij rijden is 80% idiots with no clue how to drive on track with a general lack of car control. Unless you are in that category then please go to vrij rijden :) . But I hope not
Good to know, thank you! We’ll give you a shout if we choose to do it.
@@CamberandCombustion sure if you message me a week or 2 in front then I can help you make reservations.
What pressure in the rear tyres?
35psi hot pressure
2.29 minutes in 🤣😭🤣😭🤣
Why??
Are your diffs welded or something?
No, they're standard open fwd diffs
hahaah its so delicious , French hothatch for a only fun
Minuto 2:35 se carga el pomo jajajaj
like and coment
I wanna see some of those crazy Arabs we see throwing FWD cars around all sideways down expressways. They'll show you how it's done haha!
Joking, nice driving!
sucks they have the chicane closed
Des barges 😅 mais des pilote😉
Pire que des gosses lol !
All over the m3 @ 2.25
Looks at gear knob.... Dont need that xD
Why is that track so slippery XD
CMDR Bio the cold + rain + semi slicks = fun 🤙🏻🔥
@@CamberandCombustion maybe i should come in my little 1.2 clio one day XD
Hahahahahahaha.....
hahaha, 2.35min Gear KNOB haha, They always say if you play with it too hard, you're brake it.
sparkplug964 it was inevitable 😂
Gear knob comes off...........fuck it, crack on anyway, it’s only for decoration.
