My husband caught a little bit of this and said “Wait… you mean there’s other people like you that gathers up junk and then says… I don’t know what I’ll do with this but I love it!”
Love vintage tins! I’ve been able to find so many nice ones at charity shops-probably people cleaning out their old granny’s stuff-and they are great for ephemera storage. ❤
I have a make up trolly like that as well. It is so use full. I use mine when I go to workshops and craft retreats. But I also use it when I'm working on a themed project. I load all my themed items into it so that they are close on hand.
Margaret, you cannot make a video too long for me. I'll watch you too much maybe 😂. Love your Halls. Glad to hear your voice. See your hands. Love that you're back and love that you're taking care of yourself. 💐💕🍄😘
In two weeks we also have a stay at home holiday so: Naarden here we come! And Spijkenisse of course. Sooooo looking forward to it 😂 I love to watch your hauls. Can do that for hours on a row 😊
My goodness what a fantastic haul. Enjoyed video and it’s cool to see what products our ancestors used and we had and used many many years ago. So very interesting and educational. I love it. I love everything from the past. Thank you for sharing and explain the history of each item. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Some really beautiful things - well done! Love the hand painted pack for 4 euros amazing find. Also love the wooden box’s and the 3 tiny metal ornaments. Xx
Thank you so much for sharing your treasures! It is so interesting to see treasures from other countries! I used to treasure hunt here in Ohio! It is so much fun and I could spend so much time in certain stores! I used those in my paintings sometimes to build up layers! Thank you Dawn
We had a whole set of those metal coasters ‘Leicester Square as’ a child. They were all different London streets etc. I love vintage stuff, it so often reminds me of my childhood. ❤❤❤❤❤
You are right, I don't have 2 hours a day to watch your videos, but I love watching a few minutes at a time when I get the chance. Thank you for your lovely videos. :)
I love it when you show us what you have purchased, you must of had a lot of fun. So many things. First time I have seen Daisy, so cute too. Thank you for sharing, big hugs and kisses to Daisy and Jackson 🤗😘🤗😘
Hi Margreth, you found a lot of nice stuff on vacation! And I don't think any of us mind how long the video is when watching you! You are fun and entertaining and I'll watch till the end every time. You have a great, supportive husband in Tim and I love that you both enjoy the thrill of the hunt. TFS 😊
Wow what a fantastic thrifting haul! You and I have the same problem with books. I also love vintage books, especially ones with children's stories, textbooks, spellers, math...ugh, love them all. And also anything nature or gardening related too! It's addicting to see what treasures you can find each time you enter a store. I also am running out of room to house my collections, and have so many ideas in my head for future journals or books. Love watching your videos so much!
Watching you makes me so happy. I pick up “weird” things too😂, and just know I can do something with the items. Loved so many things, but the hand painted pieces on vellum, and laminated are fantastic. Wonderful haul!
I actually stayed focused for an hour and a half watching all of these amazing finds. I love watching your hauls. Not just because of all the great stuff, but also that you tell a little bit about what you found and what it means. That helps me when I go out looking. Though there are no really good thrift stores around me. But I’m hoping to take a little trip into a different state and hopefully find some good thrifts there. Anyway, thank you for sharing all these goodies! Hugs 🤗❤️
I love your opshop hauls, and I don’t care how long they are. Your Sunday is my Monday, so I save them for Monday evening, and watch them with tea, and ginger nut biscuits. You often find things I remember from my Dutch childhood, and these make me smile. You often call file folders or folders : maps. But that means “landkaart”😊. Jaa…Thanks for sharing Margreth. 😘
Your “Thrift Hauls”, are some of the most exciting videos❣️ What’s not to love?‼️since I was born in 1960, it’s even more fun. You brought out all the Stamp Collecting Books, and I instantly thought about the book my Dad bought me from the Post Office. It had pages similar to the one in the last book but you could not remove them. It was divided into Countries and came with a Starter package of Stamps that you would be able to match up with the designated Spot they belonged in! I had so much fun doing that! No doubt, my mom tossed it long ago, and just makes me want to cry! I also collected postcards. My Dad had a friend who traveled throughout the World on business and he was my Godfather. He sent me Postcards from all over with wonderful Stamps on these Amazing Cards. I kept them all in a Box. I found the box when Mom passed, but it appears she threw all the cards out and kept the silly box! Advice to all you younger gals just starting, save things like this‼️ You will want them at a time in the future when kids are grown or you finally have time to explore crafts. Get those now from your folks and stash them❣️You will be happy you did❣️ Another great place to find wonderful Books, (clearly Margareth, you have a “Thrifting Angel” on your shoulder), is Libraries! Ask the Ladies at the local Library if they would call you when they thin their stacks! This usually happens every month or two depending on how big the Library is. Many times Libraries will stack books on a special table along with magazines that are out of date, for you to just take if you see something you like! A great place to find books that will be trashed otherwise❣️Don’t know if they do the same in the Netherlands. All in all Margareth, another fantastic Thrifting Expedition🖇🗞📚📜🏷🗂🧾❣️ You found out, just like Dorothy in “The Wizard of Oz”, that there’s “ no place like Home” stomping grounds for the best Thrifting in the Netherlands❣️🌻 Well, tomorrow is a big day… Back to your normal Creative Adventures, ahhhhhhh, the beloved “long form” tutorials❣️More time with Margaret, life doesn’t get much better than that🌻❣️ Thank you Margareth, for sharing your time and talents with us Junk Journaling/Paper Crazy Fans😁❣️ TOMORROW IS GOING TO BE A GOOD DAY @SEVENPLAZA❣️
What a wonderful haul ... I love the fall here in Canada. Today is my 51st wedding anniversary.... time does fly. I'd love to visit your country. We have been looking into the Viking cruise ship adventure. Lovie would those sticks in the printing set of letters fit in the holes on top of each letter ( or where you would hold onto it ). Make your word and hold at each end so the letters stay straight and easy to keep aligned while stamping. Our daughter was born in 1983. You found so many awesome things. Tyfs
I do love those square windows with the butterflies n flowers their unusual and i also love the big make up trolley they are expensive but perfect for puttin all yer goodies in ide love to see what you put in thekre 🖐️👅😜🙏💜💜🌹🌹🌹🌹🏴
Okay, I can take it back, I'm officially jealous. what a fantastic find, and you, the cigar box with marker, use top's "cutips" and alcohol it can dampen the text properly without damaging the substrate. Thanks fore sharing
love your thrifting videos, always makes my Sunday’s when i haven’t had a chance to go out myself. I also really like seeing the treasures from your country . i get so excited when i have found something from the Netherlands, usually its postage stamps, but it makes me fell like i’ve been there thrifting with ya, lol have a great week
Oh my gosh what a haul!! I swear you have the best thrift shops in the Netherlands, I couldn't find anything like what you found where I live. Anything vintage is WAY over priced like £20 for an encyclopedia volume! I live in the south of England and I've seen thrift shops charge more for t-shirts than the original price new! I love everything you found, especially the last diagrams, we had a phone like the one you mentioned that was two tone blue in the early 70s. Looking forward to tomorrow's video ❤ xxx
OMG I think I had one of those plakboeken when I was little, maybe one of my aunts gave it to me, old but unused. And then I filled it with stickers. Don't know where it went, probably my mum threw it away when I got older. And those patria and chocolate cans (I had one with the Rijksmuseum also, and a windmolen). But the only one I still have is a Rosenberg chocolate can with Amsterdam painting on it. Every time I watch your thrifting videos is like walking down a memory lane. Since we share history and culture, a lot of your finds remind me of something I owned years ago. I think almost every bits and bobs I had when I was little are Dutch-made. Even those kwartet cards. ✨🌟🌼❣️❣️❣️🌼🌟✨ My gosh Margreth., cant say youre so lucky bc its also a hard work., love watching you're haul ❣️❣️❣️ Like the storeting on wheels Timmy found very usefull when you on vacation or a weekendtrip ....and now he can say we need a new car 🥳 ❣️❣️❣️ Thank you so much for shareing -love it all ❣️❣️❣️
A 6 hour shift at work today followed by 1½hrs with your excitement. "Do you need a potty break?"😂 I thought you were talking to Daisy! 😊 Some wonderful stuff. I have an Emporium near me...the closest thing to a thrift shop I think. The smell of mold and old hits you hard and a lot of the paper stuff smells really bad. I don't think you have that problem at all. I Googled the Champ Clark tin. It was for cigars, and there is one on Etsy listed as a RARE find going for £18! TFS ❤ I love TBBT. Bazinga x
Well hello Margreth👋🏻👋🏻👋🏻 what awesome things you found. Yes! Wish we had cheap stuff like that. Watched the full video, like going to the movie. 😂 hugs
Ohhhh I'm obsessed w miniatures.....i started freaking out when u showed them lol!!! Tfs ✌🏼❤️ **For the stamps... maybe you put the stick thru the letters to form a word to stamp all together... 🤷🏼♀️
The tin with the name Champ Clark. He was an American speaker of the House of Representatives born 1850-1921 a cigarette tin. I so love these videos I never seem to find anything like that in England. Although I still look wherever I am Thank you.
My husband caught a little bit of this and said “Wait… you mean there’s other people like you that gathers up junk and then says… I don’t know what I’ll do with this but I love it!”
My husband was napping, but he definitely would say that also. I’ve run out of hiding spots and just own up to my addiction now.
God love our husbands! 😅
My husband thinks I’m nuts. When I get back from thrifting He will say, let me guess you bought junk lol
When I get all excited about the things I have made I say "come look at what I made" my husband reply is always "that's nice, love" 🙄
@@nixgallagher49sounds like the enthusiasm level of my husband 😂
The railsetter stamps....I believe the wood rail goes in the stamp loops to line the letters up...
👍🏻😁
I just love your thrift videos! They are so interesting and so fun. I never think they are too long. The longer, the better!!! Thank you so much!
😁👍🏻😘
It's not a "problem" . . . it's a "library"! I may have to use that. You are not alone!
😂👍🏻😁
Oh what fun you had !!I love it when you share your thrift hauls !
😘👍🏻
Love vintage tins! I’ve been able to find so many nice ones at charity shops-probably people cleaning out their old granny’s stuff-and they are great for ephemera storage. ❤

Wow! What a great haul! It's fun to thrift along with you. Almost as good as being there. Thanks for taking us along.
I love the bee medallion and you could use the Easter plaque for a fairy journal! I believe the hand painted pieces are painted on silk!
Thrifting is the best way to spend a holiday. Blessings from Canada 🇨🇦
😘👍🏻😁
In two weeks we also have a stay at home holiday so: Naarden here we come! And Spijkenisse of course. Sooooo looking forward to it 😂

Enjoy you so much.

The laminated vellum pieces are an incredible find!
😁👍🏻
The green and blue matching fabrics look like they would be great Easter dresses for sisters
Watching you makes me so happy. I pick up “weird” things too😂, and just know I can do something with the items. Loved so many things, but the hand painted pieces on vellum, and laminated are fantastic. Wonderful haul!

Bazinga x

Thank you for the video and I look forward to see some of those non copy righted images incorporated into your digitals

Love all of these!
I just speed up the viewing speed.
Very nice haul❤
My husband and I went on a two day thrifting/antiquing trip for my birthday a few weeks ago. :)😊
