Great haul, Margreth! Please show us how you store or display your vintage finds! I would love a tour of your craft room. Pretty please with a cherry on top! 🥰🤗
That orange fabric! "So ugly that you must have!" I totally agree 😂🤣. I also love finding those 'souvenir' bits with the handmade paper in them. Never heard of the Lady in Waiting book; nice shout out for that. Speaking of books, I've found a smaller version of those 'Victorian Photo album' books on a recent haul. Going to cut this one up and have a go. Have you tried cutting into yours yet? Really jealous of that Linguaphone briefcase 😍 Wow! That should become Gunther and Gretchen 2.0 -- like their adult child's case of life experiences. Gunther & Gretchen's child becomes a world traveller working in multiple languages.... collecting specimens or folklore from around the world. Ideas abound! 🤓Lush find with that pigeon hole shelf too. Thank you so much for taking the time to share your treasure hunting hauls - Inspiring 🥰
I love the Napolion letters, the tins, cheese boxes, post office green cabinet the top ones for me. In my world everything you purchased was a steal luvvie😊😊😊
Again, another fabulous treasure hunting video. I can't wait to be able to afford to head to Europe via the UK from home here in Australia and just spend my days going to antique shops and thrift shops. And none of what you bought home Margareth is hoardering. You're collecting memorabilia. You have to think of it like that. That's what I say anyway. Especially when I moved back to my mums and my sister saw the size of my book collection. She didnt see the 1000s of books I took to the charity shop before moving in though. 😂 Nor does she realise the number of old books I have that are 1st editions and are worth money. 😂xx
Wow Margreth, you had an amazing day hauling all these treasures! Love all the vintage finds, you always find such great stuff. I LOVE YOUR GREEN POSTAL CABINET, IM SO JEALOUS! You do deserve it, it’s lovely. Thanks for sharing. 🌻
I would have totally bought the bells, cool! The pins are really neat too! I.c.e. pin is immigration enforcement and yes american. Tiny store front is adorable, so fun. Your voice sounds so excited as you share your treasures. Postal storage unit is awesome!!! Glad you had so much fun junking, one of my favorite past times also.
In the US the Lady in waiting book is more than $70.00 on Amazon if it’s a new book and $30.00 plus shipping if it’s used. I love so many of the treasures you found. You are really good at hunting. I especially love your shelf unit that you got. I think it’s good to treat yourself once in a while. 💜
Hello Margreth, I am happy because Lynnsinclair in her comment explain to you who was the "pétomane", not easy to me to explain this in english. The old paper "Napoléon" is an "adjudication", a public sale (auction). In this case the goods sold was grounds and fields for payment of debt. This sale is order by court. The bidder who offer the higher price win the sale. In 1850 Napoléon III, nephew of Napoléon 1er, was the emperor of France. You found lots of interesting things. In France this sort of items are more expensive. Thank you for this pleasant moment.
Omg….Fantastic haul. Love everythingthing.they are all treasures of the past. My favorite would be the last treasure you showed. The green cabinet. Wow, so unique to have in your craft room. A conversation piece. Love the button sample book. Heck love it all. You got a good eye for antiques and unusual items for conversation pieces Well done. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Fantastic haul, I also bought the ladies in waiting book at my local antique store and paid just £2 GBP it’s a stunning book that I don’t think I have the heart to cut into so I’ll be looking out for a second copy. 🥰😘
The newspapers would have been the perfect find for me: I am born in 1967 and my hubby is from 1959. Unfo I don´t live nearby, I adore your drift-, antique- and artsupply-shops over there. Thanks for sharing your treasures with us!
What a fantastic haul lovey! Such gorgeous things but think the green cabinet at the end is my favourite. My husband’s excuse is always “you don’t have room!” too. Needless to say I always MAKE room LOL Thanks for sharing with us darlin! 😊💚🇦🇺xxx
The pin you were wondering about (ICE) that is Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Border Patrol. That is a cuff link that they give the Agents. So many fantastic items, I am always so impressed with all the treasures you come up with and so very unique and interesting. You're going to have to get another room to put all your finds, or a storage shed :) It is impressive though for sure. My favorite? The old Napoleon Papers are the best. And good you were able to get that shelf, that is perfect for your needs.
OMGosh, my favourite piece? Ladies in waiting book. I absolutely love it.. lucky you. Joint favourite was the green unit... you sound exactly like me. I would do the same, go home and regret not taking it. It would keep me up all night!!!! Hubby would also say the same thing 'you have no room for it'. Ha ha. Your as excitable as I am and I love it. Makes me feel better to know someone out there is like me. I even quite like the green. Such great finds, Margreth. Happy that your happy x
Oh my goodness! This was a fantastic haul. I loved everything but you definitely saved the best for last. That mail cabinet/shelf is gorgeous. I’m so glad you got it! The things you find at the charity shops are amazing. You just can’t find things like that in Oklahoma where I live. I’m so jealous! I’ve told you before but I’ll say it again. I LOVE these Sunday videos. It’s so fun to see what goodies you bring home! By the way, your nails look great! 👍
Super wonderful haul!!! If we ever lose you at a thrift store we will most likely find you in the office supply section!!🤣❤ Love your show and tell videos!
How I miss your flea market finds, and here I find a video I missed, lucky me :) Hope things are progressing with your back problems and that you are on the road to recovery Lots of hugs
I saw the hardback book, “Victorian Flower Garden” on Amazon US for over $600. I want to go shopping with you. I had some extra time this afternoon and totally enjoyed watching your haul. Looking at the items and hearing you speak about them was so fun. The fabrics were wonderful and so varied. I would have chosen them all except the furry orange one. Can't wait to see what you make with them.
My goodness you really lucked out with some awesome treasures. I can see why you had to have everything you showed. I loved the shelving unit for your craft room. Beautiful and useful.
The Louisa book is AMAZING! The US Amazon had it for $80!😌…. I found it at an online used bookstore for $20 free shipping. Not too bad for something like this. As Margreth says…” I paid up”🥰
Holy Hannah, you got some Wonderful stuff! Isn’t it funny the things we bring home? ( the children’s stuff for example, ). It’s a mood thing for sure. I would love to see a tour of your collections, you must have hundreds of books! That postal desk hutch is a gem for sure. And omg the prices you paid, !!!!! I would have had to rent a truck if I went shopping with you, lol. And I ordered the Lady In Waiting book from Amazon. It was $13.00 plus $4.00 shipping, I can’t wait. But I bet I’ll have to get another one as well because I’ll want to keep one intact. Sound familiar???? I love all your videos, but especially your Sunday shares. I think we all live vicariously through you. Have a great day
What an incredible haul Margreth!!! That suitcase with the records is out of this world! You find the coolest things my friend, and can tell you’re so happy by your voice. That makes me happy!❤
Oh my goodness Margreth. Such a wonderful haul. So many great items. Loved watching you in this video. You are hilarious. Have a great day. Holly Hobbie was released in 1975.
Button sample book..take pic or scan them to use in journals as pages or whatever. Also take pics of chalks and the packaging. Awesome finds. What a fun time you've had finding them. I can imagine a smile a mile wide lol
Wow! Just wow! Did I say wow? You really hit jackpot. Again. Hands down, the Netherlands is the place for crafters and collectors. I would love to visit there, and not just for great finds, but because I would love to get away from ask the crazy of the states. And over and over I hear people say it is a wonderful country. One day for sure. Thanks for sharing all your amazing treasures! Hugs 🤗❤️
Margreth you’re so lucky to have awesome thrift shops. You really need to use that horrible orange fur to make a gaudy journal. Make it so ugly and clashing that you just can’t help but love it.
I looked up the hardcover Louisa Lady in waiting at our Amazon, and it's 70.00, as much as I would like to have one. That is too expensive. You found some awesome treasures, Margreth. 🙂♥️
I absolutely love your hauls. I think I loved the green shelf, the trims, the boxes and I'm looking forward to see what you do with all the fabrics. I collect rick rack and boxes and tins. I also collect Little Golden books, the classics, to turn into boxes and make altered books.
Love the button sampler. It pays to be curious. Most people would not even pick it up and check it out. The green shelf is wonderful. Those type of things are hard to come by and rarely found. So glad you were able to go back and get it. Yes you deserve to treat yourself now or then. Thank you for sharing. You always share the best ideas for using things that would otherwise just take up space at a landfill.
All fabulous! Those cheese boxes are awesome! Way more graphics than the ones in the states! I have been collecting them forever & they keep getting harder to find & more expensive! You got a great deal! I use them for storage everywhere! ❤️
Oh and forgot to add after the Napoleon Story that Lausanne is in Switzerland, in the part where they do speak French. I dove in creep on June (well in fussy cutting) and was so pleased to see your name as I would not be a Halloween girl at all (it will be a first) ! Loved all your haul as always !❤
Great haul Margreth. I too would have gone back for the post office piece. I loved the set of old documents with Napoleon’s name on them and the old book you got at your thrift store. You will have years of paper from that. Mr Holtz would love the reindeer piece of material you found for sure. See you tomorrow.
Oooh my gosh what a great haul. Love the button card and the letters and carts. ❤ love to see halloween makes. Great you collab on creepy june looking forward to it.
I had to add what i have bought at antique shops, too. I bought an 1858 iron clothes rack. It is green and has a huge round rack to hang things on. I bought an antique wooden mail sorting piece with lots of slots. And a custom made 16 feet long by 8 feet tall vintage shelving unit from an old bar from 1933. It has a bottom part that has drawers and sliding doors to hide the shelves behind the doors, and the top part is just shelves. It was made to fit into a bar in Texas, and it has parts that are differnt shapes to fit in front of the building's pipes. It is my favorite piece of furniture that I own. PS I'm a hoarder too.
Broke the bank!! 😂😂You got laundry labels for free!! I found a Louisa book for $14 which is just fine, $3.99 shipping. But lots were over $75 And when you sniff at Amsterdam it sounds like my husband from San Francisco and sniffing at Oakland 😂😂 That map corner illustrations. Be still my heart
I absolutely love that word haberdashery 😊❤i never knew what it meant until i watched you. Its a great word isnt it.??😊❤you must have been in a whimsical mood.😊fabric wow like double sided paper!! That button sampler must have shocked you when you opened it. I thought maybe it was hosiery. Definitely put that on Gunther perfect. I have a collection of pins fromnational parks and destinations in the USA. Those coffee filters are so good😊too many wonderful things to list😂😂
Happy Sunday Just a suggestion, use one of the awesome bells Swiss bells with the hardware to make the banner thing to call your servants. It would be so cool! Fun haul share!
Oooh my mum has lots of those bells from Switzerland! In multiple sizes, hahaha. She collected souvenirs from all over the world since she was in her early twenties, and now she's 81. The bells have their own special section in the Europe display cabinet, which is dominated by hundreds Delfts Blauw. Aaaand, that school exercise book, the yellowish one, I used those in elementary school in early 1980s! We called it the 'AA book'. But the one that you have now is older, from when Indonesian spelling was heavily influenced by Dutch (now oe becomes u, dj, becomes j, tj becomes c, and so on). The back side says 'Daftar Mata Peladjaran' meaning 'List of Lessons' with days of the week below, but now we spell 'peladjaran' as 'pelajaran', we ditched the d, hahaha. But there are so many Dutch words we still use such as gordijn (we spell it horden), stopkontakt (stopkontak), nachtkast (nakas), koelkast (kulkas), handdoek (handuk), and hundreds more. Well maybe you already know about this :D My generation in my family no longer speak Dutch on a daily basis, but my parents' generation still do (they are viertalen: Indonesian, Sundanese, English and Dutch). My aunts and uncles still call me Poppetje or meisje even though I'm 50 now :D Btw, great treasure haul as always! And I still envy you, hahaha.
You found alot of great items! I'm glad you were able to get your green shelf! I totally think you should find a way to use(recycle) those records! TFS 😊
I agree that the vintage boxes are something you can't pass up. Recently I purchased about 16 small vintage boxes that were from a shop that apparently fixed photo frames. I loved the boxes and my husband could use the items in the box so I got the boxes and he got the majority of the hardware. Paid quite a bit for them but I loved them so had to have them. I get it when you see stuff you have to have as I am the same.
Fabulous haul! I am understand the love of the hunt all too well! One of my sisters and I recently went to the Rose Bowl flea market and came home with many treasures! 🥰
Wonderful things... ❤ Yesterday I made a great deal and I got a 100 years old typewhriter for only 5€. Like yours, you know? I saw the one in your video and I was a little bit jealous, but now I got my own one. 😊
So many treasures I love them all! The idea of laminating the fabric is such a good idea. Love your little booth and mail shelf thing oh who am I kidding this has to be the best haul and I will be on the lookout for the suspender hooks that’s a great idea too.
You are killing my savings account! I've HAD to purchase many of the books you have found in thrift stores from Amazon. But I had to have them! I want to start making and selling my journals. Thanks for the creative ideas you show us. Happy thrifting.
Such treasures, amazing. I was intrigued by the NZ organza piece; I've not seen anything like that. Thanks for the peek into your world. I googled the Lady in Waiting book. It is available here, but not cheap. I'm going to keep my eye out for it. 😁 ❤ Belinda
Thank you so much for sharing the lady Louisa book - like you I think it is wonderful. Found one on Amazon for £6.00 plus postage. Worth every penny. Will be here by 31st - can’t wait ! So thankful for your find and sharing. Gosh the baking bun tin, my Mum had these - no idea what happened to them when she died many years ago. I can remember baking with it. Happy memories. ❤️
You could make a retro 60s journal using the fuzzy fabric. Check our pictures of Sonny and Cher from the 60s. They wore vests made from fake fur fabric. They were all the rage in the 60s with the beatnik crowd. Yes I am that old.
Margreth I love those buttons what a weird front to put on a button sampler. And that ribbon holder that was used for calling the butler or maid I’d love to find something like that. Maybe I could make one. That is so cool. Holly Hobby is from the 1970’s she was big here in the states. WOW loving your shelf so cool.
You always find the good stuff. I live in rural Missouri and there are no good finds like yours anywhere near me. And if by chance I found a PLACE, the finds would be too pricey for my pockets....lol. Good job! You have such nice things!
I went to a couple of thrift stores and came away with a 1960 dictionary, not really really old but kind of cool and a large format book of Los Angeles Times front page reprints from 1881 to 1981. I am really looking forward to using them both
Amazing, amazing haul. What didn't I love?. The Postal printer box is a great shelf for storage. I have one that is like a drawer. It has very small compartments. Wow you did so good there. TYFS
I love the New Zealand shower cloth. We used those to cover the afternoon teas so the flies never got to the food. That’d be very expensive here as it’s kitch New Zealand vintage
❤❤❤ bonjour en 1863 il s'agit de l'empereur Napoléon III. Ces documents sont des ventes aux enchères en adjudication publique de terres, près et jardins. Tout est magnifique. I love love love your green post office cabinet ❤❤❤
Hello Margreth... awesome finds... I'm a subscriber from Nigeria and I noticed a caption from one of the vintage newspapers you hauled "Rebel Plane Bombs Lagos Suburbs" ... that's here in Nigeria and the state where I was born... I asked my Dad and he said it was during the Civil war that started in 1967... same year as the newspaper... Just thought to share... 😊 Love your channel though ❤
Great haul, Margreth! Please show us how you store or display your vintage finds! I would love a tour of your craft room. Pretty please with a cherry on top! 🥰🤗
Totally agree🎉❤ it gives such an amazing impression om how an artist (brain) works and i always love some storage inspiration😅

Oooh my gosh what a great haul. Love the button card and the letters and carts. ❤ love to see halloween makes. Great you collab on creepy june looking forward to it.
😁👍🏻😘
So cool 🤩
I love these videos. I tell my husband I want to travel to your thrift stores. Each time I tell him he says oh you’ve watched your lady again. 😂😂
😂😘👍🏻
Broke the bank!! 😂😂You got laundry labels for free!!
I found a Louisa book for $14 which is just fine, $3.99 shipping. But lots were over $75
And when you sniff at Amsterdam it sounds like my husband from San Francisco and sniffing at Oakland 😂😂
That map corner illustrations. Be still my heart
😁👍🏻😘
I absolutely love that word haberdashery 😊❤i never knew what it meant until i watched you. Its a great word isnt it.??😊❤you must have been in a whimsical mood.😊fabric wow like double sided paper!! That button sampler must have shocked you when you opened it. I thought maybe it was hosiery. Definitely put that on Gunther perfect. I have a collection of pins fromnational parks and destinations in the USA. Those coffee filters are so good😊too many wonderful things to list😂😂

Happy Sunday
Just a suggestion, use one of the awesome bells Swiss bells with the hardware to make the banner thing to call your servants. It would be so cool! Fun haul share!
Great 😁👍🏻
I'm interested in seeing a project made from the record covers. Will love seeing what you come up with!!! :)
👍🏻😊
Celebration 🎉🎉time. You made it to 40k.❤❤❤❤ still expecting 50,000 before summer ends. Prayers up blessings down
Summer 2025 maybe 🤣👍🏻😘
@@SevenplazaCreative No , it's for 2024. I expect 75,000 in 2025.
Thank you so much ☺️
Fabulous haul! I wish I had kept all my fabric and slides, and junk from when we downsized! LOL
😂👍🏻😊
You found alot of great items! I'm glad you were able to get your green shelf! I totally think you should find a way to use(recycle) those records! TFS 😊
My pleasure 😇

😁👍🏻
Hi love 💖 Thank you 🤩😍
My pleasure 😘
Love your button book. Lucky you!!!!
Thanks 😊
I agree that the vintage boxes are something you can't pass up. Recently I purchased about 16 small vintage boxes that were from a shop that apparently fixed photo frames. I loved the boxes and my husband could use the items in the box so I got the boxes and he got the majority of the hardware. Paid quite a bit for them but I loved them so had to have them. I get it when you see stuff you have to have as I am the same.
😁😘👍🏻
Fabulous haul! I am understand the love of the hunt all too well! One of my sisters and I recently went to the Rose Bowl flea market and came home with many treasures! 🥰
👍🏻😊
Wonderful things... ❤ Yesterday I made a great deal and I got a 100 years old typewhriter for only 5€. Like yours, you know? I saw the one in your video and I was a little bit jealous, but now I got my own one. 😊
Yayyy 😁👍🏻
So many treasures I love them all! The idea of laminating the fabric is such a good idea. Love your little booth and mail shelf thing oh who am I kidding this has to be the best haul and I will be on the lookout for the suspender hooks that’s a great idea too.
Great 😁😘👍🏻
You are killing my savings account! I've HAD to purchase many of the books you have found in thrift stores from Amazon. But I had to have them! I want to start making and selling my journals. Thanks for the creative ideas you show us. Happy thrifting.
😊👍🏻😘
This is a joy to watch, Margreth. You find such amazing, quirky stuff. Thank you for sharing.
👍🏻😁
Great haul, so jealous, awesome for you.!!!.😅❤
Thanks 😊
Love the glass jars, in Canada we buy these jars at the dollar store. The suspender closures are also used for closures on coveralls.
😊👍🏻
Love the button sample book. And the big antique book. Good job.
Thanks 😊
Such treasures, amazing. I was intrigued by the NZ organza piece; I've not seen anything like that. Thanks for the peek into your world. I googled the Lady in Waiting book. It is available here, but not cheap. I'm going to keep my eye out for it. 😁 ❤ Belinda
😁😘👍🏻
I love the bucket
Thank you so much for sharing the lady Louisa book - like you I think it is wonderful. Found one on Amazon for £6.00 plus postage. Worth every penny. Will be here by 31st - can’t wait !
So thankful for your find and sharing.
Gosh the baking bun tin, my Mum had these - no idea what happened to them when she died many years ago. I can remember baking with it. Happy memories. ❤️
😘😘
You could make a retro 60s journal using the fuzzy fabric. Check our pictures of Sonny and Cher from the 60s. They wore vests made from fake fur fabric. They were all the rage in the 60s with the beatnik crowd. Yes I am that old.
😂👍🏻😘
Margreth I love those buttons what a weird front to put on a button sampler. And that ribbon holder that was used for calling the butler or maid I’d love to find something like that. Maybe I could make one. That is so cool. Holly Hobby is from the 1970’s she was big here in the states. WOW loving your shelf so cool.
Thanks ☺️
Just WOW love it all how can you choose a favourite 😅
👍🏻😁😘
Great haul. Love what you can get over there. Thank you for sharing
My pleasure 😇
I've been collecting too for a Holly Hobbie and Sarah Kay journal. Also you can playing cards.
😊👍🏻

😊👍🏻
So many awesome goodies XXX
Thanks sweetheart 😘
You always find the good stuff. I live in rural Missouri and there are no good finds like yours anywhere near me. And if by chance I found a PLACE, the finds would be too pricey for my pockets....lol. Good job! You have such nice things!
Thank you 😊
I went to a couple of thrift stores and came away with a 1960 dictionary, not really really old but kind of cool and a large format book of Los Angeles Times front page reprints from 1881 to 1981. I am really looking forward to using them both
😁👍🏻
Fantastic haul ! I think my favorites are the button display, the old book and the vintage documents. 💕💕
😊😘👍🏻
Amazing, amazing haul. What didn't I love?. The Postal printer box is a great shelf for storage. I have one that is like a drawer. It has very small compartments. Wow you did so good there. TYFS
😁👍🏻
I love the minature shop so so cute😮 i would love to be a fly on the wall while youre thrifting. The pure joy is you voice is fabulous❤
Thanks ☺️
I love the New Zealand shower cloth. We used those to cover the afternoon teas so the flies never got to the food. That’d be very expensive here as it’s kitch New Zealand vintage
😁👍🏻😘
❤❤❤ bonjour en 1863 il s'agit de l'empereur Napoléon III. Ces documents sont des ventes aux enchères en adjudication publique de terres, près et jardins. Tout est magnifique. I love love love your green post office cabinet ❤❤❤
😁👍🏻😘
Hello Margreth... awesome finds... I'm a subscriber from Nigeria and I noticed a caption from one of the vintage newspapers you hauled "Rebel Plane Bombs Lagos Suburbs" ... that's here in Nigeria and the state where I was born... I asked my Dad and he said it was during the Civil war that started in 1967... same year as the newspaper... Just thought to share... 😊
Love your channel though ❤
😁👍🏻😘
You really hit gold on so many things!
Thanks 😊
