Odd, as I tried it for the first time today and it worked like a champ! My kitchen floor was really dirty as we had the grandkids over yesterday and spills all over and it mopped as a it should have, surprisingly cleaned my house. My only issue was with the mapping, during the clean the App said it couldn't get my map, which made the finish difficult as it was going into definded no go zones, will try again and hope for the map to show....

Or do they offer updates because I've had nonsense end of November and it's awful. the first one actually wouldn't even really work at all so I had to get a replacement immediately and this one when I put them up thing on it goes right back over the same spot is already mopped and sucks the water up into the dustbin and I have a huge mess afterwards. plus i mean it looks like it's been through hell and back after the first month I mean scratches all over it a huge gouge in it from running into stuff and stuff I mean that is more than two inches tall for sure. I tried to contact support many times they hang up on me or they are rude even though I'm very polite to them.
@@Loni783 I have owned this for about 3 weeks now and still spot on, cleans then I attach the mop and does that perfectly, I actually believe this is learning my house as at the beginning it has its share of banging into stuff and as time has gone on its not happening as much! I did notice when it starts up with the mop attached it does sit and spin for a bit, that's to wet the pad, after that it takes off. Sorry you ate having a terrible experience as this is just what I have been looking for....

I so wish I would have seen this video before buying this. I've been hoping they will come up with a better one since it's been over a year. I just cannot see myself spending close to $1,000 though on one of the better brands that do both. my husband says well it does still vacuum though right I'm like would you buy a new refrigerator and if the refrigerator part didn't work say oh well at least the freezer still works we'll keep it? that doesn't even make sense. lol
That crazy robot vacuum guy had a much better experience with this bot, and it actually released some water. Are the brush motors and mop motor connected, this eco mode reduces speed of both?

All the mopping accessories of various brands cannot beat the fundamental Y mopping of Viomi v3 and clones which offers full coverage. The v3 will saturate the mop pad first by running the starting path twice. I too am surprised why the other major brands did not do this.
@@wolfboy7612 . It’s unlikely a patent issue because is adding additional runs when initializing. Like LG M9 will pump water many time during the initial schedule startup to wet the round pads but does not do that in manual start.
@@darreny2433 Most of the vac mops have very small water tanks, so I'd guess that's the main issue. It's too easy to we the mop pad when you install it.

Mine does this. It has 3 little streaks that come out behind it but it's not that wet at all. It doesn't get my dirty spots. But when I did only water it got it all wet. Maybe the solution isn't good for it.
tbh, I just use the 'mopping' functionality of my robot vac to pick up additional dust which it fails to suck up with the vacuum (it really does pick up additional dust). Any real spills/stains, I just have to do it myself unfortunately XD.

Idk unless since this vid is 2 years old it may be the newer model is better? Not sure but something isnt right. Unless that vanilla pudding is actual elmers glue

Purchased the Shark AI VacMop Pro (R201WD) and the non mop version (R201) to determine if the mopping was worth it. I agree just get the R201 model. I got mine at my local Target for $299 while at Best Buy it is being sold at 429.99 and the R201WD at 479.99+ Tax. I returned the IQ Model prior to being these. That robot was a nightmare. Looks like it is being phased out. This one so far is great.

Decided to use it again yesterday and now it malfunctions whenever I attach the mop attachment. Seems to forget the map, goes around randomly, then seems to get "stuck" in a small area, stops and says to put it back on dock as it can't find the dock on its own. Again, in vac mode it works perfect! Can anyone help?
Sonic mopping is like 480 scrubs like the Deebot T8, and actual sonic mopping is like 3000 scrubs like the ROBOROCK S7! Robot manufactures (ROBOROCK) should add a brushroll for vacuuming at the front, a brushroll for wet messes like ketchup in the middle, and 2 spinning pads for sticky messes on the back!

Recommend presoaking the mop pad. It helps on any of them with this feature. :)
I just bought this, do you think maybe it could work better if you spray the mopping pad until it’s damp?
I have had mine for about 4 days. The first time the mop ran on max flow, it was great. Since then it won't even work with the mop attachment at all.
I would take it back and try something else.

Any chance you’re going to try the oscillating mop attachment for the T8+? That one supposedly does 480 oscillations per minute.
I doubt it...I really hate all mopping robots ( the mopping part) LOL I really don't think it will do a good job. How many people want to see that?

I have this robot and when I set it to 2 passes it does 2 passes, I think think he confirmed and made sure it was actually set to 2 passes

I would not buy any vacumm to mop, have the original white Braava and it does a great job gets into every section of my floors
guess I will keep my swift wet jet and save about $390
I bought the s9+ and the mope does a poor job. It is in the closet forever. The vac works just fine.

Did you install the dustbin? If it isn't installed and the mop attachment is, then it will give you this error.

Shark has always been a garbage brand. I came to check out the review and Im not surprised by the results. POS company. Thanks for saving me money
