I just got my own Vacmop Pro and it’s running now... unless you routinely have jelly beans, or beans of any sort scattered on your floor, I wouldn’t worry about the sound level. I measured the sound of the actual suction and brush roll and even at 3 feet away it peaked at 61 dB (normal conversation level is closer to 70 dB). I had a Roomba previously that was closer to 75-80 dB and THAT was loud. I’m still forming my opinion of how well it performs, but if your considering this I wouldn’t worry about the sound level. I’m sure on the occasion that you do have some beans or similar items on the floor it may be annoying, but if that’s a daily thing for you, it may not be the vacuum that has a problem.
Yeah i agree. The sound is different but its really not that loud unless theres a jelly bean sized thing(which ive never hear on my own floor).
how easy is emptying the vac? and how often? none of the reviews cover this information :(
Lol, if you consistently have jelly beans on your floor you might have a different problem....
I love popcorn. 🍿😊 LOL I was gifted this vac mop by my son and his family. I was more impressed than I thought I'd be. Never thought I'd own one beings I didn't think they'd perform well enough to justify the cost. Thanks for the video.
Glad to see Shark managed to put out a pretty decent robot finally but the fact that it sounds like a rock tumbler even without a jellybean stuck in it would be a deal breaker for me too. Either way, for sure much better than the IQ.

I'm leaning towards this one now. I was mostly set to get a self emptying Shark IQ. I'm allergic to dust and my cordless Tineco is great in many ways, but it has to be emptied sometimes after a carpet and the brush roll has to be picked out halfway through the carpet. I have 3 cats and long hair, so the Shark's self cleaning brushroll would be perfect for me. I don't think I'd mind the noise. Plus most of the noise was because it's a stress test, which it passed very well and I'll never be vaccuuming jelly beans. The strength of this model w/ the self cleaning brushroll design makes for a narrower port, as it cleans itself. I'm ok w/ that. If I have a big chunky mess, which is rare, it's quicker and far more efficient to reach for the broom. The bit that gives me pause if the edge cleaning. Oh well, off for another review to find out how the sonic mop feature works. I just ordered an iLife Shinebot, but I'm underwhelmed w/ the large amount of maintenance to run it. It's as bad as the Tineco.
I’m watching this at the same time as my Shark AI is vacuuming my house lol. It’s so loud I have to pause the video when it came in the room 😆
It’s loud but when you attach the mop bin, it is much quieter. I bought it for the mopping and it does a great job at mopping. I’ve tried roomba bravo, and another vacmop. However, this shark mop is far better. Hence, I can live with the noise!
I was about to go watch some reviews on the mop feature. I just got an iLife Shinebot mopper. I wanted to love it, and in some ways I do, but if the Shark comes close, or better yet, exceeds it, I just got it yesterday. I can return it easily. I was thinking of getting a cheap mop/vac to get under things the Shinebot doesn't, but now that I have it, there isn't much it can get under. That's the main perk of having a robot vac, to get all the places you have to haul furniture out to get at, and I'm still stuck doing that. The edge cleaning on the shark vacuum mode is underwhelming. How is it under normal conditions? Adam tend to act like something is total garbage that insulted him personally, if it can't pass one of his crazy stress tests. Which robots are not designed for and no one sane would use it for. We have these super handy inventions for big rare messes - it's old school, but best school - a broom and dustpan.
The bin is the same as the non self empty version of the iq.
Thing is so loud first time start up thought it was broken. Guess thats just normal
I just have mine and I love it, I don't mind about the noise cause I use it to clean the second floor while I am in the first, but it did a great job 👍👍
How is the edge cleaning in real world situations? I'm super impressed w/ this one so far. It's just the edge cleaning that gives me pause. I really wish Shark would listen to its reviewers and do at least dual brush, and stick to slow mode to reduce scatter.

You should really try the Shark IQ again as it’s not junk. $399 at Costco with the self empty bin. It made a map on the first run but it’s not as smart as the AI. The IQ will run into more stuff which the AI would actively avoid. But still pretty good.

Shark iq is ok for the money. I seriously planned on getting it until I did more researched and found that it's not for me I found better ones even though I'll be paying extra 200 still worth the money. Deboot and Roomba is where its at.

Looks like it did it’s job. All vacuum cleaners are loud. Doesn’t bother me!
I didn't clean the brush roll on the iq for almost a year of daily cleaning and it only had a few strands of hair stuck down the very middle.

I am super sad. Mine delivered today and it sounds bizarre. I didn’t even make a full run yet. I think I will have to return it. It sounded like something was wrong with it. I sacrificed self empty ones for mop option I guess that was a mistake.
sorry but it was a mistake. I have yet to find a good mopping robot that also vacuums.

Interesting review. As other have said, the whole jelly bean thing is over the top. Would you actual not clean done thing like that up immediately and instead send the vacuum to get it.
Please take this next comment in the spirit it is intended. Some people are made to do videos and have the voice and talent to make it interesting to watch. Unfortunately, you don’t. I FF’ed through most of it.
The review was more of a self-centered test where you expected it to fail. And when it did better then you thought, you had an attitude about it. Or maybe that’s just the way you come across.
What if your unit is defective? Almost sounds like the brushroll belt is getting grinded down by the motor this was a problem with the ion sharks

I think it’s the brush roll hitting the plastic blade for the hair removal.
Similar to iq brush roll. What i noted...it has STOP sign shape instead of round around.
Manually turn the beater bar and you can feel it click instead of a turn that is smooth.

LOL...I think you need to...its a test to see what it can and what it cannot handle. Also kid's leave messes. They sell alot of jellybeans in the world ya know.
@@AdamsReviews One of the best low tech invention ever is the humble broom and dustpan. It's much quicker to reach for and it's the tool for the job, not a robot vac.

Can you do the strest test on debot t8 again.????🤔 🤔 🤔 After watching the video a couple of times i notice it wasn't on max suction on floor., because the suction increase from floor to carpet and when it's on max suction there is no change on suction. And i notice all the other ones you select max suction on everything 😀😀
It already almost did perfect so max would just make it even better.

If you remove the hair plate it will stop making a load nose, it will pick up a lot better. its two screw's to remove it!!
Yes I tried that in a different video...it does help but still alot louder than most robot vacuums

@@shanebright4323 W/ 3 cats and my long hair, I have a lot more hair to deal w/ than I ever will jelly beans. A self cleaning roller on a vaccuum is friggen brilliant. I've killed vacs w/ all that hair, not realizing how quick it would build up. My Tineco has to be de-haired halfway through a carpet. It won't jam, but it just gets saturated and the beater bar doesn't pick up well. My big old heavy dirt devil breaks the belts all the time, when there's too much stress on the beater bar. I have to unscrew everything to perform surgery on it when it gets so clogged it smokes. Only the old man occasionally has to use it for upstairs rugs. This would be brilliant.
